Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

”Wait Xiao Yue, wait,” Murong Shao ran after him but as he neared the stairwell, he paused in fear. The few corpses littered on the ground. ”Yue, stop right there. There must be a murderer here. We have to call the cops,”

Yue unhesitant stomped on the zombie corpse and walked up to the stairs.

”Did you just tamper with evidence? Ahhh fine I will find a way to talk the police out of this,” Murong Shao muttered, but the young boy walked up without a word.

”hey! Wait!” Murong Shao ran after him.

”Boss, wait. Something is off,” one of his bodyguards stopped him. He pointed his loaded gun at the glass door. ”Those people don’t seem right...”

Murong Shao moved close to the class door. The people outside were thumping on it and pushing with all their force.

Upon closer inspection, he could see blood all over them. Some even had their body parts missing.

”What the hell is this?” he backed away.

”It’s better to go up,” his body guards pulled him and they all ran up the stairs. ”Boss, we still haven’t been able to contact anyone. The phone lines are down ever since the meteor crashed. Everything is very weird sir.”

”Yes, it is.” Murong Shao mumbled. When he met Yue, just now, his clothes were stained red and there were even slashes of red on his face. It was as if he had been freshly killing people. He knew that his little cousin was fierce, but not to this extent. ’I need to ash Yue what’s going on,’

”Boss, look out,” his bodyguard pulled him back.

Shao stumbled back and leaned against the wall. In front of him were four to five dead corpses. They all had only one wound on their body. A small stab wound to their head.

”Boss, look here,” one of the bodyguards pointed to something on the ground. It was a small water trail. ”I noticed your cousin was carrying a bag of something wet. He must have left this trail,”

”Let’s go.” He ran up, following Yue’s water trail.

He watched as the water trails lead him to a certain room.

The bodyguards moved forward protectively.

Murong Shao stopped them. ”I’ll deal with this,”

He knocked softly. ”Xiao Yue, can we please talk?”

”.....”

”I know you are upset with me, but please... please let me talk to you. Let me explain myself. I am unlike my grandfather. I have something really important to give you Yue.”

”....”

A stellar silence still remained.

Sighing, he leaned his head on the door. ”Yue... just listen to me, at least. I know you that hate me but...”

The door threw open and placed a dagger to his throat..

His body guards moved swiftly to attack Yue but Murong Shao held out his hand, stopping them. ”Let’s talk Yue,”

”Shut your mouth!” he whisper shouted. ”Leave now! And stay quiet if you want to live,” he seemed anxious as he was looking around the corridor.

”What are you scared of?” Shao Held his hand.

His little cousin’s eyes trembled slightly. ”Everything...” a small tear escaped his beautiful eyes. ”I’m scared of losing everything... so leave... don’t take up any of her precious time.”

He let go of him and closed the door.

”I can help.” Shao whispered, pushing the door open. ”Let me help,”

”What can you do?” Yue chuckled, wiping his tears away. ”What can anyone do? We have no control over other’s lives,”

Shao gestured for his bodyguards to stay outside and walked in. ”Xiao Yue...”

”Just leave.... I don’t have time for you,” Zou Yue pulled off the bag of ice from his shirt. He also untied the ones from his back.

He left two of the bags in the corner for later.

With the two bags other bags in hand, he hurriedly ran into the bathroom.

”You here~” she giggled.

”yes..’ Yue smiled forcefully. ”This can make you feel better,” he unzipped the pillow covers and poured the half melted ice in the tub.

As soon as the ice touched the water, they melted instantly.

Yue’s eyes widened. He placed a hand inside. The water almost burned his skin off.

The water was literally boiling.

”why.. why is the water boiling? Why are you so hot?”

Tian ai raised her brows and giggled. ”I am your sister. You can’t say that dummy~” she deliriously pulled him close. ”Messy, you have tomato ketchup on your face,” she wiped at his chin roughly.

Yue pulled away. The spots she touched blistered.

”This might not be a normal fever,”

Yue had a small inkling of what this might be. But he was not sure. His heart was slightly relieved.

”Fever? I am good~” she sloshed around in the water. ”I am enjoying life. You know I have never taken a bath in a bathtub. Usually in an inflatable tub... this is a luxury... very luxurious.” She whispered with a soft smile on her face.

Zou Yue silently held her hand. Even though it burned his skin, he did not bother. ”Yes, you can enjoy this luxury when you come home with me. We have  a huge bath tub. Mum was complaining that it was too big for her comfort,”

”Huge? How huge?”

”Very, can accompany two,” he whispered, smiling at her.

”ohh.. You take a bath with him?” she pointed to the door way and giggled. ”He looks too..... bland though,”

Yue glanced back. Murong Shao stood by the door way with a confused look. ”I told you to get out,”

”I.. I’m sorry. Is that the real Tian ai?”

”Get out. She is taking a bath.” Yue glared at him.

”O-kay sorry.”

”Wait wait,” Tian ai waved at him. ”Come close,”

Yue glared at him and mouthed for him to leave.

But Murong Shao came close. ”I won’t look at anything.”

”I am wearing clothes idiot,” Tian pulled at her wet white t-shirt. ”Even wet they look chick!” she pointed to the black skull design on it. ”you.... why you wear ugly clothes. So ugly,”

Yue chuckled. ”He is ugly. I know of a person who is handsome though,”

”Who who?” like a gossiping old lady, she moved closer to him with her ears out.

”My... friend. Fan Xui. He is handsome.”

”ohh fan... like a ceiling fan. I like that. Had one in my room very noisy... too bad they don’t have it here,”

Murong Shao awkwardly stood there. He glanced at his reflection in the mirror nearby. He was wearing a gray turtleneck and a pair of white slacks. ’Do young people consider this ugly now? Damn...’ he touched his chin.

”Do I really look ugly?”

Yue scowled at him. ”Very ugly. Get out now. Or else I really might kill you,”

”He will kill you~ like that girl out the door, he will kill you~” Tian ai started to sing loudly.

Yue cupped her mouth. ”Why don’t we sing softly?”

They were in a bathroom and sound echoes so much in here. Even though he knew that most zombies can’t climb anything to save their lives, He did not want to attract unwanted zombie attentions.

”Okay~ he will kill you~” she whispered cutely.

Yue calmed her down and left the bathroom. Shao followed after him.

”Is she sick?”

”No, just getting her powers. Looks like she is a fire type.” Yue pulled the melting ice bag and swiftly took out some pieces. He tied it with a clean towel and went to the bathroom again.

Tian ai must be awakening her fire ability, but this doesn’t mean she was out of danger. If the fever burned too hot, she might really end up delirious.

At the very least, her head should remain slightly cold.

He placed the ice towel on her forehead.

”Ohh cool...” she squirmed around. ”I am tired....” she yawned softly.

”Shh Tian... go to sleep. I’m here. I’ll be right here,”

Tian smiled at him and closed her eyes.

After a long night of hard work, Tian Ai’s fever broke.
