Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Zou Yue dragged the dead bodies over to the neighbouring empty plot and burned them. As for the soldiers, they kept them alive because they needed to warm the others and scare them in some way that they won’t target their house.

”What is your plan?” Fan Xui glanced at the unconscious men on the ground.

”They are turning brazen... we need to make them fear my house. Wait for a bit here,” he walked into the house and glanced at the vine. He gently tapped them to check whether they move on their own.

Confirming that they don’t, he went to his father.

”Dad, I need your help,”

”What is it? Is there something wrong? I heard voices outside...” he worriedly held his shoulders.

”Nothing.. just a small help. I want you to control the pea vines as you did before.”

His father’s frown deepened. ”i-I don’t know what you are talking about Yue. I didn’t control that.”

”You did. Your strong emotions controlled it. Try to see if it works.” He walked him out of the room.

His father slightly fearfully looked at the vines crawling on the ground. ”Is this okay.. is this safe?”

”It is as long as you can control them..” Yue held his hand and gently placed it on a vine.

The vines did not move as they did before.

”It’s not working Yue.. I told....” the vines gently moved and slithered on his arm. ”ahh! It’s got me! It’s got me!” he screamed pulling his hand away.

His mum ran out in panic from his shouting. ”Honey, are you okay? Oh, my god is your and okay,”

Yue rushed to him and pulled him off the ground. ”It didn’t hurt you, right?” he gently touched his wrist. There was not even a bruise on it. ”Dad, that plant is not our enemy. Don’t fear it. Touch it like you are treating a child,”

”I...Yue... I..”

”Don’t fear it. Just touch it again,” he urged him softly.

His father gently touched the vines on the ground. They started to wiggle and wound around his wrist again. But it was not in a restricting manner. It gently crept on his over his shoulders and touched his face.

”It’s... it’s touching me.. it won’t go inside my mouth or ears, right?”

”I hope it won’t..” Yue also carefully watched the vine’s movement.

Feeling his father’s hesitation the vine did not approach him more. It softly laid on his lap shaking and wiggling.

”It’s... it’s like a pet..” his father petted the rough stems. The vine wiggled even more. ”It’s creepy....”

”Yeah slightly..’ Yue had to agree the vines moving like that and acting like a puppy was very, very creepy. ”’ but he is here to safeguard our house.”

”He did... he saved our house. Thank you...”

Yue got up with a plan in his mind. ”You can completely control him, right? I’ve got a plan. We need his help to do so...”

”w-wh...”

”Stay hidden and move the vines. Mum, go back to the room and hide as well. Blackie, come out and scare them okay,”

The cat meowed cutely and stretched her back.

Yue ran out of the house to the small house nearby. The hidden figure looked at him and dashed swiftly.

But Fan Xui did not give the chance to escape. They both blocked him on either side.

The man looked about thirty, with a long beard.

”You came with the robbers, right?”

”n-no... I did not. I just looked. I swear I did not do anything wrong.. don’t kill me...” the man cried on his knees.

Yue dragged him up and pulled him over to the house. ”Fan, wake one of them. Let them see what killed those men.”

Fan did so and dragged the man into the house. They both threw them in closing the door on them.

Zou Wei, who was hiding behind the kitchen counter, moved the vines as per plan.

The vines woke up like snakes and started to crawl closer to the two men.

”ahh! Let us go! Help help!” they both ran to the door banging loudly.

Yue and Fan Xui stood there pushing the door close.

”Do you think this will work?” Fan Xui softly whispered.

”They will spread the word about my house. For now it will deter looters. But later on, they will gain courage and try to find other ways. Before that, I need to safeguard the house even more.” Yue whispered glancing up at them. The shout behind the door was getting louder and a small crunching sound was heard. ”You don’t think I’m cruel, do you?”

”No, it’s necessary to give them quite a scare.” He moved away from the door and opened it.

The two men came out with tears and snot covering their mouths. Their arms seemed to be flopping on their sides.

”Hey take your men and go!” Yue pointed to the unconscious soldiers.

The man did not even bother. He just bolted off of there.

”Scare them shitless done,” Yue smirked widely peering at the three men on the ground. ”let’s take them back to barrack and see who this general is.”

”mnn hmm... I love it when you are so overbearing..” Fan Xui ever so softly whispered.

Yue froze. ”What did you say?..”

”N-nothing. Let’s go fast.” He pulled two of them over his shoulders and started to walk briskly towards the barracks.

Yue peered at his back. His doubts about Fan Xui’s identity increased a lot. There is even a chance that he might be reborn just as he was.

’But is it possible? No, I don’t think so. Fan Xui for that life always had a cold face. Never smiled. Never missed his timely lunch or breakfast.’

”Come along.” Fan Xui glanced back with a bright smile.

”Coming!” Yue ran to him, dragging the other man behind. ’It’s not possible. But whatever secret Fan Xui has... I will accept it wholeheartedly.’

After ten minutes of walking, they reached the barracks. Right by the gate, Qian was waiting with a bright smile on his face. ”I was waiting for you two~ how was your first-day work~ I hope it was not too tiresome...”

Fan Xui looked at him up and down. ”What’s with you? Did you sniff laughing gas?”

”No~ just happy~” Qian wiggled his butt around with a shy smile.

’Guess you made up with Peng Peng?”

”Yeah. We actually didn’t even have the fight, to begin with. My darling boyfriend was so shy to show me his face after so long. I had to coax him out of his bed...” he mumbled, blushing slightly.

Yue just rolled his eyes. ’they did it...’

That was the logical answer he could find for this new joyful Qian.

”I hope Peng Peng went soft on you. He is usually very rough,” Yue mumbled dragging the man behind.

Qian stood there with flushed cheeks. ”r-rough? How rough?”

”Rough rough~ oh you are in for a treat~” Yue giggled evilly and left him standing there in shock.

”Good luck with that…” Fan Xui patted his friend back and walked along beside Yue.

After reaching in, a lot of soldiers glanced their way. The emergency doctors and nurses came along to pick up the soldiers from their shoulders.

”What happened?” the lead doctor glanced at their broken hands and knees.

”An accident.” Yue calmly smiled at him.

Giving the soldiers away, Yue and Fan directly walked over to his uncle’s study.

He knocked on it loudly.

”Come in,”

Yue opened the huge double door partially and walked in. ”uncle~”

”Yue, how was your first day at work. Was it hard? If so, tell me. I will arrange a position for you.”

”No, no, it was good.”

His uncle paused, glancing at his blood-stained hand. ”What happened? Did you get hurt? how?”

”Some rogue men they tried to loot our house. But dad stopped them,”

”Your dad? Wow, that was heroic of him,” uncle Wen took his hand and made him sit down on the chair. ”I checked on Tian, she seems to be doing great. They all seem to respect her a lot..” he said with a wide smirk on his face.

Qian walked in with a dull look. ”Did you think of your son? Or did you forget that I existed?”

”I know you went to your boyfriend’s place. You think I will let you roam around without a bodyguard.”

”You had someone tag me?! Oh my god, this is a breach of my privacy. I can’t accept that at all.” he sat down on the empty chair with a pout.

Uncle Wen sat down after handing him a packed tissue. ”So, is there a reason to visit?”

”We do, uncle. Do you know General Kung?”

Uncle Wen frowned. ”Brute of a man, yes. I do. Why?”

”He seems to be ordering men to do some weird stuff. Some guys tried to kidnap me just now,”

”What!” his uncle shot up in fury.

”Yes. They acted like unruly thugs. We did not kill them, though. We brought them here in one piece,” Yue said, wiping the blood away with the tissue uncle handed.

”Call general Kung here!” uncle Wen shouted.
