Journey to Planar World

Olympia is also known as the Eternal Sanctuary.

It was a prosperous place before the descent of the Gods, the oldest city in the world with a history older than Orario itself.

Moreover, Olympia is protected by a barrier formed with the power of the Primordial Fire. As a result, there are no monsters on this peninsula.

The barrier keeps monsters and humans away. It is even impossible for a First-Class Adventurer to destroy it.

The Primordial Fire was brought to the lower world from Heaven. It was the beginning of Olympia, and after thousands of years, it remains the core of this sanctuary.

The Primordial Fire must be permanently maintained to light the torches, illuminate the night, and act as a barrier to ward off threats. Its dependency is similar to Orario’s on magic stones, as the inhabitants use it for all kinds of tasks, and without it, the country would not be able to prosper.

*SWOOSH*

At this moment, Charlie was flying using the Spirit Art of Wind towards Olympia, carrying Hera on his back.

”Besides Perseus (Asfi) from the Hermes Familia, you’re probably the only one with the ability to fly. Moreover, you’re still Level 1. I’m glad I didn’t overlook you back then.”

Holding onto Charlie’s neck tightly to avoid falling, Hera gazed at the vast blue sea ahead. She was certain the other gods would be envious if they knew about this.

”Even if it wasn’t Goddess Hera who found me, I’m not sure if any other god would have accepted me into their Familia. After all, before receiving Falna and awakening my Spirit Art, I was no different from an ordinary person. Meeting Goddess Hera was my good fortune.”

”Since when did you learn to flatter? Don’t do such disgusting things.”

”That wasn’t flattery...”

Charlie was telling the truth. He was very grateful to her.

”Just focus on flying; it’s easy to get lost in the ocean.”

”Understood.”

No longer speaking, Charlie flew across the blue sea at high speed.

Olympia is a peninsula located quite far from the City of Menel. Even by sea route and with the help of magic items to speed up the journey, it would take seven days to reach the place.

For this trip, Hera had given him hundreds of thousands of valis to buy dozens of Magic Potions. Thus, Charlie didn’t have to worry about running out of Essence/Mana while flying.

*WHOOSH*

”Goddess Hera, my Mana is running low.”

Since his hands were holding onto Hera’s thighs while carrying her, Charlie couldn’t drink the Magic Potion himself.

”Drink it.”

Taking a Magic Potion from the backpack hanging in front of Charlie’s chest, Hera opened the bottle and helped him drink.

”Gulp... Gulp... Gulp...”

Seeing the empty bottle, she tossed it into the sea.

”I wish Magic Potions had flavor variants.” Charlie complained.

He had drunk three Magic Potions, making him sick of its bland taste.

*WHOOSH*

Three hours later, Charlie enhanced his vision with Spirit Art, and he could already see the peninsula in the distance.

”So that’s Olympia...”

The sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky, white clouds floated calmly above. Below, a peninsula loomed, its hills adorned with magnificent temples made of gleaming white stone. The temple was known as the Great Temple, towering above the city below, Olympia, built on the steep mountainside.

The nation looked both ancient and beautiful, from its streets to its buildings, the entire place had remained unchanged for thousands of years, giving off a unique atmosphere that made one feel as if they were entering the stories of heroes.

”Stop, or you will crash into the barrier that protects Olympia, which repels or burns anyone who touches it.” Hera reminded.

”Yes.”

Following instructions, Charlie stopped in mid-air. Even without the reminder, his sixth sense rang in his mind, warning of the threat of death if he continued flying forward.

”Use your Spirit Art to convey my words...”

”Alright.”

Then, Charlie used the Spirit Art of Wind to send his voice to the fishermen in the harbor.

”Goddess Hera is visiting. Please pass this message to Goddess Prometheus.”

Immediately, whether it was men or women, they looked around to find the source of the voice. A man realized Charlie’s presence hovering in the air outside the barrier and caught the attention of others.

After a brief discussion, one of them went to report.

There is no ruler or king in Olympia, only the Cult of Prometheus acts as the coordinator of the capital.

That’s right, not a Familia but a Cult!

There are many cultural differences between Olympia and Orario, from customs to currency, and so on.

Charlie and Hera didn’t have to wait long before a man approached them by boat, with two other men rowing.

The man standing in the middle was a tall, muscular man with dark skin, yellow eyes, and long blue hair tied in a ponytail reaching below his shoulders. He wore a black shirt with a gray design on the chest and openings that exposed his abs and sides.

”Welcome to Olympia, Hera-sama. I am Epimetheus, the Divine President of the Cult of Prometheus. Please forgive Prometheus-sama for not personally welcoming you. She is currently occupied and unable to leave.”

Epimetheus smiled warmly but glanced at Charlie, who could hover.

”No problem. You must be the fire-bearer of this generation.”

”Hera-sama is correct. It is an honor to meet you, Hera-sama.”

The barrier of Olympia can only be opened by the fire-bearer. That’s why Epimetheus came in place of Prometheus.

”The barrier has been opened, please come in.” Epimetheus said with a smile.

”Charlie, put me down.”

”Yes.”

Passing through the barrier’s gap, Charlie lowered Hera onto the boat.

”You can go back. There’s no need to stay in Olympia any longer.”

”I understand.”

Without asking the reason, Charlie turned around and shot off like a falling star.

”Take me to Prometheus.”

”With pleasure, Hera-sama.”

Bowing respectfully before Hera, Epimetheus ordered the two men to turn the boat around and row quickly.

On the other side, Charlie did not return immediately; he rested on an uninhabited island in the middle of the ocean.

”This is exhausting... Goddess Hera treated me like an airplane, not even allowing me to rest in Olympia.”

Splitting a coconut with the Sword of Damocles, he drank the fresh coconut water to quench his thirst.

”Huft... Lucky to find a tropical island.”

A gentle breeze carried the fresh scent of the sea and the sound of seagulls crying. The atmosphere on the island was very peaceful, making one feel sleepy.

His eyelids felt heavy, and without realizing it, Charlie fell asleep due to exhaustion.

”Zzzz....”
