Journey to Planar World

Beyond the universe and outside of time, there exists a place unreachable by living beings. This place is known as the Void Sanctuary. It is where everything loses meaning, and the concepts of space and time are mere fading shadows.

Here, stars do not shine, planets do not rotate, and time does not move. It is a dimension where everything exists in nothingness.

”This is our last chance to choose the Savior. Because you randomly selected someone to be the Savior, the outcome was terrible. The world’s resources were wasted.”

”Ehehe... Trial and error is normal. You didn’t expect to succeed on the first try, did you? Even the Grand Servant barely managed to fend off the Abyssal Devourer’s invasion of our world. Don’t expect too much from modern civilization humans who are used to living peacefully.”

”Failure means the destruction of the Void Sanctuary and countless other worlds. Don’t act recklessly like before.”

”I know~, don’t look at me like that.”

There were two women arguing in the Void Sanctuary where there should have been no one.

Both were incredibly beautiful women. Even the Goddess of Beauty in various mythologies would feel inferior and unworthy of the title of the Goddess of Beauty.

The cold-natured woman had a proportionate figure with long blue hair reaching her ankles.

Meanwhile, the cheerful woman had a petite figure like a little girl but with a large chest that didn’t match her short body, and her long green hair reached her hips.

If an Emperor saw these two women, he would not hesitate to abandon his empire if he could have them. A top global consortium owner would be willing to spend all his assets and money to make these two women his own. The sexual orientation of a gay man would revert to normal after seeing these two women.

Even on a larger scale, regardless of the differences in beauty standards across races, every man would kill each other to be the sole winner who wins these two women.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that these two women could incite madness and greed in any man!

”With the remaining world resources, we can only choose ten Saviors. I have eight slots, and you have two slots.”

The cold girl said without intending to compromise.

”EHHH—!!! That’s not fair, isn’t it normal to split it in half? Why do I only get two slots!”

The cheerful girl puffed her cheeks and pouted like a child.

”You have no right to refuse. Don’t forget you chose 100 Saviors at once, and as a result, they were all wiped out by the Abyssal Devourer. If only you had chosen more carefully, at least some of them would have grown strong enough to face the Abyssal Devourer instead of having fun in another world and forming a harem.”

”Whistle~... Was there something like that? I’ve been a bit forgetful lately~”

”Anyway, you can only choose two Saviors, no more, no less.”

Ignoring her friend, the cold girl waved her hand. In an instant, 61 million screens displayed information about people who died on Earth within each year. She then reviewed each individual one by one.

”Tch~, you’re no fun at all.”

Seeing her start working, the cheerful girl had no choice but to accept the annoying arrangement. Next, she did the same as her friend.

There is no concept of time in the Void Sanctuary, so it is unclear how much time passed.

There is no next chance; they both seriously searched for Savior candidates who could help them face the Abyssal Devourer.

”Whoa, this man fought against his own country to avenge the death of his wife and child. Because of his sense of justice, he lost his love. His good deeds ended in a tragic life, poor man.”

”Love is the greatest power; it can overcome any hardship. The power that comes from longing and pain is the strongest and purest of all.”

”With the power of love, Charlie Avalon successfully avenged his enemies even though they were highly protected.”

”Alright, I like your character. You also seem tough; I choose you, Charlie Avalon!”

The cheerful girl’s eyes sparkled after learning about Charlie’s life from birth to death. Of course, she didn’t choose him just out of pity and sympathy, but because of his ability to avenge his enemies despite being hunted by the state’s security forces.

”Only one slot left...”

The cheerful girl glanced to her side and found that the cold girl had already chosen four Savior candidates.

”Lin Fan? This name is very common. There are no good people with this name. Previously, this person misused the power I gave him to gather beautiful women from all over the world and form a huge harem. This bastard felt he was already very strong and stopped growing. He indulged himself with his women every day without training. In the end, the Abyssal Devourer killed him easily.”

Remembering the previous experience, the cheerful girl crossed out anyone named Lin Fan.

”Umu, your experience is no worse than Charlie Avalon’s; I choose you, Wang Jian.”

”This is the second chance I’m giving you, don’t waste it, okay? Become stronger and fight the Abyssal Devourer to protect the world.”

”Is this the afterlife? Why does it feel so strange? It feels like I’m skydiving...”

”AHHHHHH—”

Opening his eyes, Charlie saw the vast blue sky without clouds. Before he could observe his surroundings, he found himself falling from a height of thousands of meters in the air.

”Damn! Why am I free-falling without a parachute?”

Confused by the inexplicable situation he was experiencing, Charlie couldn’t help but curse.

”No, think about that later! My priority is to land safely.”

After regaining his composure, he observed the ground getting closer.

Charlie had exceptional vision. He was one of the best snipers in the world and often represented Indonesia in international military competitions. In one competition, the United States and Australia even suspected him of cheating and asked the staff to dismantle the firearm he was using. The result was that they found no anomalies in his firearm and could only reluctantly acknowledge his shooting skills.

Back to the main topic, Charlie saw a city built on the edge of a large lake.

”Even if I land in the water, my chances of survival are slim. Falling into a snow pile offers a better chance of survival.”

In general, falling from a height of thousands of meters without a parachute can be fatal due to the speed and impact force with the water surface, which would feel like hitting concrete at high speed.

There have been rare cases where people survived falling from very high altitudes, but this usually involved some lucky factors, such as the angle of the fall reducing the impact or other obstacles slowing the fall.

”Never mind, whether I survive or not is up to fate. After all, I have no strong reason to live. At least, let’s give it a try.”

With this thought in mind, Charlie positioned himself to glide towards the lake.

*SPLASH*

He landed in the water with a loud splash.

”Hm, what was that...”

The sound caught the attention of a yandere woman who was searching for a man who had escaped and hidden from her. She accidentally saw a man fall from the sky.

”Let’s check it out; he looks interesting.”

Seeing the man floating on the water’s surface, the woman didn’t hesitate to jump into the lake and swim towards him. She then dragged him ashore.
