Wrong Flirt, Right Trouble: His Uncle Pulls Me Close

Late at night, after another intimate encounter between Silas Blackwood and Anna Nash, Anna had fallen into a deep sleep in his arms.

Silas Blackwood lit a cigarette for himself, but he couldn’t fall asleep no matter what.

’The woman in his arms was as beautiful as ever—a pure, innocent little flower, still so naive and unaware of the world’s dangers. But Silas Blackwood felt that he didn’t seem to like her as much anymore.’

Anna Nash was just too clingy, unable to leave his side for a single moment. If he wanted to do something else, Anna would start whimpering, which he found a bit annoying.

And with Anna constantly wrapped around him, he couldn’t even go find other women. Although Anna was skilled in bed and could please him, he still felt like something had changed.

This apartment was a gift from him to Anna Nash, worth over twenty million, and she had decorated it to be very cozy.

Before, it felt very much like a home. But looking at it now, he thought Ivy Sherwood’s place seemed to be decorated even better.

The last time he’d eaten her cooking, Ivy Sherwood’s food seemed more delicious too.

He didn’t know why he kept thinking about Ivy Sherwood lately. And whenever he thought of that woman, his heart would fill with endless frustration.

After finishing one cigarette, Silas Blackwood immediately lit another, chain-smoking one after the other.

After several cigarettes, he finally picked up his phone and saw a message from one of his subordinates.

”Young President Beckett, is this the person you had us investigate before?” His subordinate had also sent him a few video clips from a fashion show.

The star of the videos was wearing a veil, revealing only her eyes. She was mysterious and beautiful, instantly capturing one’s attention.

Silas Blackwood was both thrilled and shocked, his gaze fixed on the video, unable to look away.

That kind of beauty struck his mind. His heart, which had just felt so listless, suddenly began to beat again.

Just watching the video made him feel his blood boil with excitement.

Just moments ago, during his intimacy with Anna Nash, he’d felt little interest. Anna had tried everything she could, but he remained largely unmoved. Yet now, the woman in the video had done nothing, and just a single glance at her was enough to give him an erection.

He wanted her. He wanted her desperately!

’If I could marry her in this lifetime, be with her just once, I could die without any regrets.’

The video wasn’t long, and Ivy Sherwood only appeared three times, but Silas Blackwood felt like he had fallen in love.

Her every glance seemed to be seducing him.

Silas Blackwood quickly replied, ”Where is this? She’s already walking in a fashion show, and you still can’t find any information on her?!”

Silas Blackwood wanted all her information. He had to have this woman!

Silas Blackwood’s eyes remained glued to the screen. As the woman on the runway moved, the camera panned for a moment to the audience below the stage.

He, of course, instantly spotted the man in the audience. ’Quentin Blackwood is there too?’

He’d forgotten that this woman had an ambiguous relationship with Quentin Blackwood. Her being in a show like this was probably because Quentin was backing her.

And that look in Quentin Blackwood’s eyes... The man, who was normally so stern and unsmiling, was actually staring at a woman without blinking.

Silas Blackwood was incredibly jealous, almost mad with it.

’Why does Quentin Blackwood get all the good things? What the hell am I, Silas Blackwood, lacking?!’

Soon, Silas Blackwood received a file.

Silas Blackwood opened it excitedly. ’The woman I’ve been investigating for so long... am I finally going to find out about her?’

The name on it was unfamiliar to Silas Blackwood; he’d never heard it before. Her profession was listed as a model. ’No wonder she’s so beautiful.’

She had also collaborated with Nina Scott, which explained why she had appeared at the Scott Family’s banquet last time.

Because Silas Blackwood had only requested information, there was no photo included.

So he naturally assumed that the model who hadn’t shown up due to a sprained ankle was the woman he was looking for!

’Now that I have her information, it’s all good,’ Silas Blackwood thought. He decided not to rush. He needed to be a gentleman, approach her slowly, and ask her out.

Silas Blackwood couldn’t wait a single moment. He got right out of bed.

Hearing the movement, Anna Nash woke up. She hugged Silas Blackwood’s waist. ”Silas, where are you going so late?”

Silas Blackwood’s voice held a trace of impatience. ”I have something to do.”

Anna Nash tried to make him stay, but she couldn’t, and could only watch helplessly as Silas Blackwood got dressed and left.

She sat up in bed, biting her lip hard.

Even though Silas Blackwood had been with her these past few days, she could feel that his heart wasn’t in it.

Before, Silas Blackwood had loved her body, but now, it was always over in a rush.

’It’s a shame my stomach still hasn’t shown any signs,’ Anna Nash thought resentfully as she picked up her phone and dialed a number. ”Gideon Gordon, come pick me up.”

’Does Silas Blackwood really think I moan so loudly every time because it feels good? In reality, he’s just awful in bed, and he’s so small, too.’

Gideon Gordon was different. The first time she met him in the parking lot, right before being caught by Caleb Blackwood, he had forced himself on her. Only then did Anna Nash experience for the first time just how incredibly pleasurable this kind of thing could be.

Other than having no money, Gideon Gordon was countless times better than Silas Blackwood.

These past few days, whenever Silas Blackwood wasn’t around, she would go find Gideon Gordon.

And she was a woman who understood how to play her cards. ’Only by tying a string around a man’s neck can you let him go when you want and pull him back when you want.’

That Gideon Gordon was already under her control.

...

Silas Blackwood rushed to the neighboring city immediately, as the address on the file showed that she lived there.

But after waiting for a whole day without seeing her, Silas Blackwood had to return to Lustre for work.

While passing by Ivy Sherwood’s studio, a thought crossed Silas Blackwood’s mind: ’What is that woman doing right now?’

So, Silas Blackwood got out of the car and walked straight into Ivy Sherwood’s studio.

Edie already disliked this rude man, and now that he had just barged in, she said, ”Our Ivy isn’t here.”

Silas Blackwood didn’t believe her and insisted on going inside to look. After waiting for quite a while, he found that Ivy Sherwood really wasn’t there.

”Where’s Ivy Sherwood? When is she coming back?”

Edie said, ”She’s on a business trip. She won’t be back for a while.”

”A business trip?” Silas Blackwood was surprised. ”Where did she go?”

’Why is everyone out of Lustre?’

Edie had no intention of telling him. Silas Blackwood wanted to call Ivy Sherwood, but he knew she wouldn’t pick up.

So he looked at Ivy Sherwood’s little assistant and demanded, ”You, call Ivy Sherwood!”

Edie was reluctant, but Silas Blackwood looked menacing, and she was a little scared, so she had no choice but to call Ivy.

Seeing the call from her assistant, Ivy Sherwood assumed it was about work and answered, ”Hello, Edie, what’s wrong?”

”It’s me,” Silas Blackwood’s voice came through the phone.

Ivy Sherwood’s voice immediately turned cold. ”What did you do to Edie?”

”What could I possibly do to her? More importantly, where did you go on this business trip?”

”It’s none of your business.”

Silas Blackwood grew angry. ”I’m your fiancé! If I can’t ask, who can? Quentin Blackwood?”

Ivy Sherwood: ”...”

’Do all men like to bring up other men when they get angry?’

’Quentin Blackwood always brings up Seth Scott, and now this Silas Blackwood is always bringing up Quentin.’

Silas Blackwood said, ”Let me tell you, you don’t stand a chance coveting Quentin Blackwood. He’s already returned to Aethelgard, and he even went to see his little lover’s fashion show. She’s a model, you know, and countless times better-looking than you!”

Ivy Sherwood: ”...”

’Why does this plot sound so familiar? This model, Quentin’s little lover... he couldn’t possibly be talking about me, could he?’
