Urban Martial Saint

”Minghong Knife?” The Earl widened his eyes and repeated the name, clearly still not quite coming to terms with it.

”The Minghong Knife and the Xuanyuan Sword are made of the same material and crafted by the same person, and its power is not much less than that of the Xuanyuan Sword!” The Bishop paused and said, ”It can be said that if the Minghong Knife was in the hands of an ordinary person, they could easily kill a Red-robed Archbishop!”

”It’s just a weapon, is it really that powerful?” The Earl finally had some doubts.

”You’ve never seen the power of the Sun Shooting Bow. However, back in the day, how many of our Red-robed Archbishops were killed under the Sun Shooting Bow; you should have heard of this, right?” The Bishop said solemnly, ”The power of the Sun Shooting Bow is immense, and the power of the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife will be even stronger!”

The Earl immediately closed his mouth, as he had come to resolve matters regarding the Sun Shooting Bow and was naturally aware of its power. The power of the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife being above that of the Sun Shooting Bow was something he could hardly imagine. Just how powerful were these Famed Instruments?

The Bishop said, ”However, it is unfortunate—or perhaps fortunate—that the Xuanyuan Sword and the Minghong Knife have been lost since their creation. For thousands of years, they have not appeared, nor has anyone found these two most powerful weapons!”

”Could this be a myth fabricated by people?” The Earl asked.

”I’m afraid not.” The Bishop shook his head and said, ”Because we have clues to the Minghong Knife!”

”Ah!?” The Earl’s face was immediately filled with excitement and eagerness, saying, ”The Minghong Knife... where is the Minghong Knife?”

”No one knows where the Minghong Knife is, but...” The Bishop paused and said solemnly, ”The Great Elder once obtained a treasure in Huaxia, and after his appraisal, this treasure is likely the scabbard of the Minghong Knife!”

”What!?” The Earl faltered for a moment and said, ”Just... just the scabbard?”

”Humph, just the scabbard?” The Bishop glanced at the Earl and said, ”Do you think a scabbard is simple? Let me tell you, several Elders who have seen the scabbard have been injured by it. Though it is only a scabbard, its power is already quite terrifying!”

”Can a scabbard hurt people?” The Earl wondered, ”Is the Great Elder using that scabbard?”

”No!” The Bishop shook his head and said, ”I heard from the Great Elder that it’s the saber qi contained within the scabbard, undispersed for a thousand years, terrifying in power, almost like a blade. If you dare to approach, you’ll be harmed by that saber qi!”

”How... how is this possible?” The Earl had an incredulous expression.

The Bishop said, ”If you don’t believe it, you can go back and ask Duke Bryant; he has seen the scabbard with his own eyes, and he got injured by it as well!”

”Duke Bryant?” The Earl exclaimed, then fell silent again. With the Bishop saying this, he was completely convinced of the matter.

”So, doesn’t that mean the Minghong Knife is even more formidable?” The Earl asked.

”The Great Elder has mentioned that the power of the Minghong Knife is likely beyond our estimation!” The Bishop said.

”Then... where exactly is the Minghong Knife?” The Earl asked urgently, ”If people from Huaxia find that Minghong Knife, aren’t we doomed? Who can stand against the Minghong Knife!”

”That’s the most crucial matter.” The Bishop said, ”When the Great Elder found the scabbard of the Minghong Knife, inside it, he also discovered a map left for thousands of years. The Great Elder suspects that this map is the one for finding the Minghong Knife!”

”Is that so?” The Earl immediately became spirited, excitedly saying, ”Does this mean we can find the Minghong Knife?”

”Things aren’t as simple as you think.” The Bishop shook his head and said, ”Although there’s a map, the map only depicts a situation within a range, or the detailed route within a secret chamber. But where this secret chamber is, no one knows. If we enter the chamber with this map, we can find the Minghong Knife. But, if we can’t find this secret chamber, then the map is still useless; the map doesn’t have any indication of where exactly the secret chamber is!”

”I see!” The Earl glanced at the Bishop and said, ”So the map Baron T Colin traced is the map of the Minghong Knife?”

”Exactly!” The Bishop nodded and said, ”This time, when we entered Huaxia to do things, the Great Elder asked me to find the location of this secret chamber along the way. He gave me the map so I could carefully look at it, memorize its details, and then enter Huaxia to search. However, I only found out yesterday that Tang Kelin secretly traced a copy of this map. When I came in, I originally intended to find him and reclaim the map, but unexpectedly, this happened, and the map actually fell into the hands of the Huaxia People!”

Saying this, the Bishop looked sternly at Ye Qing beside him and said gravely, ”If we can’t retrieve this map, it will be trouble. The map of the Minghong Knife is ours alone; if we have it, we can slowly search for this weapon. But, if the people of Huaxia also have control over it, it won’t be so easy for us to search. Huaxia is so vast, and the Huaxia People surely know the terrain here better than we do!”

The Earl furrowed his brows and said solemnly, ”Tang Kelin is a failure, inadequate for anything but spoiling things. If we got hold of the Minghong Knife, our power would certainly increase significantly. But if it were obtained by those martial artists in Huaxia, we probably wouldn’t even need to enter Huaxia!”

”Alas!” The Bishop sighed and said, ”If we can’t get this map back this time, we two will have failed greatly!”

The Earl glanced at the Bishop, slightly furrowing his brows but not speaking. Actually, he knew very well in his heart that even if the map were not retrieved, it was solely your fault; what does it have to do with me? After all, the map wasn’t under my custody!

The bishop felt extremely frustrated inside. He knew very well the consequences if the map couldn’t be retrieved.

”No matter what, we must get this map back!” the bishop said in a low voice.

The earl did not respond to the bishop’s words, instead making a shush gesture towards him and whispered, ”Shh, keep it down, those people are coming.”

The bishop also heard footsteps approaching. He gestured to the earl and whispered, ”Hide first.”

”Alright!” The earl picked up Ye Qing and was about to leave, but the bishop directly stopped him.

”Leave him here,” the bishop said in a low voice.

”Why?” the earl asked curiously.

”Let’s test these people,” the bishop said. ”If they are really with him, they will definitely come to rescue him upon seeing him lying here. If not, they won’t care about him, and stopping them won’t help us either!”

”True!” The earl nodded and threw Ye Qing by the roadside, then hid behind a large rock together with the bishop.

The footsteps gradually approached, and soon a group of people appeared in the distance. The sky was dark, making it difficult to see their exact appearance as they slowly drew near.

Hiding behind the large rock, the bishop and the earl stared intently at this group. When they reached Ye Qing’s side, both their hearts hung in suspense. Were these people truly with Ye Qing?

When they were still about a dozen meters from Ye Qing, they noticed him ahead. The leader gestured to those behind, and the group immediately stopped.

”What happened?” someone asked.

”There’s a body here,” the leader took a step forward, glanced, and suddenly exclaimed, ”It’s Ye Qing!”

”Ye Qing!?” Everyone exclaimed in surprise and rushed over simultaneously, surrounding Ye Qing.

”Damn, it’s them!” the earl cursed and turned to the bishop, saying, ”They really are together!”

The bishop had already stepped out, saying in a low voice, ”Don’t let them escape!”

”Certainly!” The earl approached from another direction, both sides encircling, intending to trap them in the center.

At this moment, these few had no idea someone was coming. They surrounded Ye Qing, lifted him up, and after some probing, realized he wasn’t dead, finally letting out a sigh of relief.

”He is severely injured, his True Qi is in chaos, what happened?” someone asked curiously.

”No matter that, let’s wake him up first!” another said.

”I think you shouldn’t waste your time,” at this moment, the earl’s voice came from behind, ”you should think about whether you can leave here alive!”

The earl’s voice startled everyone, as none of them sensed anyone’s presence behind them. Both the earl and the bishop were extremely skilled, their footsteps almost silent, naturally these people couldn’t hear them.

”Who are you?” the leader stood up, light from the distance illuminated his face, revealing an ugly visage. This person was none other than the Ghost-faced Judge Cui Yu from the Sha Men.

The ones accompanying Cui Yu were all from Sha Men. Not only the Killing Gate Seven Hidden were present, but also the Left Protector and Cui Yulong.

Among the group, the Left Protector and Cui Yulong were the strongest. As Cui Yu spoke, the Left Protector and Cui Yulong also looked over at the bishop standing on the other side, both frowning deeply. From the fact that the earl and the bishop walked here silently, it was clear these two were indeed strong, not opponents they could handle!

The earl assumed since Ye Qing spoke English, these newcomers would also understand English, which is why he spoke so boastfully. It turned out, none among the Sha Men could speak English, rendering their exchanges incomprehensible to each other.

”Can’t you speak English?” the bishop asked in broken Huaxia language.

The group looked at him, then collectively at the Ghost-faced Judge Cui Yu. The Bloody Monk trusted Cui Yu with great responsibility; in the Bloody Monk’s absence, matters of the Sha Men were handled by Cui Yu.
