Urban Martial Saint

These three youths have been pampered since childhood, relying on their family’s powerful influence and wealth to act arrogantly everywhere, never having been treated like this before. Now, after being violently beaten by Ye Qing, one is lying severely injured on the car roof, unable to even crawl. Of the other two, one was beaten by Ye Qing until his face looked like a pig’s head, while the other was trembling with fear on the side, almost wetting himself.

The youth, after being slapped again by Ye Qing, dared not ask what Ye Qing had questioned earlier. However, without knowing the question, he couldn’t answer Ye Qing, fearing another beating, he looked at Ye Qing anxiously, his face full of grievance, tears welling up in his eyes.

Ye Qing paid him no mind and turned to look at the youth who hadn’t been hit yet, asking, ”Did you hear the question I asked earlier?”

This youth, standing to the side, just feared Ye Qing might address him. Unexpectedly, Ye Qing did turn, causing him to tremble all over with fear and stammer, ”Big brother, I’m really sorry, really sorry, just now... just now I didn’t catch it clearly, truly sorry. Big brother, please... please don’t hit me...”

As the youth spoke, he retreated backward, genuinely terrified by Ye Qing.

Ye Qing grabbed him and pulled him over with one hand, delivering two swift slaps, angrily saying, ”Both of you have no respect for others, do you? Listen carefully, I’ll ask once more. If you fail to hear clearly again this time, I’ll cut off your ears to feed the dogs!”

The two couldn’t help but shiver violently, daring not to lose focus again, turning their ears attentively toward Ye Qing, afraid to miss even a word.

Ye Qing repeated the question he had just asked, while not far off in a car, Old Wang Ba and others were watching Ye Qing’s actions here. Especially those two elders, their eyes were filled with a different kind of light when they looked at Ye Qing, completely different from before, as if they suddenly found interest in Ye Qing.

Old Wang Ba watched for a while, unable to resist saying, ”This kid is truly a waste of time.”

Wu Changming, sitting in the back, couldn’t see the situation outside very clearly, but he still knew what Ye Qing was doing. He slowly shook his head, saying, ”I don’t think so. Seeing injustice and acting with a righteous blade, Mr. Ye truly has the demeanor of an ancient knight.”

Old Wang Ba said, ”I meant he’s too slow to act. Why bother talking with these arrogant kids? Just chop them straight away—much more convenient. Is he planning to play some more?”

Wu Changming didn’t say anything more, just glanced at the two elders beside him, noticing their unusual gaze, which also puzzled him. Earlier, he and Old Wang Ba had been speaking well of Ye Qing in front of these two, letting them witness Ye Qing’s response when bullied by those villagers, hoping they would see Ye Qing favorably and entrust Yelu Family’s things to him. However, the two showed no interest in Ye Qing at the time, but now their attitude seemed to change? Could there be a turning point in this matter?

The Yelu Family reaching this point means they’ve completely bid farewell to the stage of history. The family only has a few women left alive, no male descendants, and has thus lost its inheritance. The Yelu Family always favored males, so, according to the family’s tradition, the family’s journey ends here. Thus, everything of the family must be entrusted to someone worthy.

Wu Changming owes his life to Old Wang Ba, even the Yelu Family women owe their lives to him. Wu Changming feels very grateful towards Old Wang Ba. Old Wang Ba repeatedly recommended Ye Qing to him. Moreover, Ye Qing once saved their lives, building a foundation of trust for Wu Changming. So deep down, he had already decided to entrust everything of the Yelu Family to Ye Qing.

The earlier cold attitude from the two elders towards Ye Qing made Wu Changming very worried. But now, it seemed there was a turning point, causing him to feel excited. Mind you, although the Yelu Family has dwindled over the years, what the family has left behind is definitely not simple. After all, the Yelu Family descends from the Imperial Family, and what they found by pooling all national resources wasn’t ordinary at all.

Outside, Ye Qing was unaware of the shift in the two elders’ attitude inside the car. After he repeated the question, the two youths hurriedly answered Ye Qing: ”This car is three hundred seventy thousand.”

”Three hundred seventy thousand!” Ye Qing nodded slowly, saying, ”That’s not cheap!”

Ordinarily, if Ye Qing made this remark, the two youths would puff up with pride. But at the moment, hearing Ye Qing’s words, they could only manage bitter smiles. For they knew well Ye Qing wasn’t complimenting them but speaking with cold sarcasm. The chill in his tone made both youths shiver internally.

”Nice car.” Ye Qing glanced around at the car, suddenly asked, ”By the way, is there any kind of wrench inside?”

”Yes, it’s in the back,” one youth quickly replied, even running over to open the trunk and pull out a big wrench.

Ye Qing took the wrench, swung it a few times in his hand, nodded with satisfaction, saying, ”Not bad, this wrench feels just right.”

Watching Ye Qing waving the wrench, the two youths were utterly terrified, unsure of what Ye Qing intended, fearing he might use the wrench to beat them. Remembering Ye Qing’s earlier actions, they did not doubt he would do precisely that!

However, Ye Qing didn’t pay attention to the two of them. He just leisurely walked to the front of the car, suddenly raised the wrench in his hand, and smashed it onto the hood.

”Hey, you...” One of the young men winced in pain, wanting to speak out to stop him, but immediately covered his mouth. After being beaten up by Ye Qing earlier, he became much more obedient, not daring to say another word.

The minivan driver beside them stared blankly at all this, completely stunned. He never expected things to develop to this point. These three young men were certainly influential figures, especially the son of Li Gang, who was no ordinary person. Such characters were completely rampant in Tianzhao City; who dared to provoke them? What was Ye Qing up to? Was he not afraid of Li Gang?

Ye Qing held the wrench and circled the car once, smashing all the glass and body around the car. Anyway, everything that could be damaged was destroyed, with nothing left intact. In no time, the luxury car, worth three hundred and seventy thousand, was smashed by Ye Qing until it looked like junk, a tragic sight.

The two young men stood by, dumbfounded, feeling a pain in their hearts but not daring to utter a word. Seeing Ye Qing’s manner of smashing the car, they became even more convinced of his fierce and evil nature, and truly dared not provoke him.

After smashing the car to such a state, Ye Qing finally turned to the two young men and asked, ”With the car damaged like this, how much would it cost to repair?”

”Well... this would probably require a full car repair, the value would basically... basically be equivalent to buying a new car...” one young man replied in a low voice.

The other young man was more cunning, quickly smiling and saying, ”Brother, no... no need to repair it, no repair is needed.”

He was scared by Ye Qing’s beating, really afraid of saying something that might anger Ye Qing and get beaten up again. However, this clever comment didn’t earn Ye Qing’s praise; instead, Ye Qing directly slapped him and glared, ”What do you mean no need to repair? Are you saying I can’t afford to fix this car?”

The young man didn’t expect that speaking like this would get him hit, and for a moment, he couldn’t even speak, holding his face and staring blankly at Ye Qing.

Ye Qing ignored him, turning to look at the other young man, saying, ”Buying a new car would be three hundred and seventy thousand, right?”

This young man learned his lesson, not daring to say anything extra, quickly nodding, ”Right, right, it’s... it’s three hundred and seventy thousand...”

”Very good!” Ye Qing nodded, looking at the car behind him, saying, ”This car was smashed by me, three hundred and seventy thousand, I will compensate you.”

The two young men were stunned, exchanging glances, not understanding what Ye Qing meant. Wasn’t this insane? Smashing the car for no reason and then compensating with so much money? Was the money burning a hole in his pocket?

”However...” Ye Qing suddenly shifted gears, looking at the two young men slowly, ”But, my time is quite valuable, it can be described as time is money. You blocked me here for so long, considering my time value, you should compensate me with four hundred thousand. Subtract the three hundred and seventy thousand for the smashed car, and you still owe me thirty thousand!”

The two young men’s eyes widened, finally understanding what it meant to be unreasonable. Ye Qing was being completely unreasonable. After smashing their luxury car, he turned around to demand money from them; what kind of logic was this?

”Brother, aren’t you... aren’t you bullying people?” one young man couldn’t help but mutter, unable to stand this injustice any longer.

”Bullying people?” Ye Qing glanced at him and said, ”When you two were driving illegally, crashing into the van driver’s vehicle, and then blackmailing him, didn’t that count as bullying?”

The minivan driver, upon hearing these words, was nearly moved to tears. He finally understood what Ye Qing was doing and looked at Ye Qing gratefully.

The two young men were instantly dumbfounded, one of them couldn’t help but say, ”Brother, if you think we did something wrong, you could just say so. Isn’t this too much?”

”When you were bullying the driver, didn’t you think you were going too far?” Ye Qing retorted.

”Well... isn’t it different? We... we didn’t act as unreasonably as you did!” one young man said, ”He did crash into our car, didn’t he... can’t we say a few words?”
