My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 140: Chapter 140: The Zerg Swarm Devours the Ship

Four stellar missiles collided with four biological plasma cannons, exploding!

Ripples of energy spread out in waves.

The pulse lasers from the sixteen medium pulse laser secondary guns also accurately struck sixteen much thinner streams of biological plasma fire.

Those were clearly attacks from T1 Hive Motherships.

In terms of size and thickness compared to a T3 Nest Mothership’s attack, the difference was like that between a toothpick and a bottle of cola.

Simultaneously, the seventy-two medium close-in defense guns firing at full power intercepted a large number of the biological plasma cannon shots.

Nevertheless, a few plasma bolts still broke through the interception and struck the starship armor of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser.

”Warning! Star shield under attack...”

”Warning! Starship port armor under attack! Port-side hull armor strength remaining at 93%!”

”Warning! Starship starboard armor under attack! Starboard-side hull armor strength remaining at 98%.”

”Warning!...”

These toothpick-like attacks were like mere raindrops against the hull armor of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser.

On the bridge, Zhao Chen didn’t even feel any vibration.

”Interception rate: 93%.” Zhao Chen looked at a figure quickly compiled by a nearby crew member and showed an appreciative expression.

However, Deputy Captain Charlotte shook her head with some frustration, seemingly not very satisfied with that number.

Looking at the stellar shield energy value next.

After that wave of attacks, the stellar shield energy value had dropped to ’56%’!

This was the difference in attack intensity between T2 Hive Motherships, T1 Hive Motherships, and a T3 Nest Mothership.

So many attacks combined still couldn’t match the terrifying power of just two shots from a T3 Nest Mothership.

”Report! The Zerg swarm has breached the warning distance from our ship! Furthermore, our forward path is blocked by the swarm!” a crew member reported nervously.

If one looked ahead of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser now, it was almost a sea of ’darkness.’

The temporary small gaps created by the ’friendly fire’ from those biological plasma cannon attacks had been filled in again within moments by the dark, overwhelming Zerg swarm.

With just the firepower configuration of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser alone, it was impossible to completely suppress such a massive number of Zerg.

From the outside, it looked as if a giant black maw of the abyss was about to swallow the entire starship whole!

Hangar

”It’s over! It’s over! The biggest problem has emerged—insufficient firepower! Insufficient firepower!” One professor-instructor was hopping anxiously.

Another professor-instructor sighed and said, ”The most taboo situation when dealing with Interstellar Zerg is insufficient firepower.

Against Interstellar Zerg, you must have enough firepower to suppress them, maintain a combat zone, and continuously whittle down their numbers.

Once firepower is insufficient and the Zerg swarm closes in, it spells utter disaster for a starship!”

A female student crouched in a corner, beginning to wail loudly: ”Waaah... Even after escaping the planet, we still can’t escape these damned Zerg... Waaah... I want to go home... I want my mom...”

A somber mood began to spread among the students. Some close friends comforted each other, while best friends hugged and cried together.

The two boys who had been frightened into a princess carry by the Zerg head earlier, having no other friends to console them, happened to lock eyes at that moment...

”Senior Su Lan... are we... really not going to make it out?” Xue Xiaoxiao said fearfully, her arms wrapped around Senior Su Lan’s waist.

Senior Su Lan recalled the scene on the planet during the battle among the interstellar wreckage, when that man had resolutely stepped in front of her to face the T2 Zerg Spider.

And the moment he descended from the sky, standing on the shoulder of the black mecha.

She felt an inexplicable sense of security. Stroking Xue Xiaoxiao’s head, she said firmly, ”I believe Zhao Chen... will definitely get us out of here!”

Zhao Wan’er, holding the hands of Xue Xiaoxiao and Senior Su Lan beside them, also said with conviction, ”I believe in my brother!”

”Hahaha... no matter how strong your brother is, can he really be stronger than those Zerg outside? Don’t kid yourselves. We’re all just waiting to die.

It’s just a different place to die, that’s all.” Zhou Min, sitting in a corner like a beggar, chuckled foolishly.

Teacher Qin looked at the grim atmosphere in the hangar, feeling helpless.

She could only turn her gaze once more to the pitch-black ’Zerg Swarm’ outside the viewport.

Could that young man... lead them through this ’Zerg Swarm’?

Bridge

Deputy Captain Charlotte and Zhao Chen almost simultaneously glanced at the weapon module interface beside them, which displayed the status of all starship weapons.

The top two options were highlighted in red.

These were the Blizzard-class Heavy Cluster Laser Bow Cannon and the 2500mm Caliber Medium Electromagnetic Cannon Main Gun.

Blizzard-class Heavy Cluster Laser Bow Cannon: Reset energy storage requires 200 seconds.

2500mm Caliber Medium Electromagnetic Cannon Main Gun: Reset and reload requires 20 seconds.

Deputy Captain Charlotte stood with a solemn expression, her eyes fixed on the Zerg Swarm ahead. She decisively ordered, ”Release the starship engine limiter, increase speed to 300 knots stellar speed!

Close Defense Cannons, fire at full capacity! Stellar Drones, intercept T3 Self-detonating Beetles and T3 Corrupted Wyverns at full strength!

Fire one stellar missile each at four positions ahead along the starship’s course, at ten-second intervals!

Sixteen secondary cannons, await my command to fire!

Four main cannons, stand by at all times!”

Secretary Officer Lilith, watching nearby, nervously clenched her fists. At this moment, it was as if all the spotlight on this stage was focused on Charlotte.

In that instant, the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser seemed to merge as one with this White Tiger General!

Four stellar missiles were launched first, exploding at the predetermined locations set by Charlotte, clearing a wide-open path ahead for the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser.

Meanwhile, the Close Defense Cannons continued firing at full capacity, preventing the surrounding Swarm from approaching.

The Stellar Drones also engaged in constant mobile combat, safeguarding the ship hull. Any Zerg units that latched onto the hull were swiftly and precisely cleared away by the drones.

Suddenly, several explosive vortices appeared around the starship. The shockwaves even struck the hull, causing Zhao Chen to hear the impact and the entire bridge to shake several times.

Fortunately, there was no major damage.

Those were T3 Self-detonating Beetles!

At the same time, Zhao Chen saw on the screen a T3 Corrupted Wyvern breaking through the firepower interception, opening its maw and biting directly into the Starship Armor, attempting to use its corrosive acid to bore a hole through it.

But the next second, a Stellar Drone that was originally preparing to return to the starship drone hangar for ammunition resupply dove straight down, crashing into the T3 Corrupted Wyvern and exploding.

The green fluid of the T3 Corrupted Wyvern splattered onto the starship’s paint.

”Report, the four Main Cannons are ready!” a Starship Crew member shouted.

Charlotte’s pupils dilated as she barked an order: ”Aim all four Main Cannons at the position ahead of the Bow, activate timed detonation with a five-second delay between each!

Fire!”

The four 2500-caliber Main Cannons fired four Shells one after another, creating four explosive vortices in front of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser.

They forcibly carved out a path for the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser.

At this moment...
