Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

”Run!!” Tian dragged Yue back and ran.

Yue shook his mind awake and continued running with her. He glanced back, ready to attack whenever but.....

The zombies were just watching without moving.

’Did they not see us?’

They were making a lot of noise and, of course, they were moving so visibly how could they not see?

The zombies hesitantly moved towards the door. The glass door opened automatically from their weight.

Even so, they refused to enter.

’Then.... then why are they not moving in...’

”Tian, something is wrong....” he slowed down a bit.

”Just run,” she dragged him towards another shelf and shot the zombies vigorously. Lui and Juda joined them behind the shelf.

Tian swiftly shot the zombies, that were standing unmoving.

Zou Yue watched the twenty zombies with a deep frown. ’Why... why?’

Suddenly a small memory rose in his mind.....fear gripped his heart.

”Tian.... we have to leave this place,” he hurriedly gripped her hand.

”What’s the hell, man? We can’t leave with those things there....” she grumbled.

”No! This place... it has an even more powerful zombie!! That’s why they are not entering!! Please!!”

Tian peered at him with her eyes wide open. ”How...”

”I’ll explain later!!” he gripped her hand and Juda’s hand and pulled them both to the door. Lui followed after.

But the glass door right then closed.

A small trilling sound came from behind them. Nails scrapped against the hard metal creating a screeching sound.

Yue glanced up. A small bloody hand appeared from atop of one of the shelves.

”oh no..... oh my god.. we are in so much trouble....”

”What’s that?” Lui scowled.

A small baby crowed out of its hiding spot, trilling at them. Its face was grey with black veins running all over it. ”Trill~” It blinked its dark abyss like eyes.

”A baby zombie!” he unblinkingly watched it in fear. The zombies looked at him with interest, licking its blood-soaked hands.

His whole body trembled violently.

”Yue. It’s just a zombie...” Tian held his hands tightly.

The zombie baby was trilling softly, smacking its bloody lips..

”No..... it’s not. Don’t make any suddenly movements or sounds,” he whispered, slowly backed away pulling Tian along with him.

In his past life, he had met one of these. Man, it was such a headache to run from. The baby zombie were surprisingly was dexterous and can crawl or run very fast. Their small posture made it easy for them to bite your leg but harder for a grown adult to attack them with a knife or cold weapon.

Only guns will work.

The baby suddenly stopped trilling, looking at its clean hands. its small brows frowned deeply, making it look more malevolent.

”g-guns... take them out,” he held his gun with trembling hands. ”It’s too late to run. We have to fight. Lui, Juda go behind us and watch the door. If any slip through, shoot them.”

”Okay,”

He removed the safety of the gun. The zombie baby’s head snapped their way with its mouth wide open.

”Attack with all you’ve got!”

Yue shot at it.

”Screech!!!!!!” it screamed, crawling down on all fours. Like a lizard, it literally crawled horizontally down the shelves.

Its speed was too fast to even get a good aim.

’It’s a speed ability zombie!! Fuck! Fuck!!! We are so fucked!!!”

Yue and Tian shot at it continuously.

The zombie moved with precision, only moving rapidly to dodge their bullets, otherwise it was slowly moving in a usual speed of a toddler.

Its black eyes always looking their way seeping fear in their heart.

Behind him, he could feel the trembling back of Lui.

”Don’t let it close. Tian, use your fire!”

Tian tossed the gun his way and held out her hand. ”Fire...” she whispered

only a small spark came out.

”fire!!”

Again, a small blue spark came out.

”I-its....not working...”

Yu gritted his teeth. ’She exhausted her powers!! Darn it! Can we even run at this point?’

Suddenly, a small thought arose. He glanced back. The sensor’s of the door was placed as high as his waist. ’It can work...but we need to get rid of those outside,’

”Tian, go and shoot the ones at the door,”

”Why? This one is dangerous, right?”

”Yes, that’s why we need to run from it as fast as we can!” he continued shooting at the baby zombie.

It leapt from one shelf to another, stalking closer and closer to them.

”Tian! Faster!”

”I can’t shoot twenty in a second darn it!” she glanced at Lui and Juda. They too were shooting, but they rarely hot the target. ”You two shoot with precision. Aim for the head!”

”H-how..” Juda tremblingly whispered.

”Align your gun to your target and shoot,”

Tian pulled the gun from her bag and stepped out the door. She shot the three zombies that were nearing them. But suddenly she felt a figure creeping beside her.

She did not have to time to react to this attack.

’I’m gonna get bit again.....’

Her hands moved swiftly, pulling out the knife from her boot, ready to stab it. But a bullet pierced through its head.

Blood splattered all over her face.

”Tian! You okay?” Juda worriedly looked her way.

”good.” She glanced at her with a small smile. ”you improved.”

”Thanks...” Juda blushed softly.

Yue growled. ”Tian! Hurry!”

”I’m speeding up, darn it!” shooting was not going to do the trick. She ran out.

The zombies all grouped around her as soon as she exited the supermarket.

Tian started to slice through them with her left hand and shoot them with her right. in just a fraction of seconds, ten zombies were killed off.

Seeing this, Lui also dashed out. With the knife Yue lent them, she started to cut through anything that came her way.

Zombies could not match her speed or precision. They were completely useless against her.

Juda stayed back, shooting at any zombies that the two missed. After a few shots, she was able to shoot the zombies in their heads.

”TIAN!!!!”

”It’s done!!!

Yue shot at the baby zombie, that was a few feet away. ”Juda run out now!!”

Juda nodded and followed his command.

The baby zombies looked behind him at the three outside.

Yue shot at it to bring all the attention to him. ”Come at me, you ass!!!”

The glass door stayed to close behind him. ”Yue,” Tian shouted.

”No, stay out! No one comes close to the door!!” Yue smirked widely. ”you think you can eat me, huh! Think again..”

The baby trilled loudly, showing him its blood stained teeth.

Yue pulled off the cash counter, which was nailed to the ground. ”Eat this,” he tossed it at it and slid out the small gap of the door swiftly.

The sensor on either side of the door did not pick up his movement. The glass door closed.

”Knife!”

Lui tossed her knife his way. He caught it and jammed it on the glass door’s hinges.

The baby zombie crawled close and touched the glass with a confused look. It tapped on it softly and the glass started to crack.

”That’s our cue to leave!” Yue pulled Tian away from the door and ran.

Lui lifted Juda onto her back and sped up to them.

Tian glanced at his hands with a frown. ”Dirty...” she pulled her hand out and wiped it on her shirt.

Yue flinched back a little. ”Sorry...”

”No, I’m dirty..” Tian awkwardly wiped the blood off her face whist running.

”No way, it’s fine,” Yue took her hands in his once again. ”I thought you hated me for a second...”

”I don’t...”

”Then do you love me?” he glanced at her with a wide smirk.

”Not yet...” her ears turned red instantly.

”Aww I was expecting undying love from you,” he giggled softly, pulling her to the other side of the street.

The abandoned house that he was eyeing previously when he stayed in the hotel was very close. He unilaterally decided it was the best to rest for now.

Tian’s powers were yet to be replenished and that baby zombie was super close. Hiding was the best option.

They climbed to the first floor.

Zou Yue swiftly picked the lock, and they swiftly ran into the house, locking the doors behind them.

”That thing can climb,” Juda whispered ever so softly.

”Yes, I know. but this is our safest bet..” Yue silently walked to the window and glanced out. Just at the moment, the baby zombie shattered the glass door crawling out.

Right as it came out, the other zombies that were lurking around started to move away.

’Even zombie’s have a hierarchy. The strong gets all the food.’

He gestured for them to come close.

They watched as the baby zombie leap on one of the zombie and tore its head off, eating black chunks of meat.

”What is it doing?” Tian whispered into his ear.

”Eating its brains. Though it’s useless now....”

Lui tsked. ”There is no crystal in their head.”

Yue looked at her in shock. ”H-how do you know about that?”

”That book said so.” Juda pulled off her bag and took out two books carefully. ”These were distributed by our teachers just a few days before the apocalypse. We were supposed to do a project on survival. You can have it,”

Yue blinked as he held the two hardcover books. ’It’s my book?! It was published? When?’

”How many copies did you guys get?”

”Everyone got a copy.”

Zou Yue blinked even more. ’How much did my publication agency spend on these!! Wow! They have made a great contribution to humankind!!’
