Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!

Chapter 437: Chapter 437 - Going back to the open area

After six hours, as expected, Damian passed out and nothing in this world will be able to wake him up. Since an hour outside is 8 hours here, I only used up a little over 7 hours so far. I used the last hour cleaning him up again as well as all the mess we made in the bathroom and the bedroom.

I used cleaning spells one after the other and dressed Damian in more appropriate clothes that cover his body properly unlike the rags he came in with. I burned the clothes since it will just give him awful memories when he sees it.

Before leaving the room, I slipped a healing potion and a revitalizing potion on to his lips and made sure he swallowed every bit of it. I carried him like a princess again and teleported back to the place where we hid before coming here.

I walked leisurely back on to the open area, carrying the unconscious Damian in my arms. Surprisingly, there are still a lot of people in the open area as if they were waiting for my return. I heard a lot of gasps and gossipy voices saying that I must have been cruel making the guy pass out like that after only a few hours while pointing at the red marks on Damian’s neck and his obviously swollen lips.

I ignored all of their comments and then stopped right in front of the seller. I did not let him touch Damian with his filthy hands as I gently pulled the collar of my man’s clothes a bit to show his left collarbone that was now spotless.

The man immediately laughed happily, knowing that the 500 silver coins were now officially his. He grabbed the back collar of Darren and Dylan’s clothes then flung them towards me. I used my magic to steady the two boys so they won’t fall to the ground.

Their father then flung the severance letters and their registration papers towards the back of the two boys, hitting them squarely at the back of their heads. If it wasn’t paper, their heads would have surely bled with how strongly he threw the pieces of paper.

He then looked at me and smiled as he said, ”They’re yours to do whatever you want with them. I have nothing to do with these three brats from now on. Thank you for your patronage.” He assisted his wife and turned around as if he has not just sold his sons but only some kind of livestock.

I looked at the two boys that were stunned. They hurriedly picked up the papers that were scattered on the ground. Their hands then clung to my clothes as if they were scared that I will leave them behind.

We walked away and went back to the secluded area that me and Damian went to earlier. Without any warning, I teleported the four of us back to the inside of the wagon that looked like a mansion inside.

Darren’s eyes widened in surprise at the sudden change of the surroundings. Daryl just held on tighter to my clothes and stuck closer to me which meant that he got scared too.

I walked straight to my bedroom, having two little hands clinging to me. I laid Damian on the bed and covered him with a blanket. I led the two boys out to the living room again for a quick health check.

I checked Darren first since his breaths are weak and he seems to get tired too easily. As I checked, it seems like it was a congenital heart issue. Since it is a slight rupture in the heart, I can’t give him strong medicine like a whole vial of a healing concoction that I would usually do.

I conjured a bottle of the healing pills I made which were way lower in dose. I originally made these for minor health issues and physical injuries. They are also meant for retail since they aren’t too miraculous unlike the first ones I made.

I gave a bottle to Darren and gave him instructions to drink one pill as he wakes up in the morning and one before he sleeps until he uses up everything. I promised him that he will get better gradually. He nodded his head happily, thanked me, opened the bottle and popped one pill in his mouth then swallowed it without water with difficulty. He closed the bottle gently then hugged the bottle of medicine close to his chest.

On the youngest child, I discovered that nothing was wrong with most parts of his body but there were a few blood clots in different areas of his head and several scars throughout his body. Darren spoke and explained, ”He is the bravest of us three and he always goes against that man and woman when they try to abuse us so he gets hit a lot. Sometimes with a stick or a belt. He is mostly slapped on the head too and in worst cases, he is kicked or flung towards the wall by that evil pair. Our previous household just hated sons, I guess.”

My imagination has always been vivid so I can clearly see in my head every event that Darren described to me. I couldn’t help but wince as if I was the one in pain but anger was flaring inside me too. I will be sending a request about this to Noir since I won’t feel contented until they are punished.

I touched Daryl’s head and started putting some mana towards his head clearing the clot little by little. The little boy as if having a relaxing massage, fell asleep during the treatment. It made Darren nervous as he looked at me with worried eyes. I assured him that both his brothers will be in the pink of health once they wake up.

Once the treatment is over, I asked Darren to pick a room each for him and his little brother. I thought he would complain but he simply nodded and asked for help from me to carry his brother because he couldn’t. I also gave instructions for them to bathe properly and wear the clothes that I prepared for them. He can then come out and eat a bit later and we will just leave some food on the table for his brothers when they wake up.

I left them in the bathroom of the room he chose. He insisted on sharing just one since it was spacious enough for both of them. I then went back to my room where my new husband is currently sleeping soundly. I snuggled next to him and fell asleep almost immediately.
