Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Yue remained silent all the way to the military barrack. His heart was still unsettled.

First of all, his killer was living right next door. It did not feel safe to leave his parents alone at home.

Secondly, that annoying guy was trying to steal Fan Xui!

’Fuck that white lotus!’

After reaching there, Yue and the others waited at the entrance. Because uncle Wen mentioned that someone will be receiving them.

Many cast a look their way.

”Tian! Yue!” Hary ran to them with a bright smile on his face. He fist bumped Tian and suddenly hugged him.

”Hary,” Yue hugged him back. ”Why didn’t you come back home last night?”

Hary awkwardly smiled at him. ”Just had a bit of work here. Here, come, let me take you around the place,”

He confidently took them, touring the underground floors. Everyone who met them greeted Hary with a bright smile and 9 composure.

’Hary is a hit in the barracks. As for Fan..’ he glanced at Fan Xui who was casually walking alongside. ’he... seems to have no presence at all. Is it because Tian and Hary exhibited their ability?’

Fan Xui gently touched his pinky finger.

Yue pulled away with a pout. ’Still haven’t forgiven you, buddy.’

”The military barrack is completely underground with only a floor above ground for top generals.

First is the training area, and second is the weapons area. The medical bay is three floors below; the labs are on the restricted fourth floor.

It’s not accessible for anyone else, but for you,” Hary handed a small ID card to Yue. ”Everything in here is free to roam, that’s exactly what mister Wen told me to convey,”

Yue held the ID card with a strange feeling in his heart. Back in his past life, he struggled a lot just to survive. Even back then uncle we existed, but he never got to meet him. This life... everything changed... for the good.

”t-thank you,”

Tian, Juda, and Lui Went separate ways.

Before the end of the world Juda was training to be a nurse, so uncle Wen arranged a mentor for her so that she could learn and be of help at the military barracks.

As for Tian and Juda, they chose to work as a nurse as well.

Yue moved closer to Tian and whispered, ”You know what you are dealing with right? Being a nurse you might have to deal with a lot of people with various injuries...,”

”Don’t worry these hands that can cut can also stitch,” Tian proudly proclaim and left with a goodbye.

Hary also was called for work. ”There are four canteens on each floor. Help yourselves.” He said as he was being dragged away by another soldier. ”a van will come and pick you up at 9 am by the gate. Best of luck!”

Yue waved at him reflecting his bright smile.

He took the stairs down to the labs first to submit the test subjects. His initial plan was to give it to Qian but.... he glanced back at the guy, who was jubilantly talking to Fan,

’I don’t trust him enough now. Somehow I feel like he will splurge all the secrets to that annoying ass.’

They walked down the corridor they passed by a door with Qian’s name written on a piece of paper.

”Oh you guys are here to drop me, that’s so sweet of you,” Qian smiled innocently.

Ignoring his silly remarks Yue just walked over to the door which had a huge paper stuck on it with the words ”Dr. Prisitsky at work don’t disturb” and knocked on it the door.

”If it’s not for food, don’t ever knock,” a loud shout came from inside.

”I have a few tissue samples for you,”

Qian just gave him a surprised look. ”Samples? What kind of samples? Where did you get it?” he curiously beaked inside the basket he was carrying. ”Are those your quails? Oh my, did you get a zombified quail!!!” he anxiously tried to take it from him.

Yue pulled away with his brows raised. ”it’s for DR. Prisitsky.”

”But... but... I’m the lead researcher on virology and this was my project,” he stammered, trying to give a logical reason.

”Now it’s mine,” Prisitsky poked his head out with a wide grim. ”I’m so happy you trusted me Yue,” he took the barrel from him and excitedly looked at the quails. ”ohhh ohhh this is so much exciting. Look at their eyes they are oozing something. I need samples,” he banged the door close and left them hanging out the door.

”This.... this is not fair,” Qian grumbled, looking at him with a lost puppy look.

”All is fair in love and war. Both situations apply to me,” Yue just flicked his hair and walked away.

Fan Xui happily followed behind him as he walked to the cafeteria. Unknown Qian also followed behind them silently instead of going to his lab.

The cafeteria was a large hall with tables set up close together. In the corner, by the kitchen, a huge table was arranged with food trays. Yue looked at the menu, they had rice and a lot of side dishes, even a huge piece of fried chicken was rationed to everyone.

He was much more satisfied with this result.

Easting here, they might be able to save a lot of food.

He excited took the plates and lined up along with the soldiers.

”They seem to be giving out seconds as well. I wonder if we can have take-outs,” Fan Xui awkwardly tried to start a conversation but he just gave him the cold shoulder.

Qian who was watching this all from the back pulled Fan Xui behind a step. ”Is your boyfriend angry with you as well?”

”And you wonder why.....” Fan Xui just sighed. ”Qian, I’ve decided. Liwei is leaving my house. If you disagree, so are you,”

”Wait, are you kicking me out? Fan ah~ I love you so much how can you just ditch me.” Qian pitifully cried handing onto his hands.

”He leaves either way.. I don’t like him in my house,” Fan Xui removed his hands off and walked over to Yue.
