Urban Martial Saint

”Prince Nalan!?” The Bishop’s face changed, as he was somewhat familiar with Huaxia and knew quite well about the martial artists there. He had heard of Prince Nalan of the Capital long ago, naturally knowing he was one of the top peak masters of Huaxia!

Moreover, the Bishop was well aware that Prince Nalan of the Capital was one of those figures they absolutely dared not provoke. If the map really fell into Prince Nalan’s hands, this would be quite troublesome!

Ye Qing was just talking nonsense, casually picking a master to fool these people. If they truly want to retrieve the map, they should go seek these masters. The reason he chose Prince Nalan was because the last time he was in the Capital, Prince Nalan had tricked him, and he also found Prince Nalan extremely insidious, leaving a bad impression, so he wanted to cause some trouble for him.

The Earl did not know who Prince Nalan was; he turned to the Bishop, and asked in surprise, ”Who is he talking about?”

”One of the strongest martial artists in Huaxia!” The Bishop replied solemnly.

”The strongest?” The Earl was stunned for a moment and asked in surprise, ”Then... how does he compare to the person we just met?”

”Definitely stronger than him!” The Bishop replied, he also did not know the difference between Northern Martial Zen and Prince Nalan. But he had heard Prince Nalan’s name and knew he was one of the five strongest in Huaxia, whereas Northern Martial Zen wasn’t in that strongest tier, so naturally he was not as strong as Prince Nalan.

The Earl sucked in a chilly breath; just now, Northern Martial Zen’s one Heavenly Deficiency Technique move hitting them was like hitting children, which had shocked him greatly. He originally thought Northern Martial Zen was the strongest figure in Huaxia. But hearing the Bishop say so, there was someone even stronger above Northern Martial Zen, which terrified him. Before entering Huaxia, he could never have imagined that Huaxia’s martial artists could be so powerful!

”So what do we do now?” The Earl said urgently, ”Should we go find him to take the map? Or should we return to get the Elders to retrieve it?”

The Bishop said nothing; he gazed at Ye Qing for a while and said solemnly, ”Prince Nalan has always been in the Capital, how could you possibly have handed the map to him? Do you really think I would believe you? You Huaxia people are best at deceit; I absolutely won’t be fooled by you. The map must still be on you, or you have hidden it. I’m warning you, hand over the map immediately, or I will definitely make you regret it!”

”Hmph, who says Prince Nalan has always been in the Capital? He came long ago; you just didn’t know!” Ye Qing replied casually, he actually didn’t know about Prince Nalan coming over. But to deceive, he had to lie till the end, anyway these people didn’t know whether Prince Nalan had arrived.

”Impossible!” The Bishop gritted his teeth and spoke solemnly, ”Huaxia People, I’ll say it again. Hand over the map, I can spare your life, even let you leave whole.”

”What are you talking about?” The Earl widened his eyes and said, ”This man killed so many of us, even killed Baron T Colin; we absolutely can’t let him leave!”

The Bishop was suddenly helpless; not only was this Earl arrogant and crazy, but also quite brainless. When he said he would let Ye Qing go, it was obviously a lie to deceive Ye Qing. Unexpectedly, Ye Qing wasn’t fooled, but this Earl was first deceived.

”Hahaha...” Ye Qing laughed loudly, saying, ”Since I’ve fallen into your hands, of course, I never thought I could leave alive. If you have the skills, just kill me; Prince Nalan will avenge me. Hmph, kill me, do you think you can leave Huaxia?”

”Such arrogance!” The Earl was furious, saying angrily, ”I think you’re not crying until you see the coffin; I’ll cut off one of your arms first!”

As the Earl spoke, he wanted to take action, but the Bishop walked over and said directly, ”You don’t need to be so troublesome, cutting off an arm, the smell of blood attracting others wouldn’t be good.”

”Then what are you planning to do?” The Earl said discontentedly.

The Bishop coldly stared at Ye Qing and spoke solemnly, ”Huaxia’s martial artists cultivate Inner Strength; the key is the meridians throughout their body. Hmph, as long as the meridians throughout his body are cut, it’s equivalent to crippling all his martial arts.”

Upon hearing this, Ye Qing’s face changed; this Bishop was really insidious. Crippling all his martial arts would be more troublesome than killing him. Ye Qing had so many enemies; without martial arts, how could he survive? Getting caught and having those around him threatened is what Ye Qing least wanted to see.

”Your idea is not bad.” The Earl suddenly became interested, looking at Ye Qing, saying, ”What are meridians? Where are they? I’ll cut his meridians!”

”Meridians are the channels for energy flow within the body...” The Bishop paused and said, ”They can’t be cut with ordinary means, but the Great Elder created a Pure Light Technique that can shatter a person’s meridians.”

”Then what are you waiting for? Cripple him now!” The Earl shouted immediately.

The Bishop ignored the Earl, he looked coldly at Ye Qing and said in a deep voice, ”Huaxia man, I will say it one last time, hand over the map, and I can let you leave here intact. Otherwise, I’ll first shatter all your meridians and turn you into a cripple. Even if I don’t kill you then, do you think your life will have any meaning? Even if you hold the map, what use will it be? Without martial arts, you are just a cripple, and living will be more miserable than death!”

Ye Qing clenched his teeth; he knew very well that the Bishop was so anxious to learn the whereabouts of the map, indicating that it was extremely significant, and of course, he would not hand it over. Moreover, given the situation with this Earl and Bishop, even if Ye Qing surrendered the map, he would hardly escape death.

”If you have the nerve, kill me. Using such despicable means, are you not afraid of losing face when word gets out?” Ye Qing said in a deep voice.

”It seems, you are not prepared to surrender the map!” The Bishop’s face turned cold. Suddenly he reached out to press on top of Ye Qing’s head and said deeply, ”You are testing my patience. I will count to three, and if you don’t surrender the map, I will shatter all your meridians, turning you completely into a cripple!”

Feeling the palm on his head, Ye Qing’s heart started pounding. If his meridians were shattered, he would be completely crippled, effectively giving up his life. But at this moment, he had no other choice.

”One!”

”Two!”

The Bishop’s eyes glinted fiercely as he stared at Ye Qing, suddenly gritting his teeth and shouting, ”Three! Pure Light Technique!”

With the Bishop’s shout, a light immediately flashed from his palm and directly entered Ye Qing’s head. This light, accompanied by a destructive force, charged into Ye Qing’s body, along his meridians, continuously impacting them. The overwhelming force made Ye Qing’s insides feel like a battlefield; the pain in his meridians caused him to spontaneously unleash roars and cries of agony like a wild beast. His entire body was on the verge of exploding, but held down tightly by the Earl, he had no power to resist and could only allow the force to ravage his meridians.

Meanwhile, at the other side of the grassland, three men were walking toward Dragon Burial Mountain. Suddenly, the leading man turned his head sharply and said in a deep voice, ”This is bad, something happened!”

The leader of these three appeared to be a middle-aged man in his mid-forties or fifties, with a sallow complexion as if he was gravely ill. The other two, one had an ordinary face and was dressed casually, looking like a tourist on the grassland. As for the third man, he was someone Ye Qing knew well, Zhou Yuliang, whom Ye Qing had met in the Miao Borderlands, also the second disciple of King Yan Ning Qianshu!

After escaping from the Miao Borderlands, Zhou Yuliang had not appeared for a while, as he was avoiding the pursuit of the Miaojiang Witch. Having witnessed the Witch’s dominance firsthand, he naturally knew she was unbeatable. Moreover, not just his master Ning Qianshu, but even Heavenly Master Lin Xuan Yue of the Twelve Green Halls had said so. Hence, he dared not show his face, and would not have appeared if not for Ning Qianshu’s summons this time.

”What happened?” Zhou Yuliang immediately looked in the direction the man was facing, full of surprise.

The leading man did not speak, but suddenly spun around and dashed towards that direction.

Full of confusion, Zhou Yuliang looked at the man standing beside him and whispered, ”Senior Brother, what’s going on?”

The man next to Zhou Yuliang was actually his senior brother? Wasn’t Zhou Yuliang’s senior brother Liu Ruxiang? However, this man was completely different from Liu Ruxiang. Last time, during the toxic smoke incident at the border, both Liu Ruxiang and Bai Li Xi had personally investigated. Liu Ruxiang at that time did not look like this. Could it be, Liu Ruxiang knew some disguise technique?

”I don’t know, let’s go see too!” Liu Ruxiang replied solemnly.

”Who exactly is this person?” Zhou Yuliang couldn’t help asking, ”Why does Master want us to follow him into the mountains and even listen to his orders?”

Liu Ruxiang didn’t answer, only hurriedly chased after him. Zhou Yuliang was filled with questions but had no way to answer them and could only follow closely, wanting to see what they were up to.

Outside Dragon Burial Mountain, the Bishop had already retrieved his hand from Ye Qing’s head, sneering, ”Huaxia man, all your meridians have been shattered by me, and your martial arts are completely wasted. From now on, you are a total cripple. Even an average person could easily come over and beat you up. Living will only be more painful than death!”

”Is that so?” The Earl was also full of excitement, saying, ”His martial arts have truly been ruined?”

”Of course!” The Bishop nodded and said, ”You can let him go now; he is now weaker than someone who doesn’t know martial arts. With his meridians shattered, he won’t be able to do even simple tasks in the future and will have to beg for a living for the rest of his life!”
