The Strongest Urban Son-in-law

Chapter 36: Chapter 34: Dismissal of the Chairman

Liu Bing clutched his nose and bellowed angrily, ”You three actually dared to hit me, I’m going to fire you, get the hell out of here immediately!”

”Fire your mom!” Zheng Yonggang roared, leaping over and launching a flurry of punches and kicks at Liu Bing.

”Ah~~~” Liu Bing howled miserably under Zheng Yonggang’s onslaught, emitting hysterical screams as the scene turned extraordinarily gruesome.

”What’s going on?” The commotion quickly drew most people over.

Everyone froze, staring dumbfounded at Zheng Yonggang and the others: ”Mr. Zheng, who is he beating up?”

By this time, Liu Bing had been beaten beyond recognition, his features obscured, and everyone who saw Liu Bing’s tragic state felt a shiver run down their spines.

”Is that, isn’t that President Liu?” Wu Kexin exclaimed in surprise, shocked that such an incident had occurred in just a short time after she had stepped away.

”Stop it, stop it!” Liu Bing cried out incessantly, but without a command from Ye Feng, Zheng Yonggang would certainly not cease.

”Stop it right now!” A cold voice echoed in everyone’s ears.

Zheng Yonggang looked up to see Lin Shiyu and immediately stopped.

”Ye Feng, it’s you again!” Lin Shiyu glared at Ye Feng angrily, but he responded with nothing but disdain and did not offer any reply.

Lin Shiyu looked at Liu Bing, seeing him beaten to a pulp like a pig’s head, and her heart softened, her tone gentler than usual: ”Are you alright?”

”Alright! Mr. Lin, look at me, do I look alright to you? My teeth have been knocked out, my nose is broken, today is my first day at work! These three bastards, they dared to be so bold, I’m going to fire them, especially this bastard, he was the first to hit me, I’m going to kill him, let him roll up his bedding and leave now!” Liu Bing raged.

Those surrounding them looked helplessly at Ye Feng: ”Ye Feng really has guts, just a few days in the company and he dares to hit a director, he’s really going to be out of here now, not even Mr. Lin can save him!”

”Yes, I’ve heard Director Liu’s father has a piece of land that the Lin Family needs to acquire for a big project. If President Liu is offended, his father simply won’t sign a contract to sell the land; that’s why Mr. Lin had invited President Liu to be a director in our company!” The crowd discussed amongst themselves, convinced that Ye Feng and his companions would be leaving.

”Mr. Lin, I want to use my authority as the HR Director now, I’m going to fire the three of them on the spot!” Liu Bing shouted.

However, Lin Shiyu just helplessly closed her mouth and remained silent.

”Mr. Lin, say something? I’m firing three little employees, you don’t mind, right?” Liu Bing asked as he looked at Lin Shiyu.

Just then, Lin Shiyu replied with resignation, ”Sorry, you don’t have the authority to fire them...”

”What!” Upon hearing Lin Shiyu’s words, everyone present was stunned, standing still in disbelief.

”Mr. Lin, what kind of joke is this? I am the HR Director. Three little security guards, and you’re telling me I don’t have the authority to fire them?” Liu Bing felt it was laughably absurd.

Not only Liu Bing, but everyone present also felt puzzled.

Lin Shiyu pointed at Ye Feng and said indifferently, ”He is the Chairman. How can you, a director, fire him?”

”What!” In that instant, everyone at the scene shouted in shock, their eyes wide, unable to believe what they were hearing—that Ye Feng was the Chairman of the Lin Group.

”Impossible! How can he be the Chairman? He’s clearly just a lowly security guard!” Liu Bing refused to believe it.

Actually, Sir Lin Zhen had already transferred shares on Saturday.

Ye Feng now had 40 percent of the shares, while Lin Zhen and Lin Shiyu each held 30 percent.

Although Ye Feng held the most shares, he and Lin Shiyu were married, sharing their wealth without distinction.

”Mr. Lin, I don’t believe it. You’re not just coming up with an excuse not to fire them and fooling us, are you?” Liu Bing simply couldn’t believe it.

Lin Shiyu shook her head helplessly, ”If you don’t believe me, I’ll show you the share transfer contract...”

Soon, Lin Shiyu brought over the share transfer agreement, which Liu Bing began to read.

With a ”slap,” Liu Bing’s hand trembled, and the contract fell to the ground as he succumbed to complete despair.

”How is this possible! He really is the Chairman!” Liu Bing screamed in agony.

”It’s actually true!” Everyone was shocked; they couldn’t imagine that Ye Feng, a security guard who had only been in the company a few days, was like an emperor in disguise, working as a lowly security guard at the very bottom.

”Liu Bing, now do you want to fire your Chairman?” Lin Shiyu asked, looking coldly at Liu Bing.

Liu Bing stood there dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.

”Ha ha ha~~~” Suddenly, Liu Bing burst into crazed laughter, then glared anger at Zhao Ziming.

”Zhao Ziming, you’re impressive, getting yourself such a powerful backer, the Chairman of the Lin Group. I admit defeat today!”

As his words fell, Liu Bing glared at Lin Shiyu, ”Lin Shiyu, in that case, I quit! But as for that piece of land you want, dream on; just wait for the loss!”

Lin Shiyu’s expression turned grim. That particular project was a huge investment for the Lin Group, and not obtaining it would mean a loss of at least two billion—a loss significant enough to trouble them for a long time.

Zhao Ziming looked at Ye Feng with embarrassment, ”Ye Feng, I’m sorry for causing such a big loss because of me...”

Ye Feng shook his head, ”He’s the college rival you told me about, right? No worries, his land is still ours...”

Ye Feng then picked up the phone and dialed Liu Mu’s number.

”Heavenly Monarch, what can I do for you?” Liu Mu’s voice came through the phone.

”Help me check on a guy named Liu Bing in Lin Tian City. His family’s assets should be over a hundred million. You have five minutes!”

”Yes, Heavenly Monarch!”

After hanging up, Liu Bing sneered, ”What are you trying to pull, asking for my information? I’ll tell you myself. My father, Liu Zhengda, is the prince of the Golden Dragon Group. Our Liu Family has assets in the tens of billions; even the head of the four wealthiest Li Family wouldn’t dare mess with us at once. I want to see what you can do!”

Liu Bing then called his father Liu Zhengda directly.

”This is outrageous, utterly excessive; fear not, son, if the sky falls down, your dad will hold it up!”

Boosted by his father’s backing, Liu Bing grew even more composed.

Everyone around looked at Ye Feng, utterly unconvinced that Ye Feng had any means to deal with the situation.
