Not Being a Trainer This Time

”Vee!” Partner Eevee nodded.

The Sylveon on the bed jumped off swiftly and ran to the living room. In no time, it returned with a cup of water held in its ribbons, saying, ”Vee~”

Drink up, it’s here!

Naoki: ”...” Giving help for no reason, either a traitor or a thief!

But Naoki knew the Eevees’ intentions, so after drinking the water, he got out of bed and led the Eevees to the pasture.

”Are you ready?” Naoki attached Eevee’s special Z to the Z Ring.

”Vee!”

The Eevees nodded their little heads with determination.

”Very well, let’s begin!”

Naoki focused, lightly touched the Z Crystal on the ring.

The next second, a dazzling burst of colorful light emerged from Naoki, pouring into Eevee ahead.

Feeling the sudden surge of strength in its body, Partner Eevee’s eyes widened, then cried out to the sky.

”Vee——!”

A ring of invisible ripples spread rapidly in all directions from it.

The other Eevees touched by the ripple paused in surprise, as they too felt the surge of power within!

Soon, a wondrous scene unfolded.

Leafeon erupted in a green light until its entire body transformed into a ball of green energy, gently rising into the air.

Flareon, Glaceon, Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Jolteon all glowed in colors matching their bodies!

Their radiant colors flowed into Partner Eevee, surrounding it in a rainbow-like fiery light!

Amidst it all, Partner Eevee looked down at its own body in disbelief.

”Vee, Vee!” Such powerful strength!

It felt like flames were igniting within, as if possessing endless power!

”Vee!”

Now familiar with the power, Partner Eevee turned and looked back at Naoki, ready for a fight!

Naoki: ”...” But there’s no challenger, right?

”Vee...” Eevee’s face scrunched with discomfort, burdened by strength with nowhere to use it!

Seeing this, Naoki called Koraidon over, asking it to help move the large rock across the river.

Koraidon did so, soon placing the rock before Eevee.

Naoki said, ”Now use all your power to attack this rock!”

”Vee!”

Partner Eevee cried out, charging with rainbow flames, crashing into the rock with Tackle.

”Boom!”

With a mighty crash, the rock shattered to pieces.

”Vee!” Partner Eevee was ecstatic, turning towards Naoki and shouting, ”Vee Vee!”

Did you see that? It became so strong, it could smash such a large rock into fragments in one go!

Naoki: ”...”

Though breaking rocks might be simple for Pokemon like Koraidon or Dragonite, for an Eevee not trained much, it was impressive indeed.

Especially since their Eevee was no ordinary Eevee.

Imagine, an Eevee raised on Life Sheep Milk, bathing in Natural Energy, could hardly be ordinary.

Their physical capabilities far exceed normal Eevees.

Naoki once saw a video online of a Trainer training their Eevee.

They too used a rock to serve as a hypothetical foe for Eevee.

But unlike theirs, that Eevee not only failed to break the rock but gave itself a bump...

Now, the rainbow glow on Eevee faded, signaling the end of the Z Move Extreme Evoboost.

Eevee, once brimming with excitement, suddenly felt exhausted.

”Vee...” It looked at its body in puzzlement.

”Don’t worry, it’s just a side effect of using a Z Move. Go have some sheep milk and play with everyone!” Naoki consoled.

The other Eevees, albeit borrowing power, were not as tired as Partner Eevee.

Though some seemed disgruntled.

For they couldn’t use such powerful moves.

Seeing this, Naoki was about to say something when Glaceon spoke up first:

”Vee Vee!” (Because it’s compensation for Eevee not evolving!)

The other Eevees turned to look at it.

Glaceon continued, ”Vee Vee.” (Flareon ate Naoki’s Divine Steamed Bun and got powerful flames, Jolteon ate Lightning Steamed Bun, its electricity got strong, Leafeon eats grass from the World Tree daily, its Grass Type Energy is abundant, also Espeon and Umbreon can absorb sunlight and moonlight as energy!)

Glaceon then turned to look at Partner Eevee, continuing, ”Vee!” (Only Eevee received nothing, so consider this its compensation!)

Hearing Glaceon’s explanation, everyone thought it over, realizing it was indeed so.

It was a small matter, the Eevees soon came to terms with it, now Partner Eevee received a powerful move, they could head to the World Tree to play!

The Eevees said goodbye to Naoki, then happily ran off.
