My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 70: Chapter 70: The Triumphant Return of Zero Blizzard

The starships of the Imperial Fleet spared no effort in pouring their firepower onto a single point, forcibly tearing open a breach.

But how could the Swarm allow the culprit that had destroyed three of their T2 Hive Motherships to escape so easily? They began to seal off the area, forming an encirclement with the Zergs tasked with pursuing that starship.

A pincer attack from both sides!

At this moment, they even abandoned the Imperial Fleet as their target. In the Swarm Consciousness, there was only one command: destroy that damned starship at all costs.

”Report, the breach has been blocked again!” the female adjutant said nervously.

Commander Chu Xuan clenched her fists. ”Continue the assault. No matter what, we must let that starship break through!”

In Chu Xuan’s heart, that starship was now equivalent to a hero.

How could they stand by and watch a heroic starship be surrounded and devoured by the Swarm?

But at this moment, no matter how their starships attacked, they simply could not blast open a breach.

And now, Zero Blizzard was approaching this Zerg battle line.

Given the current condition of Zero Blizzard’s ship hull, it was absolutely incapable of withstanding another round of damage from charging through the Swarm.

Commander Chu Xuan bit her lip lightly, feeling a pang of guilt.

The female adjutant sighed deeply. What a pity for that starship...

Suddenly, a dazzling light erupted within the Swarm’s defensive line, engulfing a large number of Zergs and clearing out that space entirely.

Immediately afterward, the already-prepared T2 Larval Bee-class Light Stellar Drones and T2 Killer Bee-class Medium Stellar Drones surged forward, attacking the Zergs around the breach to prevent them from sealing it again.

”That’s the main artillery shell from that interstellar missile ship! They set it for timed detonation and precisely calculated the explosion distance!” Commander Chu Xuan, now able to see directly through the breach in the Swarm battle line, spotted Zero Blizzard speeding toward them in the distance.

And that gleaming 1200mm heavy artillery—she instantly understood the reasoning.

”Hurry! Provide covering fire!” Commander Chu Xuan urgently ordered.

Under the covering fire of the Imperial Fleet and the assault of the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship’s stellar drones, a ship’s silhouette shot through the Swarm battle line at incredible speed.

It was none other than the much-anticipated Zero Blizzard.

At this moment, the starships of the Imperial Fleet could clearly see the marks left on this starship from its earlier collisions with the Swarm.

There were hundreds of dents and depressions in the starship armor from the impacts, truly a sight of ’a thousand holes.’

Most notably, at the starship bow, there was a massive crater with a diameter of twenty meters and a depth of nearly three meters—this was naturally the ’combat medal’ earned from ramming that T2 Hive Mothership to death.

On the ship hull, there were also numerous Zerg carcasses and splattered green fluids.

And... the Zergs that had followed and were still attempting to attack the starship. These creatures clung to the hull, using their mouthparts, claws, and corrosive acids to damage the starship hull armor.

But soon, these Zergs were cleaned up one by one by the arriving T2 Larval Bee-class Light Stellar Drones.

”What kind of starship is this...” Commander Chu Xuan gazed at the vessel, feeling a hint of envy in her heart.

At the same time, she also admired the commander of this starship. The just-concluded battle, which could be described as insane yet executed with seamless fluidity, was simply too perfect.

She asked herself: if she were in that position, could she have performed as well?

Chu Xuan had no answer.

”Report, Zero Blizzard has successfully completed the combat mission. The ship hull has sustained partial damage, and seven crew members have suffered minor injuries,” Charlotte reported to Zhao Chen via video communication.

”Well done!” Zhao Chen truly couldn’t praise Charlotte’s performance enough.

Although he had privately discussed with Charlotte earlier how this battle should be fought.

Charlotte had proposed this plan at the time, and Zhao Chen had agreed. However, she couldn’t guarantee the detailed combat steps, as they were facing Interstellar Zergs on the battlefield—everything had to be improvised.

But Charlotte assured Zhao Chen that she had at least an eighty percent chance of success, and even if unsuccessful, she could safely withdraw Zero Blizzard.

Charlotte had done it!

Hiss, hiss, hiss...

”It’s a communication request from the flagship of the Imperial Fleet,” Secretary Officer Lilith pointed to a popped-up communication request beside her.

”Put it through,” Zhao Chen said.

The video communication opened again.

The female officer reappeared before Zhao Chen’s eyes.

”Captain, we have just received a message from Planetoid P331. The evacuation of civilians on the planetoid is 80% complete and is expected to be fully completed in another half hour.

This means we only need to hold out for a little over ten more minutes before we can gradually withdraw from the battlefield,” Commander Chu Xuan stared intently at the man before her.

Right now, her heart was filled with curiosity about this man.

This man seemed like a deity descended from the heavens. With just two starships, he had helped them, who had completely lost hope, resolve the crisis before them and save the five million civilians on that planet.

What exactly was this man’s background?

And what were the origins of those two starships?

Chu Xuan had far too many doubts and questions in her heart.

”I understand. Then we’ll fight while withdrawing. With three T2 Hive Motherships destroyed, the Swarm’s command system will be in chaos for a short time, greatly affecting their combat efficiency.

There basically won’t be any significant threat,” Zhao Chen said calmly.

”Well...” Commander Chu Xuan wanted to chat a bit more.

”Let’s stop here for now. Until the battle is truly over, we cannot let our guard down.”

After saying this, Zhao Chen directly ended the communication.

Commander Chu Xuan was stunned, staring blankly at the now-darkened communication screen.

This was the first time a man had ended a communication with her so quickly and abruptly. After all, she was considered a prized flower within the Imperial Fleet.

Was this treatment... a case of opening the wrong way?

Of course, Zhao Chen had no idea he had already set this prized flower of the Imperial Fleet’s imagination running wild, leaving her somewhat resentful.

”Report the current status of the two starships,” Zhao Chen sat in the captain’s chair. Only at this moment did he truly relax, pressing his temples and taking a deep breath.

Although Charlotte had promised earlier, saying he wasn’t nervous would be a lie.

Secretary Officer Lilith had already compiled the current data for the two starships in advance and began her report.

”So far, the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship has lost nearly two hundred units of T2 Larval Bee-class Light Stellar Drones, sixty units of T2 Killer Bee-class Medium Stellar Drones, and seven units of T2 Hornet-class Heavy Stellar Drones.

The losses of stellar drones have reached seventy percent, ammunition and supplies consumption has reached fifty percent, with no personnel casualties.”

After reporting on the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship, next came Zero Blizzard.

The situation of Zero Blizzard was far from optimistic.

”Zero Blizzard’s frontal armor has sustained comprehensive damage exceeding seventy percent, while the flank armor has sustained comprehensive damage reaching thirty percent. Three cabins located at the bow have been crushed and deformed and are now sealed off.

The strength of the starship’s primary frame structure has decreased by five percent, but this does not affect Zero Blizzard’s ability to continue fighting and navigating.

The unrestricted engine is currently observed to be functioning normally, but whether there are hidden issues requires a thorough inspection upon returning to port.

The power system, energy system, control system, and all other systems are operating normally.

Ammunition and supplies consumption is at thirty percent.”
