My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 86: Chapter 86: It’s Actually an Interstellar Frigate?

”Student Zhao Chen, why are you suddenly asking about this?” Vice Dean Hong asked curiously.

Zhao Chen smiled. ”It’s nothing. I’m just curious about how my sister managed to skip a grade back then.”

”I see. Your sister’s talent is indeed remarkable. With proper training and more combat experience, she will definitely become an outstanding Fleet Commander!” Vice Dean Hong specifically mentioned ”Fleet Commander” rather than ”Captain,” which clearly showed the Academy’s appreciation for Zhao Wan’er’s talent.

”Speaking of which, Student Zhao Chen, your talent isn’t bad either. It’s just a shame you chose the wrong major. Relying solely on your own ability to assemble three old starships into a new Assembled Starship and even defeat a T2 White Eagle-class Light Interstellar Cruiser—that’s truly impressive. If you’re willing, I can help you change your major to the Starship Engineering Technology Major,” Vice Dean Hong suggested.

”I’m still more interested in piloting and commanding starships,” Zhao Chen declined the offer.

More than half an hour passed quickly.

A Stellar Battlecruiser slowly entered the Starship Duel Arena.

Everyone watched the Stellar Battlecruiser intently.

Vice Dean Hong, standing nearby, spoke up. ”The T2 Purple Rose-class Medium Interstellar Battlecruiser is a T2 starship developed and released by the Hurricane Consortium in recent years. Although it’s only a medium-sized starship, its firepower and armor strength are not inferior to heavy starships of the same type. In previous starship duels, even though the T2 Firecrow-class Heavy Interstellar Battlecruiser is of the same class, there was still a significant performance gap between them. As far as I know, the price of the T2 Purple Rose-class Medium Interstellar Battlecruiser is as high as 11 million Star Coins.”

”11 million Star Coins? Good heavens! That’s enough to buy a T2 Interstellar Battleship or a T2 carrier starship, isn’t it?” Li Wei was shocked.

Vice Dean Hong chuckled and shook his head. ”This is a starship built entirely on wealth, with extremely low cost-effectiveness. In reality, very few people actually purchase this model. However, due to its elegant Ship Hull design, it has become a symbol for noble young ladies. Typically, only such noble young ladies are willing to buy this expensive, low-cost-effectiveness but aesthetically pleasing starship. You know, Zhao Wan’er’s T2 Firecrow-class Heavy Interstellar Battlecruiser costs less than 8 million Star Coins—nearly 50% cheaper.”

Looking at the footage transmitted by the drones, the T2 Purple Rose-class Medium Interstellar Battlecruiser indeed had a beautiful appearance, with Purple Rose patterns even engraved on its Starship Armor. At first glance, it looked like a piece of artwork.

”But against Student Zhao Chen’s Zero Blizzard, the advantage should still lie with the Zero Blizzard,” Vice Dean Hong continued.

In the duel arena’s live feed, a very ”mini” circular starship appeared before everyone’s eyes.

”What kind of starship is that? How dare it violate the rules and enter the duel arena without permission!” Vice Dean Hong frowned, displeased with this oversight in management.

”That’s the starship my sister is piloting,” Zhao Chen dropped a bombshell beside him.

Xue Xiaoxiao and Li Wei stared at Zhao Chen in disbelief.

Vice Dean Hong was stunned for a long moment before saying in surprise, ”Student Zhao Chen... if... I’m not mistaken, that should be an interstellar frigate...”

”T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate,” Zhao Chen announced the name of the starship.

But those around him didn’t care whether it was a Black Rhinoceros or not; all they knew was that it was an interstellar frigate.

”Hahaha... look, that’s the starship from North Star Starship Military Academy, and it’s actually an interstellar frigate!”

”An interstellar frigate dueling a stellar battlecruiser—have the North Star students’ brains been filled with engine oil?”

”If they didn’t want to win, they should’ve just said so. No need to humiliate themselves like this. I’m really dying of laughter.”

Seeing this scene, the students of Tianyao Noble Starship Military Academy burst into laughter, relentlessly mocking the students of North Star Starship Military Academy, with Zhao Chen naturally being their primary target.

However, they only dared to shout from a distance, as this guy had just proven he wasn’t afraid to throw punches.

The students of North Star Starship Military Academy, on the other hand, wore expressions as if they had just eaten something foul, their faces grim.

They all stared at Zhao Chen in disbelief.

They had assumed that when Zhao Chen sent his sister into battle, he would be using the Zero Blizzard.

Instead, what took the field was a T2 interstellar frigate.

”Zhao Chen... you...” Li Wei swallowed hard, unsure how to advise his friend. Ever since the incident with the Zero Blizzard, Zhao Chen’s actions had become increasingly unpredictable.

”Just watch,” Zhao Chen said, crossing his arms, a faint smile playing on his lips.

His decision to deploy the T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate had been carefully planned.

On the way here, Zhao Chen had reviewed the starship duel records and learned about the opponent’s starship—a T2 Purple Rose-class medium interstellar battlecruiser, along with its weapon systems.

Its primary weapon system consisted of 10 T2-level double-linked 200mm medium magnetic rail cannons, capable of firing once every 30 seconds.

Magnetic rail cannons are non-ballistic weapons that use electromagnetic technology to accelerate metal shells.

They have a high rate of fire and exceptional accuracy within their effective range. However, due to the lack of guidance systems, their hit rate drops sharply at maximum range.

Thus, starships equipped with this type of weapon must be capable of maintaining close engagement distances with enemy vessels.

They are typically installed on stellar cruisers and interstellar frigates.

The firepower of the T2 Purple Rose-class medium interstellar battlecruiser’s magnetic rail cannons is formidable against ordinary T2-class starships, especially considering the ship was built at a cost of 11 million Star Coins.

Unfortunately, this time, it was facing the T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate.

Even if all its attacks were concentrated on a single section of starship armor, it would require a precise bombardment lasting twenty minutes to inflict serious damage to that armor.

Ten minutes...

Leaving aside the unlikelihood of such a coincidence, the T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate would never give it twenty minutes.

At this moment, the T2 Purple Rose-class medium interstellar battlecruiser and the T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate quickly moved into their designated combat positions. When the two starships were compared side by side,

It was like comparing a minnow to a whale.

The T2 Purple Rose-class Medium Interstellar Battlecruiser has a ship hull of 310 meters, but what about the T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate?

110 meters, with a semi-elliptical, rhinoceros-shaped hull structure.

”Such a small ship isn’t even as big as the main gun of the Zero Blizzard,” Xue Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but complain beside him. Not only did she not see the massive cannon she had hoped for, but it was also such a small thing. She was very dissatisfied.

Zhao Chen said from the side, ”Sometimes bigger isn’t necessarily better. Being tough enough is also important.”
