Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

After hugging uncle Wen goodbye, Yue slowly walked out of the study. Outside, his sister was standing leaning against the wall with a grumpy look on her face.

”Shall we go?”

”Hmm.....” Yue awkwardly patted her back. ”I’ll make sure to disinfect your shoulder.” He whispered softly.

Tian Ai just gave him a look and walked away.

Sighing, Yue ran after her. ”I seriously don’t understand girls....”

Just out of the compound Juda was playing with the chicken and the black cat. As soon as they came close, she glanced up.

With a deep glare on her face, she faced Tian Ai.

”What?”

”Nothing,” Juda snapped, facing away from her.

Yue knew that it was time for him to step up or else the fight might progress into something more serious. But as he was about to intervene, Lui, who was silently walking behind him, gently patted his back.

”Don’t even try to get involved. I know Juda. She is a sweet person but when you cross her, she becomes a complete opposite.” She whispered close to his ear.

”When will they both calm down?”

”Don’t know about Tian, but Juda will take a while to get back to her sweet self. Until then, just tolerate her snappy self,” she apologetically pouted.

Yue shook his head. ”It’s not a problem, but if they continue fighting, it might cause a lot of problems in our teamwork,”

”True.....”

In absolute silence, they walked back to their home. Since Juda and Lui still did not have any accommodation, they had to stay at his home momentarily.

Entering the house, he was excitedly greeted by his mother, who seemed to be waiting by the door.

”What did uncle Wen say?”

”He said no,” Yue hugged her softly and placed his head on her shoulder.

For a moment, her face looked very relieved by this news, but soon she looked apologetic. ”I know you wanted to save Fan Xui but darling, this is for the best,”

”Uncle Wen sent out a team to rescue them,”

”That’s great!!” she happily hugged him even tighter. ”Now come in, you have not properly rested after reaching home. Just take a long rest. Mum will make your favourite dishes, yes...”

”hmm...” Yue dispiritedly went to his room.

Tian gave an awkward nod to his mother and followed after him.

Zou Nui sighed in relief. ”Thank god.... I thought he might try to run away once again,”

”He has a record?” Lui curiously leaned close.

”Yue is very naughty and stubborn. If he sets his mind on something, he will make sure to do it. Sometimes both he and his father’s ideals clash a lot. Like when he wanted to be a full time model. They both had a fall out and Yue ran away.....” she whispered, glancing at the closed door. ”Even now I get anxious that he might try to run away again,”

”Oh, aunty I don’t think he will ever run away again,” Juda suddenly hugged her stiff shoulders. ”When we were travelling together, he was so anxious to get back home. Every night he stayed up secretly mumbling about you and his father. He was super worried about your health.”

Nui looked at her with tears in her eyes. ”Really?”

”Yeah, I’m telling the truth. Your son loves you more than anything in the world. Even if you chase him out, he will come running to you guys.”

Zou Nui chuckled, wiping her tears away. ”you are right.... he would sit by the door like a lost puppy begging for us to forgive him....” she sniffled a little. ”What am I doing showing my ugly side like this? Sorry, come in. I will make you guys lunch,”

Juda, who was hugging her, smirked widely. ”You are pretty even when you are crying. I bet Tian got her beauty from you,”

Nui touched her heated cheeks tenderly. ”You think so,”

”I know so; she looks so much like you. Like a carbon copy of you. Yue has his father’s eyes while Tian has your eyes and your features completely,”

Nui was so happy to hear this. She ushered the girls inside.

”Oh, one request... can I keep these two as pets?” she opened the tote bag showing the cat and the chicken inside.

”Of course you can.”

Getting permission from her, Juda let the cat and the chicken out of the bag. Bakbak slowly cruised through the hallway leading directly over to the small indoor garden area.

There it met the seven small quails who were grassing upon the small saplings.

Instantly, it ran to them and took them under its wings.

The small quails were more than happy to be under its warm body.

”Aww, would you look at that? She took them as her own children,” Zou Nui cooed, looking at the cute scene.

Juda chuckled heartily. ”She is a broody hen but sadly, none of her eggs were fertilised. I guess she wanted to have children so badly,”

With a sad look on her face, Zou Nui glanced towards Tian and Yue’s room. ”It’s motherly instinct.... I wish to hug Tian like that as well.... but I’m scared.. Scared she might reject me.”

Juda’s smile went down at this.

Lui, who was behind them, moved forward and hugged both their shoulders. ”Don’t worry, she is just being cranky. If she did not like her you, she would have let you know. Why don’t we go prepare the food now?”

”Yes yes....’ Nui led them both to the kitchen where the girls helped chop the vegetables and other stuffs.

Lunch was ready in just under an hour.

Freshly fried chicken doused in soy sauce and sesame seed was placed in the middle of the table while the other vegetables dishes, like cold cut cucumber salad, lettuce wrap and the bowl of rice was set in front of Zou Nui.

With her powers, she simply duplicated all the dishes so that it will be more than enough to eat heartily.

”Lunch is ready!”
