Chapter 305: Chapter 210: Super Berry Platter (4k)

League Year 198, August 12th, Autumn.

After more than eight months of development, everything on the farm gradually stabilized.

With the addition of numerous Pokemon, the productivity of the farm was greatly liberated, and Naoki no longer needed to personally handle everything like at the beginning.

The Indeedee Sibling managed the house and farm in an orderly manner, and aside from looking after Naoki’s daily life, their favorite place to be was the Pokemon Tavern.

Over in the fields, Diglett helped with plowing and turning soil, watering was still done by Dragonite, and even harvesting crops no longer required Naoki to pick them himself.

Because the Psychic Type Indeedee Sibling used Telekinesis to control the mature crops, picking them and piling them in the farm.

This made Naoki’s daily work much lighter; he either played with the Pokemon or sat in the garden drinking tea and reading, living quite comfortably.

This afternoon, another batch of berries ripened in the Berry Garden.

Just as the berries at home had been eaten up, Naoki carried a basket to pick them.

Walking through the fragrant orchard, even though he had seen it a few times before, looking at the heavy berries on the branches still filled Naoki with wonder.

Because after the berry trees grew large, the berries grew too quickly.

The first batch picked would mature again in less than seven days.

”No wonder berries in this world are so cheap...” Naoki thought about the market price of 20 League currency for one berry and couldn’t help but say to himself.

This price, a bottle of ordinary MooMoo milk could buy a bunch.

Wild berry trees must be like this too?

Such plentiful berry resources must be the food source for wild Pokemon living in mountains and dense forests.

”Huh? More golden and silver berries appeared?”

At this moment, Naoki suddenly noticed a golden Razz Berry hanging on a tree.

Not only that, a string of golden Nanab Berries was also hanging on the neighboring tree.

This surprised Naoki greatly.

The last time he picked berries, he also encountered many golden and silver berries, all of which were very rare varieties.

Looking at it this way, the chance of rare berries appearing is quite high!

At least higher than the mutated crops in the field.

Naoki stepped forward and picked them, staring at the berries, a new idea suddenly came to him.

——Berry Platter!

Based on his observations over the past few months, if the quality and rarity of ingredients used in cooking were enhanced, then the Cooking Effect would change accordingly.

The last few golden berries were too few, plus the Silver Wing attracted his attention, so Naoki didn’t think much about it then.

Now, perhaps he should give it a try?

If he used these rare berries to make a Berry Platter, would the Berry Platter’s effect vary?

Thinking this, Naoki immediately carried the basket full of berries back to the kitchen.

His brother Indeedee, who was cleaning, saw his actions and looked puzzled.

Why cook at this hour?

If it remembers correctly, Naoki had several sandwiches and a large bowl of porridge for breakfast!

Naoki noticed his brother Indeedee’s gaze, looked up, and saw its puzzled face, so he explained:

”I suddenly thought of a new dish... Uh, not exactly new, to be precise, it’s an improved version of a dish.”

Upon hearing this, brother Indeedee instantly understood.

It nodded, didn’t ask more, but still couldn’t help but be curious about the dish.

So it continued to clean earnestly, while throwing little glances towards the kitchen area.

Naoki didn’t notice brother Indeedee’s little actions.

He picked out all the golden and silver berries from the basket, washed them clean with water, then cut them into irregular berry pieces and arranged them on a white plate.

And thus, a simple Berry Platter was completed.

These berry chunks gleamed gold and silver on the white porcelain plate, looking very precious.

Naoki cast his eyes towards them.

The next second, information about the improved Berry Platter appeared in his mind.

[Super Berry Platter (A-): A gourmet dish made with various berries, blending the flavors of different berries, favored by some Pokemon.

Cooking Effect: Skill Refinement (large), after consumption, a Pokemon’s move will randomly change, the chance of learning rare moves is enhanced.

Evaluation: A basic dish, easy to make, a good choice for home travel.]

”Sure enough, it changed!” Naoki widened his eyes.

Next, he made a regular Berry Platter and placed them together to compare.

”The dish’s level increased from a rather poor C- to A-, Skill Refinement also gained a large effect.”

Looking at the final words, Naoki murmured in thought: ”An increased chance to learn rare moves? Does that mean expanding the move pool by adding more powerful moves?”

”Unfortunately, the outcome is still uncontrollable.” This made Naoki feel remorseful, as this dish didn’t even provide a guarantee, not friendly to unlucky folks.

At this moment, sister Indeedee happily ran in from outside.
