Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 343: Revised: Volume 5 Chapter 1 Back into Trouble_2

He hesitated for a moment, then looked up and saw the fat man’s face twitching nervously. The fat man’s eyes were glancing at his lower body with some malicious intent, reminding him of that earth-shattering ”Monkey Stealing Peach” move earlier. He felt a chill down there and had no thoughts of resisting anymore. He immediately gave orders to his troops.

Ever since Wassim became the mayor of the 137th Division, he had stamped his mark on this unit.

In the 137th Division, every word from Wassim was a military order. For years, the mech warriors tortured by him only knew to obey and obey again! Even the regiment commanders were meek in front of Wassim. Although they didn’t know what was happening this time, they quickly followed the order.

When the Sharp Blade Company, led by the fat man, descended from the gentle slope, only about twenty mechas in the two fully-staffed regiments of the 137th Division could still move. The rest of the warriors could only watch helplessly as the Hunters aimed their large energy cannon muzzles at them, who were unarmed and defenseless.

”Deputy Commander...” Torick’s Sharp Blade Company was supplemented with over forty Eighth Generation mechas. Grinning widely, he asked joyfully, ”The enemy’s armored group from the west is approaching fast. What do we do now?”

”Run!” The fat man said without hesitation, ”With just these few, you think we can take them on again?”

Torick thought about it and sighed regretfully. Looking at the grouped Desic warriors, he frowned and asked, ”What do we do with these guys? Kill them all?”

”Kill them?” The fat man was startled.

”Yes. We can’t keep prisoners of war, so what else can we do?” Long-term warfare made Torick’s tone indifferent. Whether in Miloke or in Lucerne, the Sixteenth Division fought the hardest battles. For Torick and the others, it was a life-or-death world, and being merciful to the enemy was cruel to themselves.

”No way!” The fat man shook his head, ”If these more than a thousand people were killed without resistance, the Desic Empire would use all its forces to hunt us down. Besides, they would vastly overestimate our strength. We can’t do this!”

”Then release them?” Torick thought the fat man was too merciful.

”Release them?” The fat man glared, controlling [Logic] as he walked toward the prisoners, ”Hell no, there’s no such good deal!”

Amid the violent explosions of hundreds of mechas, the fat man’s face was illuminated red.

”Take off your clothes! Everyone strip!” He shouted excitedly, dancing and gesturing wildly, ”Line up by size, and if you move slowly, don’t expect to have any size left!”

Watching Wassim and other Desic warriors getting stripped clean and driven into a hollow at one end of the canyon, and seeing the broken Magic Beasts move large stones to seal the entrance, Torick and others were stunned. They sighed inwardly, thinking that in such cold weather, being locked in the mountain naked was worse than a quick death by a cannon shot! Clearly, the earlier interrupt of Monkey Stealing Peach had left a significant psychological shadow on the fat man, making him explode at the sight of over a thousand Momotaros!

After finishing the malicious act, the fat man was about to climb the mountain to admire his masterpiece but was interrupted by the little kid saying, ”Fatty, don’t say I didn’t remind you, I found that woman!”

The fat man was taken aback, ”Which woman?”

The little kid, feeling contempt even as an AI for this heartless bastard, sighed and brought up a satellite image on the mecha computer, saying, ”The one you raped.”

In the image, Bonnie was silently hugging her knees, sitting on a hilltop by the northern canyon, staring into the distance in a daze.

On her right, three [Vajra] mechas were watching her from a distance. A few kilometers away, the Mythical Mecha Group was crossing the canyon, moving towards Bonnie.

Staring at the satellite image, the fat man was silent for a long time, losing the mood to admire his handiwork. He handed the SkyNet Accessor, taken from Wassim’s [Thunder Warrior] mecha computer, to the little kid, saying, ”Hook it up.” Then, he waved to order the Sharp Blade Company to retreat.

Over a hundred mechas rushed through the mountains at high speed. After a long time, the little kid finished connecting the accessor and, seeing the fat man silent, couldn’t help but jump onto the control panel and ask, ”Aren’t you going to find her?”

As [Logic] jumped over a small creek, the fat man sighed and asked back, ”How did you find her?”

The little kid replied, ”I spotted her while checking on that army group with the satellite.”

”Have the first and second regiments completed the enemy insertion?”

”Almost. The tail end of that group has passed our troops’ hiding spot.”

The little kid, being cheeky, noticed the fat man avoiding the topic and couldn’t help but ask again, ”Are you really not going to find her?”

”Hell no!” The fat man angrily replied, ”She used to be the commander of that group, and those coming for her are her own people!”

”Oh!” The little kid realized, ”So that’s it. From now on, when you rape, just rape the enemy; it doesn’t affect your conscience if they’re not our people!”

”Scram!”

A hundred Hunter mechas formed a triangular assault formation, protecting the electronic mechas and heavy attack mechas in the center as they sped north through the mountains.
