33: Chapter 33: You guys are too ugly!

Seeing everyone looking at him, Qin Yu grinned.

“How could we let a server cut such precious ingredients?

What if they wasted it, wouldn’t that be a pity?

Fortunately, my knife skills are not bad.

Such an important task should be left to me!”

Without waiting for everyone’s agreement, Qin Yu picked up the dinner knife and began slicing.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh.

The white truffle was sliced into pieces, scattering onto the plates in front of Su Ziyan and himself.

Qin Yu’s knife skills were incredibly cool, and for a moment, everyone was awestruck, with even Han Jian shouting out a compliment!

After the shout, Han Jian realized something was not quite right!

This damn scoundrel Qin Yu, not only had he monopolized the top-notch foie gras, but now the white truffle as well!

“Wife, I heard that white truffles can beautify and nourish the skin, you should eat more.”

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh.

A few cuts later, three-quarters of the white truffle had been sliced by Qin Yu.

“Qin Yu, I can’t eat anymore, you keep it for yourself.”

Looking at the small mountain-like pile on the plate in front of her, Su Ziyan pouted and muttered.

Heaven knows, when Su Ziyan said this, she didn’t mean to irritate anyone at all.

Yet, her words successfully irritated everyone present.

Dammit!

They haven’t had a single bite, and she’s already full!

If looks could kill, Qin Yu and Su Ziyan would have been torn to pieces by the crowd by now!

Although they were furious, Gu Chen and his friends understood that against Qin Yu, who could even pull out a chair, they didn’t stand a chance and had to swallow their anger for the moment.

“Mr.

Qin, I heard that white truffles can beautify and nourish the skin, could you save some for me?”

While speaking, Qu Xiaoting threw Qin Yu a flirtatious look, truly wanting to taste the white truffle.

“Save some?

By saying that, does Miss Qu think she’s not as beautiful as my wife?”

A playful smile appeared at the corner of Qin Yu’s mouth.

“Pssh, how could that be!

I’m much more beautiful than Su Ziyan, she cannot even compare to me!”

Qu Xiaoting said haughtily, lifting her chin up.

Su Ziyan, feeling indignant, lifted her head, ready to retort, but Qin Yu spoke before she could.

“Actually, I agree with Miss Qu, she is indeed much prettier than my wife.”

Huh?

Everyone was stunned.

Had this Qin gone mad?

To say another woman was prettier than his own wife, right in front of her?

Su Ziyan was also surprised, and angrily said, “Qin Yu, since you find me not as pretty as Qu Xiaoting, why did you marry me?

You should go marry her instead!”

“Wife, how could a super beauty like Miss Qu ever look my way?”

Qin Yu said, shaking his head with a smile.

“You’ve got some self-awareness, Mister Qin.

Indeed I wouldn’t give you a second glance!

Hand over the white truffle!”

Qu Xiaoting said arrogantly, holding out her hand.

Su Ziyan was nearly infuriated to death by the words of Qin Yu and Qu Xiaoting.

What kind of taste did Qin Yu have?

Is Qu Xiaoting as beautiful as her?

If Qu Xiaoting were more beautiful than her, why would Gu Chen leave Qu Xiaoting aside and instead bother her?

Qin Yu, as if he hadn’t noticed Su Ziyan getting angry, said with a smile, “Since Miss Qu is already so beautiful, there’s no need to continue beautifying and nurturing one’s looks!

Better leave the opportunity for beauty care to those who aren’t as beautiful as you!

Um, my wife isn’t as beautiful as you, so it’s really effective when she eats white truffle.”

Huh?

Qu Xiaoting’s mouth fell open, and she was roped in by Qin Yu, the rascal, once again!

For some reason, seeing Qu Xiaoting looking as if she had swallowed a dead fly, Su Ziyan felt delighted and giggled.

“Right, right, right!

My husband is right, I indeed am not as beautiful as Miss Qu, um!

I should eat more white truffles, beautify myself more.”

“I %&^%*&%!” Qu Xiaoting couldn’t help but slam the table and stand up, cursing out loud.

“Xiaoting, don’t rush, I have a way.” Seeing Qu Xiaoting on the verge of exploding, Gu Chen gently patted her shoulder.

Qu Xiaoting glared at Qin Yu fiercely and sat down reluctantly.

Gu Chen cleared his throat, “Mr.

Qin, Xiaoting is indeed a bit more beautiful than Ziyan, but, my brothers’ girlfriends aren’t as beautiful as Ziyan, so they also need to eat some white truffle.”

Under normal circumstances, any woman would get angry if someone said she wasn’t beautiful, especially these women who were second-rate celebrities and runway models.

But instead of getting angry upon hearing Gu Chen’s words, these women became excited, one after another they chimed in, “Yes, yes, we are not as beautiful as Miss Su, we also need to eat white truffles for beauty care.”

Uh…

Qin Yu was in a bit of pain, as these women were too crazy.

He scratched his head, at a loss for a strategy for the time being.

“Hahaha, my sisters are not as beautiful as Su Ziyan, Qin Yu, you better hurry up and slice the white truffles for them!”

Seeing Qin Yu with a pained expression, Qu Xiaoting felt very pleased.

Originally, Qin Yu had planned to showcase his special skill by slicing a thin sliver of white truffle for each girl, just as a token gesture.

But provoked by Qu Xiaoting’s challenging gaze, Qin Yu didn’t even want to part with that millimeter!

Qin Yu looked around at the group of women, then snorted coldly.

“You few are too ugly, beyond the help of white truffles, even eating them won’t turn you into beauties, better off letting my wife eat.

Come on, wife, have a taste.”

Gah?

Qin Yu’s shamelessness refreshed everyone’s worldview time and again.

Even Su Ziyan felt a little embarrassed; her cheeks burning up, she wanted to move her chair away from Qin Yu, but found the chair wouldn’t budge.

The few women were so angered by Qin Yu’s comment, their small chests heaved.

“Who are you calling ugly?

You’re the ugly one!

Your whole family is ugly!”

“What kind of person is this?

Is there no decency?”

“We shouldn’t get angry with such lowlifes, it’s not worth it.”

…

As if he hadn’t heard the women’s remarks, Qin Yu took big bites of the top-grade foie gras and white truffle, speaking unclearly as he ate, “Wife, Gu Chen was right, this white truffle is indeed a delicacy of the world, especially when paired with top-grade foie gras.”

Qin Yu deliberately ate with smacking sounds, almost driving people to smoke with anger.

Gu Chen forcefully suppressed his rage; he wouldn’t stoop to the level of such a scoundrel, a dirty rascal, would he?

That would be lowering his own class.

Gu Chen seemed to suddenly remember something and gestured to the waiter.

The waiter hurried over and asked respectfully, “What can I do for you, Mr.

Gu?”

“About the caviar…” Gu Chen intentionally lowered his voice.

The waiter misunderstood Gu Chen’s intention, thinking he was dissatisfied with the speed of the serving.

He quickly said in a low voice, “Mr.

Gu, the caviar will be ready soon, I’ll go and rush the kitchen.”

“What’s the rush?

Tell the kitchen not to hurry with the caviar, serve the Kobe beef first, and this time serve a bit more, one plate per person.”

Having had the previous experience, Gu Chen wasn’t going to give Qin Yu another chance to act shamelessly.
