My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 72: Chapter 72: A Miniature Armored Beast?

[Mission Content: Accept and complete the bounty mission issued by the lord of the Arctic Fox System

Mission Difficulty: C-grade

Task Reward: Five task points and 1000 points

Special Reward: One random reward will be issued based on mission completion rate

Special Reward Completion Rate: 100% completion for the safe evacuation and dispersal of civilians from asteroid P331.

Mission completed. One task reward and one special reward can be claimed.]

It seems the completion rate is determined based on the data of the safe evacuation of civilians from asteroid P331, as all civilians on asteroid P331 have been safely evacuated.

Zhao Chen focused his mind and claimed these two mission rewards.

[Task reward claimed: Five task points and 1000 points]

[Special reward claimed: Obtained the technical blueprint for the T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate]

He actually obtained a starship technical blueprint!

This was beyond Zhao Chen’s expectations.

The starship type is an interstellar frigate, but judging by the name, this is no ordinary interstellar frigate.

After claiming these two rewards, Zhao Chen’s own system interface data became much more ’abundant’.

”Let’s study this interstellar frigate first.”

[Black Rhinoceros-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate

Starship Type: Interstellar Frigate

Technology Level: T2

Hull Armor Strength: 3000 units - 5000 units

Cruising Speed: 35 knot stellar speed

Warp Drive: Level Four Warp Engine

Captain: 110 meters

Mass: 120,000 tons

Crew Complement: 20 people

Starship Weapons: 50 T2-grade 300mm caliber heavy close-in defense cannons (one shot per salvo, no cooldown time)

Special Capability: Short-range assault mode]

An image of this starship’s model appeared in Zhao Chen’s mind. It was a hull shaped somewhat like a rhinoceros curled up, with an overall structure resembling an irregular ellipse.

Moreover, this hull was exceptionally small. Among the T2 starships currently on the market, it would be almost impossible to find one smaller than it.

Don’t underestimate this compact starship. Its hull armor is forged from the hardest metal available at the T2 level, using a special combination method, making its armor strength a full ten times higher than that of the Zero Blizzard!

This can be inferred from its title.

’Heavy Armor’ essentially means heavy armor.

The hull armor at its weakest point has a defensive strength of 3000 units, while the most fortified areas boast a defensive strength of 5000 units.

If it’s hard to find a T2 starship smaller than it, it’s even harder to find a T2 starship with higher hull armor strength.

Therefore, the defining characteristic of this starship is one thing: rugged and durable, the top choice for travel when you need to withstand a beating!

Normally, with such heavy armor equipped, its speed would inevitably be affected.

Indeed, that is exactly the case. In its standard state, the T2 Black Rhinoceros is not fast, but it possesses a special capability known as the ’short-range assault mode,’ which allows it to accelerate rapidly in an extremely short time.

This enables the T2 Black Rhinoceros to appear at the precise location where friendly ships need it when necessary!

To put it bluntly, this is a starship tank!

Additionally, it has another advantage: its unit construction cost is only one hundred thousand Star Coins.

The construction cost of a single T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship could be used to build a full fifteen T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigates!

It couldn’t be more cost-effective!

Zhao Chen eagerly contacted Charlotte on the Zero Blizzard: ”Charlotte, is the Zero Blizzard currently capable of warp navigation?”

”Warp navigation? Are we preparing to return to the Arctic Fox Starport? As for the Zero Blizzard’s condition, warp navigation back to the Arctic Fox Starport shouldn’t be a problem,” Charlotte replied.

”Good, then prepare. We’re returning to the Arctic Fox Starport!” Zhao Chen couldn’t wait to use the T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ship still docked in the starship workshop at the Arctic Fox Starport to construct this T2 Black Rhinoceros-class interstellar heavy assault frigate.

”Yes,” Charlotte began making arrangements.

On both starship bridges, orders were issued to enter warp navigation state within ten minutes, with the entire fleet switching to deep-sea mode.

As the Captain, Deputy Captain, and Secretary Officer, Zhao Chen and the other two naturally had to wait until last to enter their hibernation pods.

”Charlotte, that was truly a brilliant battle,” Zhao Chen praised Charlotte again without hesitation as he looked at her on the video feed.

”It was mainly thanks to this starship. Without such extreme speed and the ship hull armor of an interstellar battleship, my unconventional tactics would never have been possible to execute,” Charlotte said sincerely.

Secretary Officer Lilith couldn’t help but ask, ”But why did you choose to break through from the front of the battlefield in the opposite direction at the end, instead of continuing to accelerate and break through toward the other side?”

Lilith voiced her confusion.

Charlotte explained, ”Removing the starship engine limiter and maintaining maximum speed cannot be sustained for too long.

If I had kept the Zero Blizzard heading in that direction, problems would likely have arisen in less than ten minutes. At that point, the starship’s speed might not even have been able to maintain its standard cruising speed.

Being caught by the pursuing Swarm would only have been a matter of time.

So, from the very beginning, the Zero Blizzard only had one direction for breaking through.”

Hearing this, Lilith suddenly understood. It turned out that what seemed like reckless actions were actually carefully planned by Charlotte from the start.

”However, I never expected that we would end up ramming and destroying that T2 Hive Mothership. That thing’s head wasn’t very sturdy,” Charlotte mentioned this incident, finding it quite unexpected herself.

At the time, she had only intended to use the impact to push the enemy aside and continue escaping. Who would have thought it would just keel over and die?

A T2 Hive Mothership being destroyed by ramming from a starship—if word got out, it would probably be quite embarrassing for the Zerg.

Zhao Chen knew better. Such coincidences didn’t just happen in this world. It was most likely due to his ’luck aura’ that the Zero Blizzard had performed so remarkably.

”Captain, here are the images of the P331 asteroid captured by the deep-space telescope,” Secretary Officer Lilith suddenly reported.

Currently, Zhao Chen’s Fierce Dragon Fleet (which had been posing as the Black Dragon Fleet during the mission) and the Imperial Fleet had both begun their withdrawal.

Although the Swarm continued to pursue them relentlessly, they were now completely out of reach.

The P331 asteroid, located along their inevitable path, became their target. A massive swarm of Interstellar Zergs surged toward the ground base on the asteroid.

The structures and facilities of the ground base were destroyed, but the Swarm found no trace of the Human Race.

Zhao Chen watched the scene with a somber expression. If they hadn’t intervened, the fate of this asteroid would have been entirely different.

A living hell.

The entire asteroid would have become a Hatching Ground for the Zergs, breeding more Hive Motherships and swarm combat units, using it as a springboard to engulf the entire Arctic Fox System.

The Interstellar Zergs were like a spark in a grassland—if not extinguished in time, they would bring catastrophic consequences.

”Report: Out of the 102 Starship Crew members, 100 have already entered their hibernation pods,” Secretary Officer Lilith informed Zhao Chen on the dimly lit bridge.

”Let’s prepare for hibernation as well,” Zhao Chen said, lying down in his hibernation pod. A faintly fragrant liquid began to envelop his body, and he seemed to envision himself at the center of a vast interstellar fleet, each Starship’s hull adorned with the Fierce Dragon Insignia.

Simultaneously, the two Starships entered Warp Navigation State, disappearing into the dark void of space as they headed back the way they had come.
