Hearing the veiled insults from the Bloody Monk, the group immediately became furious. One of them stepped forward and angrily said, ”Brother Helian, this Bloody Monk sent his men to spy on the secrets of our Seven Families. After being captured, he even injured our members and dared to speak madness here, insulting the Seven Families. This is absolutely unforgivable.”

Helian Tiehua frowned slightly. He looked at the Bloody Monk and said, ”To the Sect Leader, our Seven Families have no secrets to hide. The affairs of the Seven Families, the Sect Leader is likely more familiar with them than anyone present here. What is there to spy on?”

”Hahaha...” The Bloody Monk laughed loudly and said, ”Helian Tiehua, I love hearing these words of yours. Hmph, accusing me of spying on your Seven Families’ secrets? What a colossal joke! Is there any matter of the Seven Families I am not thoroughly familiar with? Regarding the affairs of the Heaven, Earth, and Man Three Gates, even if all your Seven Families combined, you wouldn’t know more than I do. The Great Tomb for the Sun Shooting Bow was designed and built with help from our Xiaolin Temple. Talking about secrets of the Seven Families is laughable. I know more about the situation inside the Great Tomb than you all do. What is there for me to spy on? If you plan to frame me, don’t even weigh the ramifications first; it’s like showing off your axe before Lu Ban, bringing ridicule upon yourself!”

The members of the Seven Families were all wide-eyed, not knowing these hidden matters, so they were each more shocked than the last, and they all looked towards Helian Tiehua.

Helian Tiehua slowly nodded, which was an acknowledgment of what the Bloody Monk said. At that moment, the Seven Families were even more shocked, and each person’s complexion changed. This meant that their attempt to frame the Bloody Monk was entirely self-defeating.

”Brother Helian, we really didn’t know about these things. As the saying goes, those who don’t know are not blamed; this can’t be entirely our fault,” Zhou Junsheng suddenly said. ”Moreover, these two people appeared sneakily outside our Seven Families’ manor during such a crucial time; nothing ought to go awry. It’s normal for us to suspect them. However, after the Blood Robe Sect Leader arrived, without explanation, he favored his subordinates, insulting and injuring the members of our Seven Families. Isn’t it somewhat overbearing?”

”It’s overbearing that I insulted and injured your Seven Families’ members?” the Bloody Monk coldly said. ”When you caught my disciples, did you listen to their explanation? Did you let them explain when you beat my disciples? Speaking of being overbearing, who can compare to you of the Seven Families!”

The Seven Families were at a loss for words. When they captured the Left Protector and Cui Yulong, they obviously did not allow any explanation. Now that the Bloody Monk brought this up, they had no way to argue.

”Sect Leader, I think these are all misunderstandings!” Helian Tiehua said, looking at the Bloody Monk. ”Actually, if the members of the Sha Men want to visit as guests, a word would suffice, no need for all this. It’s bound to be troublesome when misunderstandings arise!”

”Being guests, that’s not necessary. I don’t see anything admirable in your Seven Families deserving my visit. It’s only that today, we are delivering someone!” The Bloody Monk paused and turned to look at Huangfu Ziyu beside him. He said, ”Huangfu Ziyu, I leave Ye Qing to you. I believe you can take care of him well.”

”Ye Qing?” Helian Tiehua was slightly surprised. He turned to glance at Huangfu Ziyu and asked, ”What about Ye Qing?”

Huangfu Ziyu was about to speak when the Bloody Monk had already opened his mouth: ”Ye Qing was injured by some unknown person, with a chaotic surge of True Qi inside him, threatening to cause his body to explode at any moment. The True Qi in Ye Qing’s body, as you are aware, cannot be suppressed merely by us alone. Fortunately, his body has a strong self-healing capability. Once the current matter is resolved, and we locate Shen Tianjun and my few senior brothers, we can join forces, perhaps able to suppress the True Qi. But for now, you and I can do nothing!”

”Is that so?” Helian Tiehua frowned. He admired Ye Qing and was concerned to learn of his injury.

”General Helian, I trust you are a man who stands tall on the heavens and the earth, which is why I am leaving Ye Qing here. But...” the Bloody Monk paused, casting a cold glance over the members of the Seven Families, he said, ”If I find out anyone dares harm Ye Qing behind the shadows, I will ensure blood stains every home. The reason we of the Sha Men have lasted till now is because Ye Qing alone saved us. He saved over a dozen lives; I can repay him with over a hundred. While the members of the Seven Families are many, having one or two hundred killed ought to suffice in wiping out a clan, no?”

The members of the Seven Families became incredibly gloomy, hearing the Bloody Monk’s proclamation of exterminating them while they dared not retaliate verbally. This was utterly humiliating. They had no choice; they witnessed the Bloody Monk’s formidable abilities firsthand, which they couldn’t contend with.

Great General Helian Tiehua was naturally unafraid of the Bloody Monk, but seeing Helian Tiehua’s demeanor, he evidently had no plan to clash with the Bloody Monk, leaving everyone feeling aggrieved.

”Sect Leader, rest assured, Ye Qing and I have some connections. With him here, I will naturally take good care of him!” Helian Tiehua said loudly. ”Once this matter is over, I hope the Sect Leader personally visits Humeng City, for us to drink a few cups together!”

The Bloody Monk waved his hand and said, ”Forget about drinking; as a monk, I must not break my vows!”

The Seven Families nearly choked on blood. You are a monk, abstaining from alcohol, yet have no qualms about killing? What kind of nonsense tradition is this?

”If so, then we will prepare a vegetarian feast, waiting for the Sect Leader’s esteemed presence!” Helian Tiehua said with a smile.

”We’ll see about that!” The Bloody Monk then turned to the Seven Families’ members and said, ”What, aren’t you preparing to give me the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade, or do you wish for me to stay a bit longer?”

The Seven Families were furious inside, all turning to Helian Tiehua, waiting for him to resolve the matter.

”Go fetch the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade and return it to Mr. Cui Er!” Helian Tiehua instructed his subordinates.

”Great General...” Zhou Junsheng beside him wanted to speak but was stopped by a wave of Helian Tiehua’s hand.

Helian Tiehua’s subordinate went over, took the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade and handed it to the Bloody Monk personally.

Receiving the Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade, the Bloody Monk sneered coldly and casually handed it to Cui Yulong beside him, then said loudly: ”Great General, see you tomorrow night!”

After speaking, the Bloody Monk turned around, taking the Left Protector and Cui Yulong out of the manor of the Seven Families.

Seeing the Bloody Monk leave, the people of the Seven Families hurriedly gathered around Helian Tiehua, asking why he didn’t keep the Bloody Monk. The tones of these people were somewhat angry. If it weren’t for Helian Tiehua’s formidable strength, they would have certainly demanded an explanation.

”All clan leaders, please go to the main building. I will come over and discuss this matter with you in detail later!” Helian Tiehua waved to the crowd, then turned to Huangfu Ziyu and asked, ”Ziyu, how is Ye Qing now?”

”Not good, he’s still in a coma,” Huangfu Ziyu said worriedly. Hearing the Bloody Monk talk about Ye Qing’s condition earlier had left her very concerned.

”Take me to see him!” Helian Tiehua demanded.

”Alright!” Huangfu Ziyu quickly led the way, bringing Helian Tiehua to her room where Ye Qing was already lying on the bed.

Seeing Ye Qing’s condition, Helian Tiehua frowned slightly. He walked up to Ye Qing’s side, felt his pulse, and his expression immediately turned grave.

”Uncle Helian, how is Ye Qing?” Huangfu Ziyu asked nervously on the side, becoming even more worried upon seeing Helian Tiehua’s expression.

Helian Tiehua said solemnly, ”All his meridians are broken, the True Qi inside him is crashing around, tearing his body apart, and his life is at risk at any moment!”

”Ah?” Huangfu Ziyu’s face turned pale and she hurriedly asked, ”Uncle Helian, how...how can we save him?”

”With his meridians broken, he’s essentially crippled. Unless the Divine Doctor An Shiping is reborn, or someone can reconnect his meridians. Otherwise, to save his life, there is only one way...” Helian Tiehua took a deep breath and said solemnly, ”That is to eliminate all the True Qi inside him!”

”This...” Huangfu Ziyu was momentarily at a loss. It was certainly impossible for the Divine Doctor An Shiping to be reborn, so does that really mean they must disperse Ye Qing’s True Qi?

”Well... neither King Yan Ning Qianshu nor Sai Hua Tuo Baili Xi can reconnect his meridians?” Huangfu Ziyu asked softly.

”I’m afraid not!” Helian Tiehua shook his head and said solemnly, ”Sai Hua Tuo Baili Xi himself has all his meridians broken and has lost all his inner strength. If he could reconnect his own meridians, would he still be in such a situation? King Yan Ning Qianshu is his junior brother, and his strength is below Baili Xi. If Baili Xi can’t do something, then he certainly can’t either!”

”Then... what can be done?” Tears welled up in Huangfu Ziyu’s eyes.

”The only solution is to disperse his Inner Strength!” Helian Tiehua sighed and said, ”But, this isn’t an easy task. The True Qi inside him is likely the result of Northern Fist King Li Sange’s years of accumulated Inner Strength, comparable to the Five Uniques. It’s not something that can be easily eliminated. We would need to gather at least three masters comparable to the Five Uniques to disperse his Inner Strength. This might require Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun and the Bloody Monk to join forces, which can’t be done for now!”

”Then what should he do now?” Huangfu Ziyu was so anxious she was on the verge of tears.

Helian Tiehua looked at Ye Qing, remained silent for a long while, then took a bottle of medicine out and said solemnly, ”This is a Life-saving Pill that the Divine Doctor An Shiping gave to my master many years ago. If Ye Qing can’t hold on, give him one, it will be enough to save his life. Once the matter of the Sun Shooting Bow is dealt with, I’ll go find Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun to save Ye Qing’s life first and then we’ll talk about it further!”

Receiving the Life-saving Pill handed over by Helian Tiehua, Huangfu Ziyu’s eyes finally overflowed with tears. She could never have imagined that upon seeing Ye Qing again, it would be under such circumstances.
