Sylveon wrapped its ribbon around the cup, bringing it to its mouth; its beautiful blue eyes filled with anticipation.

Flutter Mane picked up the cup with its clawed wings, looking particularly serious, because in its memory, this oddly colored thing was not drinkable...

But Naoki said it was fine, so it should be okay, right?

Glaceon squatted on the floor, having no particular thoughts about the blue watermelon juice, only thinking it looked quite lovely.

Alcremie was delighted with the atmosphere of everyone drinking juice together and tried its best to lift the cup as tall as itself, cheering happily.

Dragonite wasn’t picky about food or drink; if Naoki said it was drinkable, it would gulp it down without a second of hesitation, grabbing the cup with its big claws and pouring it down its throat.

Cyclizar looked left and right, seemingly wanting to wait to drink together with everyone.

Calyrex picked up the cup with its hand, gently smelling the inside, expecting the taste to be awful but surprisingly finding it decent.

Meanwhile, Koraidon boldly grabbed the cup.

”Alright, everyone, let’s drink together!”

With Naoki’s command, the group of Pokemon in front of him raised their cups and started drinking together, gulping down the juice.

Naoki observed the Pokemon’s appearance.

Compared to other dishes, this frozen watermelon juice had no glowing effects and caused no obvious changes once ingested by the Pokemon.

”It seems the enhancement is subtle,” Naoki thought to himself.

At this moment, Sylveon looked down at its body, eagerly asking: ”Sylv-ee?!” (Can I become a courageous hero to defeat the Evil Dragon now?!)

Naoki: ”...”

”That’s just a fairy tale from the Galar Region, and there aren’t any Evil Dragons nearby,” he remarked to Sylveon with a hint of helplessness.

Upon hearing this, Sylveon instinctively glanced at Koraidon, Cyclizar, and Dragonite.

Dragonite immediately defended itself: ”Roar roar!” (I’m not an Evil Dragon Pokemon!)

Cyclizar looked innocently: ”Gao?” Was it an Evil Dragon?

Koraidon responded with utter disbelief: ”Gagisis...”

”Sylv...” Sylveon pondered and realized none seemed to be Evil Dragons.

Naoki’s mood mirrored Koraidon’s, as he briefly reminisced before saying: ”Maybe such a thing happened long ago?”

”Sylv?” Sylveon quickly raised its head to listen.

Naoki continued: ”A long, long time ago, humans and Pokemon were not as harmonious as they are now.”

”At that time, humans referred to Pokemon as [monsters], believing them to be terrifying and kept their distance, while Pokemon were mostly vigilant towards humans.”

”Therefore, when humans encountered Dragon-type Pokemon, they would be attacked by them. Perhaps that’s why humans called them Evil Dragons?”

”Sylv?” Sylveon asked quickly, are there no Dragon-type Pokemon attacking humans now?

”I don’t know, at least the Dragon-type Pokemon I’ve encountered, like Koraidon, Cyclizar, and Dragonite, are very gentle,” Naoki replied.

”Moreover, in modern times, humans and Pokemon have already become part of each other’s lives, even imprinting certain things into their brains and genetic makeup.”

For example, many wild Pokemon know about Poke Balls and human Trainers.

Hearing this, Sylveon felt quite disappointed, as it wanted to use its power to defeat Evil Dragons, save humans, and become a hero!

Naoki also felt quite helpless as a response.

”It might just not be possible,” Naoki said.

At least he had never seen one.

Perhaps there might be, like some inherently ferocious Dragon-type Pokemon, such as Hydreigon, but they wouldn’t be found in the Paldea Region.

”Sylv...”

Sylveon left in disappointment.

It played for a while with the other Eevees on the ranch and then went to the World Tree.

Jirachi, who lived on the World Tree, very much liked the Eevees from Naoki Ranch. Seeing them coming to play at the Explorer Team Guild, it flew down eagerly to join in.

The enthusiastic Flareon, the elegant Espeon and Umbreon, the gentle Leafeon, the hasty Jolteon...

Everyone, as usual, was having a good time playing nearby.

Just then, Jirachi suddenly noticed Sylveon on the side.

Sylveon lay on the grass, its ribbon drooped weakly beside it, looking rather dejected.

Jirachi floated over to Sylveon, circled around it, and asked, ”Sylveon, what’s wrong?”

”Sylv...” Sylveon sighed.

Huh? Evil Dragon Pokemon?

Jirachi blinked innocently and asked, ”Do you want to defeat Evil Dragon Pokemon and become a hero?”

”Sylv!” Sylveon nodded with determination but quickly lay down again, dejectedly saying: ”Sylv...” (But Naoki says there are no more Evil Dragon Pokemon in this world...)

Evil Dragon Pokemon...

Seeing this, Jirachi thought carefully and soon remembered something, cheerfully saying to Sylveon:

”That’s not necessarily true! Let’s ask Ho-oh! Ho-oh has traveled to many places and knows a lot of things!”

”Sylv?!” Sylveon exclaimed in surprise.

So Sylveon left the main group of Eevees, and under Jirachi’s guidance, made its way to the top of the World Tree.
