Urban Martial Saint

Just as the Sha Men’s group and the Seven Families’ group were at a standstill, two people were quickly making their way up the mountain path. These two were none other than Ning Qianshu’s disciples, Liu Ruxiang and Zhou Yuliang.

”Senior Brother, what do you think Master is planning? Why does he want us to give this opportunity to Huangfu Ziyu?” Zhou Yuliang asked, frustrated.

Liu Ruxiang replied, ”This isn’t Master’s idea. I heard it’s the plan of Heavenly Master Lin Xuan Yue!”

”What is the Heavenly Master trying to do? Giving the opportunity to Huangfu Ziyu means letting her get the Sun-shooting Bow!” Zhou Yuliang said, ”Huangfu Ziyu is a member of the Seven Families, and she has such a good relationship with Ye Qing. If she gets the Sun-shooting Bow, it won’t benefit us at all!”

”It may not be so simple!” Liu Ruxiang said, ”I heard that the Huangfu Household has long since left the Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance, and their relationship isn’t very good now. So, if Huangfu Ziyu gets the Sun-shooting Bow, it may not be a good thing for the Seven Steering Committees. Furthermore, considering Huangfu Ziyu’s relationship with Ye Qing, once she has the Sun-shooting Bow, Ye Qing can borrow it. Don’t forget, Ding Lianshun and Yin Xianzi are still trapped on Beimang Mountain. To rescue them, the Sun-shooting Bow is necessary. If it’s in Huangfu Ziyu’s hands, Ye Qing can borrow it!”

”Then why not directly give this opportunity to Ye Qing?” Zhou Yuliang questioned, ”Why go through Huangfu Ziyu?”

”That, I don’t know,” Liu Ruxiang said, ”But the Heavenly Master never makes mistakes in his schemes. If he wants us to give the Sun-shooting Bow to Huangfu Ziyu, there must be a reason.”

At this moment, on the mountaintop, the standoff between the Seven Families and the Sha Men was reaching a tense moment.

Suddenly, a figure shot out from the crowd and quickly moved next to Huangfu Ziyu, delivering a heavy palm strike that knocked her down, then grabbed Ye Qing and retreated. The movement was so quick, no one present could react in time.

”Hahaha...” The person who made the move was none other than Prince Wan Yan, who laughed heartily and said, ”Ye Qing, I’ve long said that I’ll kill you with my own hands. Let’s see where you can run to today!”

As Prince Wan Yan finished speaking, he extended his right hand and delivered a heavy strike aimed at Ye Qing’s forehead. Huangfu Ziyu hurriedly tried to intervene, and the Sha Men members shouted, but it was too late; Ye Qing still took the hit.

Prince Wan Yan’s strength needed no words. This strike would certainly shatter someone’s Heavenly Spirit Cover and ensure their death.

”Prince Wan Yan, I’ll fight you to the death!” Huangfu Ziyu screamed madly, charging at Prince Wan Yan without any regard for her own life.

”Then I’ll fulfill your wish!” Prince Wan Yan shouted, lifting his hand to strike Huangfu Ziyu, intending to kill her with one move.

At this instant, the Right Protector rushed over to block Huangfu Ziyu. However, while he managed to stop Huangfu Ziyu, he couldn’t avoid Prince Wan Yan’s attack from behind, taking a heavy strike to the back.

The Right Protector was sent flying, landed on the ground, coughed up a few mouthfuls of blood, and his head slowly drooped to the side, unable to utter even a single word before being struck dead by Prince Wan Yan.

”Wan Yan Zong, how dare you kill a member of the Seven Families!” Ao Wuchang roared.

Prince Wan Yan laughed, ”Hmph, didn’t you say it yourselves? The Huangfu Household has long since betrayed the Seven Families, and aren’t members anymore. Why shouldn’t I kill him? Moreover, I’ve helped you kill Ye Qing, shouldn’t you be thanking me?”

”Prince Wan Yan!” Cui Yu’s face was filled with frenzy as he howled to the sky, ”My Sha Men will wipe out your entire clan!”

Prince Wan Yan responded defiantly, ”Once I get the Sun-shooting Bow, I’ll destroy your Sha Men first!”

The crowd immediately erupted into arguments, while at this moment, Huangfu Ziyu seemed to have lost all strength, collapsing to the ground. Watching Ye Qing and the Right Protector fallen on both sides, she seemed to lose her senses, forgetting everything she was doing.

In that instant, the man she loved most was killed, and her only surviving uncle also died to save her. Her life had never been so bleak, not even when her family was wiped out twenty years ago!

The noise of the world faded, as she sat on the ground, gazing at Ye Qing and the Right Protector without a word or blinking an eye.

Just then, a long cry sounded at the doorway, and everyone turned their heads in unison to see a dazzling white light shoot out from the door. Following that, a three-foot-long bow flew out from the door, soaring into the sky, and landed at the top of the hall, hovering there as if weightless.

”The Sun-shooting Bow! The Sun-shooting Bow has appeared!”

Everyone grew excited, and the people who had been facing off earlier no longer cared about their previous conflict, hurriedly rushing towards the Sun-shooting Bow’s position.

Cui Yu was initially furious, but seeing the Sun Shooting Bow appear, he knew the main task took precedence. So, he whistled softly, signaling the white-haired Ding San to release Zhou Junhan and the Patriarch of the Zhou Family, as they needed to seize the Sun Shooting Bow first!

Everyone rushed forward, and from the main gate, a group emerged—fourteen people who had entered earlier. Among them, Huangfu Zilong was helping his sister limp out; it was evident that both of them were seriously injured.

Those who emerged immediately joined the struggle for the Sun Shooting Bow. Meanwhile, Huangfu Zilong supported his sister and walked to Huangfu Ziyu’s side. Just as he was about to speak, he saw Ye Qing and the Right Protector lying on the ground and was instantly shocked, exclaiming, ”Sister, what happened?”

Huangfu Ziyu didn’t speak, appearing as if her soul had left her body. Huangfu Zilong glanced at the two on the ground and then at the crowd fighting for the Sun Shooting Bow, suddenly gritting his teeth and saying, ”I’ll get the Sun Shooting Bow back!”

”Brother!” his sister exclaimed anxiously, ”Don’t try to seize it; you can’t beat them!”

”Even so, I must try!” Huangfu Zilong responded angrily, ”If we don’t get the Sun Shooting Bow, we’ll always be trampled underfoot!”

After declaring this, Huangfu Zilong let out a loud roar and rushed over, blending into the crowd to seize the Sun Shooting Bow.

The Sun Shooting Bow hung high above the hall and hadn’t fallen down yet, but the people below had already started fighting. It was indeed a melee, with no previous grudges, yet they now fought desperately just to get a bit closer to the Sun Shooting Bow.

Before long, dozens of corpses lay on the ground of the hall—the unfortunate ones who died amidst the chaos. These miserable wretches didn’t even touch the Sun Shooting Bow before losing their lives.

Huangfu Zilong didn’t delve into the crowd. Seeing the Sun Shooting Bow’s position, he ran to the side and started climbing up the stone wall. However, he hadn’t climbed far when a cold voice called out from behind, ”You’re quite clever, climbing the wall. But who the hell allowed you to seize it?”

With these words, a large hand grabbed Huangfu Zilong’s ankle and threw him aside. Huangfu Zilong saw clearly that it was one of the family heads of the Seven Families, an elder of his. Yet, at this moment, there was no shred of kinship left among these people.

Gritting his teeth, Huangfu Zilong got up from the ground, ready to change positions and try again, only to be sent flying again.

”Get lost, there’s no place for you here!”

Again, it was a member of the Seven Families, showing not a trace of mercy for Huangfu Zilong.

After several clashes, Huangfu Zilong gained nothing, only to be beaten by a dozen people. More than half were members of the Seven Families, leaving him battered and unable to even stand up by the end.

”Huangfu Zilong, with your skills, you shouldn’t bother trying to seize it!” suddenly, a voice said. It was Zhou Junsheng, standing behind Huangfu Zilong, gripping his shoulder with a cold smile, ”It seems your Huangfu Household is going to be wiped out this time!”

Saying that, Zhou Junsheng raised his hand, ready to strike Huangfu Zilong’s head. Earlier, when Huangfu Zilong falsely accused Zhou Chengtian, Zhou Junsheng had long wanted to kill him. Amidst the melee, he finally got his chance and didn’t hold back.

Just as his hand was about to hit Huangfu Zilong’s head, a sudden roar came from behind. Before Zhou Junsheng could react, someone abruptly hugged him from behind and forcibly pushed him forward.

”What are you doing?” Zhou Junsheng hastily tried to stand firm, but the person behind seemed desperate, lifting him up and charging forward. Not far ahead was the main gate. Once through, they’d enter the inner tomb, activating all the traps inside. No one would make it out alive!

Watching himself get closer to the inner tomb, Zhou Junsheng panicked, but there was nothing he could do; he could only scream as he was pushed into the tomb. Of course, the person hugging him from behind also rushed in; neither escaped fate.

”Huangfu Ziyu!” At this moment, Liu Ruxiang and Zhou Yuliang arrived, seeing clearly that it was Huangfu Ziyu who had pushed Zhou Junsheng into the inner tomb.

”Quick!” Liu Ruxiang yelled, dashing to the gate, throwing something unknown with his right hand, hitting Huangfu Ziyu’s back.

The object struck Huangfu Ziyu’s back, immediately emitting a dazzling light similar to that of the Sun Shooting Bow.

In that instant, the Sun Shooting Bow let out another long cry, as if drawn, and shot into the gate, entering the inner tomb.

The people outside, struggling for the bow, were dumbfounded; nobody knew what had happened. With the Sun Shooting Bow entering the inner tomb, they lost all chance of seizing it because they couldn’t enter the inner tomb!

At that moment, as if in a miracle, Ye Qing, who had been lying on the ground, supposedly killed by Prince Wan Yan, twitched his eyelids. After a whole day of unconsciousness, he was finally about to awaken!
