A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 93: Chapter 93: Jing Heng Didn’t Bully You, Did He?

The reporters looked at Mu Yan, shaking their heads internally, she seemed like an inexperienced young girl.

Sister Zhou, a big name like Zhou Lifen, would surely never admit that her resources were taken by a small stand-in, but who knows what she would do behind the scenes.

A reporter sarcastically said, ”With so much gossip online, hasn’t Miss Mu seen it?”

”I’ve seen it, but it’s not true.” Mu Yan suddenly extended her hand towards the reporter, ”You must have evidence if you’re questioning me, right? Can you show me?”

The reporters were stunned; where would they find evidence?

Mu Yan saw they weren’t speaking, her delicate brows furrowed slightly, ”No evidence?”

Song Cheng’an looked at Mu Yan; her eyes were clear and fearless.

He had worried she couldn’t handle it, but now he realized he had underestimated her.

A reporter argued, ”But there’s no smoke without fire. If there wasn’t something to it, why would someone leak it? Moreover, didn’t Zhou Lifen hint at it on Weibo? How do you explain that!”

Mu Yan wore an expression of helplessness, ”I also want to know who I’ve offended, but unfortunately, no one tells me. As for what you said about Sister Zhou’s Weibo post, I’m sure that was lamenting the plot. If you don’t believe it, please refer to the original work, and make sure it’s the official version, since writing isn’t easy for the author.”

Now the reporters were silent, scrutinizing Mu Yan closely.

Originally, the girl looked like a small flower standing in front of Song Cheng’an, innocent and harmless.

Who would have thought, this little flower had thorns.

Indeed, someone that Song Cheng’an favored wouldn’t be simple.

Mu Yan continued, ”Regarding the negative news online, I don’t want to explain too much anymore. As an actress, I will strive to speak through my work, thank you.”

After she finished, she bowed to the reporters.

Seeing this, Song Cheng’an said, ”Alright, that’s all for today’s interview. Later, Mu Yan has filming to do, so please take care of our Mu Yan in the future.”

He finished speaking and escorted Mu Yan into the set.

The reporters tried to follow but were stopped by security.

After walking for a while, Song Cheng’an released Mu Yan and asked her, ”Were you nervous?”

Mu Yan thought for a moment and said, ”Not really, just played an innocent and ignorant girl, but what I said was from the heart.”

Song Cheng’an knew she referred to her last comment about concentrating on acting well.

He laughed, ”I was really afraid you’d clash with them.”

Mu Yan shook her head, ”That wouldn’t happen. The more agitated I get, the happier they are. After all, the sharper the topic, the more rewards they get. And why would I make the people who bully me happy?”

Song Cheng’an felt Mu Yan constantly surprised him, revealing she could hold grudges.

He couldn’t help but say, ”Jing Heng hasn’t been bullying you, has he?”

Mu Yan, ”...”

Why bring him up suddenly?

But also, has that person left the film city yet?

”Did you bring ginger tea?” Song Cheng’an asked again.

”I brought it.”

Song Cheng’an smiled, ”Drink a lot of it.”

Mu Yan didn’t suspect his intentions and nodded, ”I know.”

Can’t deny this ginger tea tastes quite nice.

Arriving at the set, Mu Yan went to the makeup room to prepare.

Song Cheng’an sat in the rest area and scrolled through the comments on Mu Yan’s Weibo.

Although some still criticized her for trying to clear her name, many people’s attention had shifted to the plot.

If today’s interview content exposed, the slander against her should be mostly cleared up.

Thinking of this, he picked up his phone to report the situation to someone.
