Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Zou Yue patiently wiped Tian Ai’s forehead. Her body was starting to get abnormally hot. It was not a temperature that human body can handle.

He placed his hand inside the water. ’It’s too hot... I need to lower the temperature,’

”hey don’t be a pervert, take your hand out,” Tian Ai chuckled deliriously.

Zou Yue worriedly caressed her head. Her fever was worsening as time passed by. Now she was on a stage where she acted like a completely different person.

He squeaked the towel, wetted it and placed it on her forehead once again.

Tian suddenly caught his hands. She giggled, nuzzling cutely against his wet palm. ”Your hand ...cool...”

Zou Yue’s frown deepened. ’This can’t doo I need to do something else to lower her temperature,’

”Tian, wait here. I’ll be right back,” he stood up.

”wait~” she pulled his hands with a loving smile on her face. ”You look so cute when you cry.. is that why you shed so much tears you Niagara.”

Yue chuckled, wiping his tears away. ”You are cute too.” he pulled her hands out. ”I’ll be back okay,”

”Don’t go~” she held out her hand. The water droplets on her hand instantly vaporised.

”I’ll be out just a moment, yes,” he ran out to the bed. The room had four pillows. He pulled off the pillowcase and rolled it onto his neck. With the newly sharpened knife in his hand, he hurriedly walked out.

Right not Tian’s body was too hot. Her body was heating up the water. He needed a way to cool down the water. Earlier, when he was in the kitchen, he noticed an ice cube maker in there. If he could snag a few bags full, it might really help.

The electricity was out, but the ice machine might have maintained the temperature for a while.

At least he hoped so.

Yue breathed slowly as he walked over to the stairwell. He opened the door slowly. He could hear subtle growling sounds and footsteps.

Initial stage zombies did not have the ability to climb the stairs. Their muscles were too rigid for that. But there were some exceptions. The zombies that came into their room were already starting to rot completely.

These zombies were the first of the few to shed their skin completely and became a skeletal form of zombie. They were very very very dangerous and will kill anything easily with their bones alone. They rarely eat human flesh, but the infection they cause is too strong.

’Tian Ai got scratched by those, darn it. Why those ugly skeletal zombies..... why....’ he cried mentally.

He ran down the stairs as softly as he could. Few of the zombies heard him and slowly moved towards him. Their movement were awkward and very slow.

Yue slashed them down and ran down.

Leaving them be like this could end up being a danger to him. In a few days these zombies will learn their motor skills and will start climbing the stairs easily.

Any zombie he came across, he killed it off.

On the ground floor, he could hear a subtle shout for help to come from somewhere. It was from the elevator. There were at least three people in there.

”Is someone out there? Please! We have been stuck here for a long time!”

The voice sounded very familiar.

He decided to step away. ’I can’t save anyone. The minute I spend saving them I can spend it on saving Tian,’

”please.. please sir. Can you open this door for us? I can give you all the cash you want,”

Yue frowned. ’cash doesn’t mean a thing,’

As minutes passed by, he could seriously feel the familiarity of that voice.

’I should walk away from unnecessary trouble,’

He ran back into the kitchen, directly to the ice machine. A few zombies loitered here and there. But they were not that close to him. He swiftly threw open the box and started to fill his pillow cases with ice.

The hotel staff must have poured salt over it so the ice was all clumped together, but they did not melt even a bit. He used the ice shovel and scooped some.

But the ice shovel in his hands broke apart.

’Shit,’

He tossed it away and punched the full sheet of ice. I shattered into smaller pieces. He hurriedly picked hand full and filled up his bag.

The four pillow covers he got were barely enough to fit all.

’This should be enough.’ he zipped the bags.

One, he placed it inside his shirt. Another he tied it to his back, the rest two he carried it in on hand holding the knife in his right one.

Zou Yue killed the two zombies lingering little further away and walked out. He glanced at the smaller room on the side with a frown. Just a few hours ago Eh helped a few unconscious people inside, but none of them seemed to come out.

’something must have happened.’ He shook his head and walked away.

”hey I know you are out there!” the person inside the elevator loudly shouted.

Yue paused and glanced out the main door. Few of the zombies glanced his way and were slowly hobbling close. ’Shit,’ He hurriedly walked to it and closed it tight. it was a flimsy glass door. It might not hold out very long.

’We might have to change places sooner.’

”Please! Please, just open this a bit. I’m not asking much,”

Yue sighed loudly. The ice on his back was melting quickly. ’if this guy continuously shouts like this, he might attract a lot more zombies. Sooner it will become a horde.’

He hurriedly walked to kitchen. Took out a few knives and came back. He inserted them into the space between the doors and pried them open.

The knife snapped halfway, and he was only able to get it an inch apart. He glanced at the broken knife in wonder. ’Wait, this is an opportunity to test out my powers. If I really have strength ability or not,’

Zou Yue squatted comfortably and wedged his fingers into the small space. With brute force, he pulled them apart.. The door screeched loudly and broke off the hinges.

”oh thank you so much....” the person paused.

Yue froze as well. Inside the elevator was none other than his cousin Murong Shao.

’I really shouldn’t have opened this fucking door.’ he gripped the door and tried to close it.

”Wait wait Yue, don’t.” Murong gripped onto the door and climbed out. Following him were two suited men. They looked like his bodyguard or something.

”Thank you so much Xiao Yue,” he held out his hand with a kind smile on his face.

Yue stood up, holding the ice bags tightly. ”I regret saving you. Don’t ever show up in front of me. Your family disgusts me to the core.”

He ran away without looking back.
