Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Fan Xui tiredly walked over to his room. After a long coma, his body could not handle manual work well. His joints were aching and so were his muscles.

He plopped onto the mattress and laid flat with his arms and legs flayed out. ”it’s tiring....”

Closing his eyes he could remember Yue working super hard bringing him bricks. It was the only thing that motivated him to work even harder. But somehow guilt ate at his heart.

He wanted Yue to work in a comfortable place. Manual labor like that will take a toll on the body in the long run.

”psst... psst...” a small sound disrupted his thought process.

He sat up, glancing out the closed window.

Yue on the other side waved at him with a wide smirk.

Fan Xui silently stood up straight. ’Our windows are close by! Oh my heavens! This is amazing..’ he threw open the door. ”Had dinner?”

”Not yet? I’m going to take a bath first...” Yue smiled with a hand on his chin. ”You look tired though, go take a nap. I’ll call you over for dinner,”

Fan Xui distractedly watched his lips move.

”Fan~ what are you looking at?”

”N-nothing...just looking at you...”

Yue smiled softly. ”Say Fan, tell me why did you fall for me? you don’t remember me... yet you seem to be smitten..” his smile faltered a bit. ”Why is that?”

”I do remember you, and... this attraction; even I don’t know how to explain it. it feels like this body feels intensely for you,”

Yue chuckled. ”That’s a weird way of putting it... you talk as if this body is not your own,”

”It’s not, This body is not mine….” Fan Xui peered at his reaction. Yue’s face changed subtly.

”Then ... then who are you? wh-where is Fan Xui....” Yue’s smile completely melted away.

Fan Xui did not answer rather, he was at a loss for words. Saying that he was from an alternate world will not be believable, even Qian did not believe it.

”I’m Fan Xui... but not the ’Fan Xui’ you knew. The ’Fan Xui’ you knew is not here anymore.” these words were almost at the edge of his tongue.

But instead, he uttered. ”I’m just a stranger you met at the hospital. A stranger that fought zombies with you... a stranger who wants to love you and cherish you. Will you give me that chance?....” holding his breath he waited for Yue to smile and say that it was okay....

Yue looked at him unsurely. ”I…...I don’t know...I have to think...” he walked away from the window.

Fan Xui let out his breath. His heart was aching slightly watching him walk away.

Soon Yue’s curtains were closed.

He sat down, sighing loudly. ’It will be okay, right?’

The feeling Yue had to that ’Fan Xui’ was definitely obvious.

No one is selfless enough to risk their lives coming into a zombie-infested hospital to save a stranger. The person Yue wanted to save was this world’s ’Fan Xui’ the one he loved.

But instead, all Yue got was him.

His head started to ache again. He bundled himself in the bed and slept off, trying not to think of anything else.

Yue, on the other hand... pranced around the house anxiously biting his fingernails. His eyes welled up with tears.

”Yue...” Tian pulled him to the side of the garden and made him sit down on the ground. ”what’s wrong?”

”It’s.. Fan Xui.. He says that he is not himself. He says that he a stranger...” he mumbled, fidgeting with the bottom of his T-shirt. His hands were trembling too much.

Tian held it and gently caressed it.

”Tian.... I don’t think he is the Fan Xui we know... he says it’s not his own body....he says he is a stranger. But it sounds impossible..”

”Um did the aliens steal his body?” Tian whispered.

Yue glanced at her with a slight glare. ”Not the time to joke.”

”no, I’m serious. What if someone’s soul stole his body? Something unscientific happened to you too. You said you were from the future. Just like you Maybe he is from another place... somewhere we don’t know of,”

Yue shook his head. ”Then how did he know Qian and others? It’s not possible Tian... if he is a stranger he must not know anything about this world. He just does not remember meeting me or anyone related to me. It’s strange...”

Tian stood up. ”Come on, get up,”

”What?” Yue wiped away his tears.

”You have to talk it out. Doubts and assumptions will kill your feelings. Go and talk it out,” she pushed him towards the door.

His parents who were by the sofa looked his way, gesturing to go on.

”Fine... I’m going... at least let me change into a new pair of clothes. I look like shit.” he walked back into his room and changed into a black t-shirt and some comfortable shorts.

He tied his hair up in a messy bun and stepped out of his house.

Just outside he saw something he did not like.

Liwei sat there, slumped down by Fan Xui’s gate.

Without a word, Yue walked past him.

A hand grabbed his leg. ”It’s you right... you are his boyfriend?” he maliciously glared at him.

Yue shook his hand away. ”I’m unsure at the moment. But if you touch me again I will cut your fucking hands.,”

He pushed him away and walked over to the door and knocked.

A minute passed and there was no reply.

He knocked once again.

Fan Xui did not come to the door.

”Fan Xui! You stupid idiot! Open the door darn it!” he shouted banging on the door.

Footsteps hurried to the door.

Fan Xui opened the door in a hurry. ”Y-Yue... I thought it was... Liwei.” He glanced behind him at the figure out of the gate.

”We need to talk.” Yue walked in with a serious composure. Internally he was arranging all the things he wanted to ask and clarify.

”Yue... I didn’t expect you to..”

Yue placed a dagger to his throat.

”A stranger can’t have Fan Xui’s memories? Who are you? Answer me clearly or I will hurt you,”
