My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 322: Chapter 322: The Mobile ’War Fortress’

”Report! A T4 Zerg Nest Mothership energy signal has been detected at the edge of our T3 Phoenix’s radar scanning range!” reported the radar crew member.

Zhao Chen stared intently at the Zerg Nest Mothership before him—a terrifying entity he had previously only seen in data and image archives at the Academy. Throughout the history of the Stellar Glory Empire, fewer than thirty of these had ever appeared!

T4!

Although this was merely a Biological Starship, it represented combat capability at the T4 Bio-technology Level.

”Mobilize all observation equipment on the T3 Phoenix to scan and calculate the combat data of this T4 Zerg Nest Mothership!” Zhao Chen immediately issued the command.

While there was some official data from the Stellar Glory Empire, due to their rarity, such intelligence was scarce.

To annihilate a T4 Zerg Nest Mothership, it was essential to gather more intelligence on the enemy vessel.

Deputy Captain Red Eye understood Commander Zhao Chen’s intent. She promptly assigned a dedicated department on the starship to calculate the relevant data for this T4 Zerg Nest Mothership.

”Report, based on our observations and calculations:

The Bio-plasma Cannons mounted on this T4 Zerg Nest Mothership have a firing range that meets the Galactic Alliance’s ultra-long-range standard for starship weaponry!

However, their power diminishes relatively with increased distance.

Their maximum destructive power likely falls within the medium to long-range bracket!

The firepower is extremely terrifying!

Currently, none of the starships in our Fierce Dragon Fleet can withstand a direct hit from one of these cannons alone!

But perhaps due to its massive ship hull, its speed is very slow,” the crew member reported.

Zhao Chen narrowed his eyes.

Slow speed, long range, high damage.

This was essentially a mobile war fortress!

Zhao Chen clenched his fist.

Although he desperately wanted to destroy a T4 Zerg Nest Mothership, the reality was that with the current combat capability of his Fierce Dragon Fleet alone, achieving this was simply impossible.

”Report, the third defense line may not hold much longer. It could collapse within ten minutes at most. I am preparing to proceed with the next phase of combat deployment,” Charlotte reported to Commander Zhao Chen at this moment.

The appearance of the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership had not only torn a breach in the Stargate’s third defense line but also dealt a severe blow to the morale of the Stargate Garrison Fleet.

Faced with such a terrifying stellar behemoth, they couldn’t help but question: Was defending this Stargate truly necessary?

Because... it simply couldn’t be held!

”Fortunately, its speed is not fast. And a Bio-plasma Cannon of this power likely cannot be fired multiple times in quick succession.

Charlotte, continue executing your combat deployment. I will handle other arrangements!

But remember, you must remain vigilant against attacks from that enemy T4 Zerg Nest Mothership.

If any of our starships faces imminent danger, prioritize the safety of the crew above all else. If necessary, abandon ship!” Zhao Chen stated firmly.

On this principle, Zhao Chen was unwavering!

Starships were undoubtedly valuable, but in Zhao Chen’s view, the crew was even more important.

These were elite crew members he had invested time and effort into training.

Perhaps in the eyes of commanders from lord fleets or second and third-tier Imperial Forces, crew members might be seen as expendable—simply replaceable through recruitment.

But Zhao Chen did not share that belief.

The strength of a fleet depends not only on the starships themselves but also on the indispensable role of the crew!

Even if you have the best car, how far and how fast can you go if you fill it with low-quality fuel?

”Understood.” Charlotte gazed at the commander through the video window, sensing the firmness in his words despite the distance.

Staring at the battlefield before her, Charlotte decisively issued the order: ”In ten minutes, the entire fleet will withdraw from the third defense line and retreat to the fourth defense line!

Repeat, in ten minutes, the entire fleet will withdraw from the third defense line and retreat to the fourth defense line!”

Meanwhile, Zhao Chen contacted the eldest son of Morton.

”Commander Zhao Chen, sir.” The eldest son of Morton was clearly not in good shape, with lingering fear still visible in his eyes.

He had personally witnessed the terrifying combat capability of the T4 Zerg Nest Mothership.

”The third defense line has reached its limit. In ten minutes, my fleet will fully retreat to the fourth defense line.

I need you to order your defending fleet to withdraw at the same time, follow my fleet to the fourth defense line, and reorganize there!” Zhao Chen stated.

”Withdrawing is not a problem... but shouldn’t we leave some ships behind to cover the retreat?” the eldest son of Morton asked, puzzled.

If the third defense line fully retreated, it would undoubtedly expose the fleet’s rear to the Swarm, potentially leading to devastating consequences.

”Don’t worry about that. I’ve already made arrangements on my end.

Please trust me and my fleet.” Zhao Chen had already planned accordingly and would explain if pressed further.

”I trust you, Commander.” The eldest son of Morton chose to place his unconditional trust in Zhao Chen.

He had witnessed the combat capability of this man’s fleet firsthand.

Without this fleet, which had descended like divine intervention, not only would his third defense line have failed to hold for nearly an hour, but the Stargate would likely have fallen by now.

Since they had come here to fight alongside him at great risk, he would trust them completely!

Zhao Chen grew even more appreciative of the eldest son of Morton, as this saved him the trouble of further persuasion.

Ten minutes later, almost in an instant, all starships on the third defense line began their retreat.

The Swarm, now free from the constraints of firepower, naturally seized the opportunity, surging forward like a black tidal wave.

The scene resembled a fleet on a planetary sea being chased and about to be swallowed by a hundred-meter-high tsunami.

”Phantom Stinger Squad, deploy!” Charlotte shouted through the command system.

”I’ve been waiting for this!” Zhao Wan’er, standing on the bridge of the T3 Phantom Sting-class Light Interstellar Stealth Bomber, wore a confident smile.

Simultaneously, five T3 Phantom Sting-class Light Interstellar Stealth Bombers emerged from stealth, appearing behind the original third defense line.

Their position now squarely blocked the path between the retreating interstellar fleet and the advancing Swarm.

The eldest son of Morton was startled by this sight.

Five starships had been right under his nose, yet he hadn’t detected them at all.

”Interstellar stealth bombers? Such a niche type of starship. But how can just five of them cover the retreat?” he wondered aloud.

If the retreating starships could not reach the position of the fourth defense line and reorganize their combat formation,

it would be like a collapsing dam—the entire Stargate defense line would crumble!

But what happened next made him retract his doubts.

And elevated that man to a godlike status in his mind!

Five T3 Phantom Sting-class Light Interstellar Stealth Bombers, in an extremely short time, launched all the stellar bombs, stellar torpedoes, and stellar missiles they carried.

Igniting the entire oncoming Swarm.

As if turning the original ”tidal wave” into a sea of fire!
