Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

13: Chapter 0013: Blind Date 13: Chapter 0013: Blind Date “Who exactly are you?

0001 or 0005?”

Yang Bingbing stared at Qin Yu, trying to discern something from his face.

In Yang Bingbing’s memory, among her peers, trainees numbered 0001 and 0005 had the strongest military skills.

“You guess.”

Qin Yu rolled his eyes.

Was he really that weak?

Since this young lady hadn’t recognized him, Qin Yu didn’t plan to reveal his identity.

Moreover, if he told Yang Bingbing his identity, it would be too unchallenging!

Also, Qin Yu didn’t quite like the girl who revered him; he preferred the one he’d made cry.

“Whatever, be who you want to be, what’s that to me?

I’m busy right now with a lot of cases to handle—I must excuse myself.”

“Actually, I just came to check in.

Now that I know where Bingbing works, it’ll be easier to come by in the future.

You’re busy, so I’ll take my leave.”

Qin Yu grinned.

He hadn’t lied.

Making a special effort to follow Yang Bingbing to the police station was just to figure out where she worked.

Huh?

Yang Bingbing’s mouth hung open as she stared dumbfoundedly at Qin Yu’s retreating figure.

It was her first time in her life seeing such a shameless man!

Stepping out of the West City branch office, Qin Yu took out his phone to check the time.

Qin Yu sighed softly.

Time had passed too quickly; it was already three in the afternoon.

Just then, Qin Yu’s phone rang, and upon seeing the name on it, his face took on a strange expression.

“Little Wuzi, what were you up to last night?

Why did you wake up so late?”

“Big bro Yu, never mind what I was doing—what about you last night?

Where did you go?

Why was your phone off?

I went to great lengths to set up a date for you with Shen Qian, and then you stood her up?”

Liu Tian’s voice was filled with reproach.

Qin Yu laughed, “Little Wuzi, don’t be anxious.

I didn’t stand her up on purpose.

My phone was out of battery yesterday, and I went to the wrong place.

I ended up at ‘Heaven on Earth’ nightclub.

Interestingly enough, I accidentally encountered an extraordinarily beautiful woman, and then…

you know.”

“Damn, Big bro Yu, you’re the man!

So, you successfully scored a one-night stand?

But Big bro Yu, you’ve got to be careful with that kind of thing, make sure not to catch anything.”

“Don’t worry, it was her first time.”

“What?

Her first time?

Are you kidding me?

Big bro Yu, I’m going to duel you!

Last night I was with an intern designer, a senior in college.

I thought it would be a clean affair, but it turned out she was quite experienced.”

Upon hearing ‘intern designer,’ Qin Yu raised his eyebrows.

He needed to remind this kid; otherwise, he’d undoubtedly take Chu Xiaoxiao for a ride.

Qin Yu casually remarked, “Little Wuzi, today I sent you a future great designer named Chu Xiaoxiao.

Take good care of her, will you?”

“No problem.

Anyone Big bro Yu sends my way will be well looked after.

I’ll have the big designer personally mentor her.

By the way, I struggled last night to keep your excuse alive, so you’d better not slip up.

Just say you suddenly got called away on a mission.

Should I set up another date with Shen Qian?”

“Go ahead, let me see this peerlessly beautiful woman you’ve been raving about,” said Qin Yu casually.

He didn’t think Little Wuzi’s Shen Qian could be more beautiful than Su Ziyan.

“Alrighty, I just woke up and am a bit hungry.

Let’s meet at the western restaurant.”

“Okay, send me the address once you’ve confirmed it.”

Ten minutes later, Qin Yu received the address from Liu Tian.

Qin Yu called a Didi express car and arrived at Wellington Western Restaurant.

Wellington Western Restaurant was regarded as a high-end establishment in Luo City, frequented by the social elite.

Although Qin Yu had arrived by taxi and was dressed quite ordinarily, the well-trained doorman greeted him warmly.

“Sir, how many are you?”

“Have a reservation, table seven.”

“This way, sir,”

The doorman led Qin Yu enthusiastically, turning a corner quickly, and there was Liu Tian, waving to him from afar.

Liu Tian wore a Playboy pink short-sleeve shirt on top, black casual pants on the bottom, and his brown leather shoes were polished to a shine.

The Rolex gold watch on his wrist glittered.

His whole being exuded an elite aura.

Next to Liu Tian sat his sister Liu Xi, and sitting across from her was a girl in a black dress.

Just by her silhouette, Qin Yu gave a thumbs up, wondering what she looked like from the front?

Qin Yu hastened forward.

“Sorry for being late.

They say a girl changes at eighteen; little Xi is really getting more beautiful.”

Qin Yu sat down casually, teasing Liu Xi with a smile, never once glancing at the beauty by his side.

Liu Xi wore a cartoon-print shirt and a denim mini-skirt, revealing two youthful and healthy long legs.

With single eyelids, pink lips, and extremely white and tender skin, she appeared exceptionally pure, the epitome of the girl next door.

With Qin Yu’s compliment, a blush surfaced on Liu Xi’s face, and she felt secretly pleased, her expression coy.

“Brother Yu is really naughty, always teasing people.

Compared to Shen Qian, the elder sister, I have nothing to do with the word ‘beautiful.’ Shen Qian was the campus belle of Luo University, and people lined up from Luo University all the way to Capital City to chase after her!

Did I hear you stood Shen Qian up yesterday?

I really admire you!”

Qin Yu gave an embarrassed smile and turned to look at the beauty beside him.

And with that look, Qin Yu was completely stunned!

Holy crap!

Little Wu didn’t exaggerate; Shen Qian was a top-tier beauty!

However, Shen Qian wasn’t the same type as Su Ziyan.

Su Ziyan was dignified and elegant, while Shen Qian had an alluring and foxy charm.

The most enticing feature of Shen Qian for Qin Yu was also her eyes!

Shen Qian’s eyes were long and phoenix-shaped, as if they could speak, matched with her melon-seed face, she was a devastating beauty indeed!

Qin Yu struggled to swallow.

It seemed that regardless of being in the right or wrong place last night, it was a great romantic encounter!

But, with a player like Little Wu, how could he know such a high-class beauty?

Qin Yu took another glance at Shen Qian, who wore a slightly low-cut long dress, revealing her delicate collarbone.

A glittering Collarbone Chain lay on the collarbone, accentuating her crystal-clear skin, which was irresistibly delicate and tempting—a true disaster of beauty!

In fact, Shen Qian’s usual clothing style wasn’t so revealing.

With her naturally foxy charm, wearing seductive clothes would provoke men to commit crimes, wouldn’t it?

Today, Shen Qian deliberately dressed provocatively because she was angry.

How dare this jerk stood her up?

Unacceptable!

She decided she’d make this man fall at her feet and then kick him away to soothe her resentment.

“Miss Shen, hello, I’m Qin Yu.

Yesterday, I suddenly got called for an urgent task, so I had to turn off my phone.

I sincerely apologize to Miss Shen and hope for your forgiveness,”

Qin Yu’s eyes were candid, as if he was telling the absolute truth.

Liu Tian mentally gave him a thumbs-up; Brother Yu, your acting is wasted outside the entertainment industry.

I’m almost believing it myself!

An emergency task?

And needing to turn off the phone?

The annoyance in Shen Qian’s heart disappeared in an instant, and she scrutinized Qin Yu.

He had a high level of attractiveness, a nice build, and although dressed quite ordinarily, there was an unmistakable air of confidence emanating from him.

Not bad at all.

Shen Qian asked in a soft voice, “Little Xi mentioned, Mr.

Qin, that you are a special forces soldier?”
