Not Being a Trainer This Time

”Mewtwo has his quirks, while Rayquaza is busy every day going to the ozone layer and space to find meteorites to eat.”

”Also, it’s not just you who has experienced something like this...”

Upon hearing this, Giratina’s interest was immediately piqued.

With a gruff voice, it asked, ”There are others? Tell me quickly, who else!” It wanted to find a sense of belonging.

Naoki: ”...”

Should he really say? Would this be unfair to those Pokemon?

Never mind, to soothe Giratina’s wounded heart, it’ll just have to bear with it!

”Do you know Ho-oh?” Naoki asked.

Giratina nodded; it knew of Ho-oh but wasn’t familiar.

”Under Ho-oh’s command, there is the Ho-oh Guard formed by four Pokemon, including one named Suicune, which once was caught by humans using a fishing net.” Naoki said.

Giratina’s face immediately showed an expression of disbelief.

”Really?!”

”Of course it’s true.” Naoki nodded: ”But that happened in another world. In that world, Kyogre was even caught by a little human girl with a fishing rod!”

”Not only that, there have been humans capturing Lugia, a Groudon that couldn’t fly...”

”By comparison, you’re already doing pretty well, and those humans specifically researched you, crafting weapons tailored to counter you. Plus, they launched a sneak attack from behind. Why? Because they’re afraid of you, don’t dare meet you head-on, and resort to such lowly tactics.” Naoki said.

With Naoki’s encouragement, Giratina suddenly felt like what happened to it wasn’t so hard to accept.

Indeed! Naoki was right! Its great Giratina was ambushed by petty people!

If it were a frontal fight, they wouldn’t be its match at all.

Thinking of this, Giratina’s confidence grew and it returned to its usual state.

Naoki couldn’t help but laugh.

Though a Legendary Pokemon that has existed for many years, its personality is still quite childlike!

After chit-chatting, Naoki started talking about serious matters.

”Arceus is about to awaken.” He said.

Upon hearing this, Giratina immediately looked over.

It recalled the agreement it had made with Naoki: it would help elevate the World Tree, and Naoki would help teach Arceus a lesson.

But Naoki didn’t know, Giratina was well aware of how strong Arceus truly is.

He created this world; even it, Dialga, and Palkia, were all created by Him.

To teach a lesson to the God who created this world is easier said than done... even for Giratina, it would only dare to sneak in some underhanded actions.

It would be terrible to be retaliated against afterward.

After a moment of silence, Giratina spoke: ”That matter doesn’t need to be accounted for. Arceus created this world; we probably won’t be His match. If He harbors a grudge against us...”

Naoki was slightly surprised, but quickly understood Giratina’s meaning.

He smiled and said: ”Don’t worry, I’ve made thorough preparations, and I will keep my promise to you!”

Ho-oh, the healer, even capable of reviving the dead, Calyrex with countless followers, peak Primal Kyogre...

Add to that the special movie setting, even if they attack Arceus, He wouldn’t hold a grudge because, to Arceus, they are also stopping Him from punishing humanity.

When the time comes, with heaven’s favor, advantageous timing, and favorable people, there’s no need to worry about Arceus seeking revenge.
