Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 1161: Chapter 1161: Excessive

“But if the chief surgeon you switch to is not well-trained, and if a medical accident happens during the surgery, I will not be there to clean up the mess for him!”

“After all, this is your own choice! Everyone must take responsibility for their choices!”

“I…” Xiong Zhan opened his mouth but didn’t dare to speak, because it was about his own mother.

Just when the atmosphere had become awkward, the door to the ward was pushed open, and Qin Yu walked casually into the ward.

Two minutes earlier, during Qin Yu’s massage, Holly Rosie had fallen into a deep sleep. Qin Yu did not disturb her but stepped out of the dean’s office; he wanted to check on the patient’s mental condition.

As he entered VIP ward 868, Qin Yu heard what He Kun was saying.

Qin Yu coldly glanced at He Kun, “Professor He, just now during the surgery, I formed a different opinion of you; I thought you were an outstanding doctor.

But just because of what you said just now, my opinion of you has changed!

Won’t clean up the mess?

How could you say something like that?

As a doctor, no matter the situation, the patient is the most important! Where is your medical ethic?

I can tell you very clearly, if there is any problem with the surgery you perform, if you can’t solve the problem, I will not hesitate to help you solve it!

I wouldn’t hold a grudge just because the chief surgeon was changed!

Because, in my eyes, the patient is the most important!”

Qin Yu’s words made He Kun flush with embarrassment. Why did these words sound so familiar?

He remembered they were the same words his mentor had said during his freshman year. No matter the situation, the patient is the most important!

Seeing Qin Yu’s strong stance left He Kun stupefied, Xiong Zhan grew even more confident in Qin Yu, stepping forward with a smile, “Director Qin, you’ve arrived?”

Director Qin? Tian Peng and Su Xinglei looked at each other in dismay!

Although Qin Yu hadn’t said much during the board meeting that day, Tian Peng and Su Xinglei remembered Qin Yu, wasn’t he the young man by Su Ziyan’s side?

“Old Xiong, what are you saying? He is the Director Qin you mentioned?” Tian Peng’s mouth gaped open, disbelieving his own ears.

“Yes, he is Director Qin.” Xiong Zhan nodded.

“Old Xiong, you’ve been fooled by Miss Su! Miss Su has gone too far! How could she use a patient as a bargaining chip! How could this man possibly be a director?

He’s just a driver by Miss Su’s side!”

“Outrageous! This is simply too much! Old Xiong, don’t worry, I will definitely help you get justice! Even if she’s my grandniece, I will not indulge her!” Su Xinglei kept shaking his head!

“Driver? What’s happening?” He Kun looked puzzled at Su Xinglei and Tian Peng.

Tian Peng quickly explained, “Professor He, please don’t be angry, this is a misunderstanding, Old Xiong was deceived! How could this kid be a director?

He’s only a driver for our company’s CEO!”

“Old Xiong, aren’t you going to apologize to Professor He quickly? This Qin is just a driver! You were home taking care of your elderly mother that day and didn’t come to the board meeting, not recognizing him is normal.”

Relief settled in Su Xinglei’s stomach. Su Ziyan, oh Su Ziyan, using an elderly person’s illness as a bargaining chip, let’s see how you deal with this!

He Kun tilted his head slightly, and said calmly, “If that’s the case, I can forgive Mr. Xiong, as long as he sincerely apologizes to me, I can immediately operate on the elderly woman!”

Xiong Zhan blinked, looked at Qin Yu, then back at the others, and said confusedly, “But just now, President Gao personally told me that Director Qin is indeed the director!”
