Urban Martial Saint

”Master Naikun?” The middle-aged man paused, surprised, and asked, ”Master, you just mentioned that Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun brought a master akin to the Five Uniques to deal with Master Naikun. Can he escape?”

”That’s the problem!” Lin Xuan Yue said gravely, ”I’ve calculated that thirty years ago, the Corpse Ghost Dragon concealed the fate and entwined it with Master Naikun’s Life Grid. This means that if Master Naikun doesn’t die, the Corpse Ghost Dragon can definitely be unsealed. I believe, since the Corpse Ghost Dragon did such a thing, he’s surely given Master Naikun a way to save his life. Although Shen Tianjun is very powerful, killing Master Naikun might not be that easy!”

The middle-aged man suddenly realized, nodding, ”Master, rest assured, I will definitely instruct Ning Qianshu to personally kill Master Naikun!”

”Remember, you must kill Master Naikun!” Lin Xuan Yue admonished once more, ”If Master Naikun dies, the Corpse Ghost Dragon won’t appear. If Master Naikun doesn’t die, the Corpse Ghost Dragon will inevitably reemerge. By then, no one in the world would be able to stop him!”

Ye Qing rested for more than five hours, and when he woke up, it was already afternoon.

Shen Tianjun and the masked elder were already prepared, and Su Kaicheng had even arranged a private jet specifically to take the three of them over.

On the way, Ye Qing only learned that the specific location they were heading to was Chenglin City, where Master Naikun was hiding.

The task of dealing with Master Naikun couldn’t be too public. Otherwise, if Master Naikun were to find out in advance, he might flee or create some human puppets to obstruct Ye Qing and the others, which would be troublesome.

Therefore, Ye Qing and the team made their way to Chenglin City right on time. By the time they arrived, it was dark, so they didn’t attract too much attention.

To maintain maximum secrecy, they even refrained from calling a special car to pick them up and instead took a taxi to the village where Master Naikun was hiding.

Master Naikun’s place of residence was quite nice; he had specifically bought an estate, and it was within this estate that he lived. The estate was surrounded by residential houses, indicating that Master Naikun had also left himself a backup plan. If the martial artists of Huaxia really forced him, he might resort to harming the surrounding residents. These houses served as hostages by his side.

Shen Tianjun, before arriving here, had already familiarized himself thoroughly with the situation. So, under his lead, the three of them smoothly reached the estate’s exterior. However, it was still early, and the street outside was crowded, making it unsuitable for action. They circled the estate twice, delaying time and observing the terrain.

It was unclear whether these sorcerers were too arrogant or not, but the estate’s security wasn’t tight; after circling twice, they didn’t see anyone on night watch.

”These people must have put poison on the walls!” Ye Qing whispered.

Shen Tianjun nodded, ”That’s for sure, these sorcerers are masters of poison. Setting up a few traps is enough; there’s no need for heavy guard. Ye Qing, do you still have the Mu Ling?”

”Yes!” Ye Qing took out the Mu Ling.

”Good!” Shen Tianjun nodded, ”With the Mu Ling, most of their sorcery won’t affect you. You can venture boldly inside!”

”So when do we go in?” Ye Qing checked his watch, ”It’s ten thirty now, and most people have already left. I estimate that by eleven thirty, the streets will be deserted, so how about we act at midnight?”

”It’s not about when we strike.” Shen Tianjun said seriously, ”This Master Naikun is quite cunning and usually won’t appear personally. Even if someone breaks into the estate, he’ll just send his people out first, while he hides in the shadows, assessing the opponent’s strength before deciding to act. He’s seen me once before, and if he notices I’m here, he’ll definitely flee at the first opportunity. Therefore, we have to think of a way to draw him out first.”

”How about I go in alone first?” Ye Qing suggested, ”Senior Shen, you and the masked elder can hide in the shadows. Once I lure Master Naikun out, the two of you can take action against him, what do you think?”

”I’m thinking the same!” Shen Tianjun nodded, ”However, both of us can’t act simultaneously. This Master Naikun is too cunning, and surely has a way to save his life. Hence, one of us must act while the other one blocks his escape route from behind. If he tries to flee, someone should block him from behind!”

Saying this, Shen Tianjun turned to look at the masked elder opposite.

The elder did not speak but simply nodded, agreeing with Shen Tianjun’s method.

”Since that’s the case, it’s decided then!” Shen Tianjun nodded and said, ”Ye Qing, you enter through the front door and challenge them to draw out Master Naikun. I’ll be hiding in the shadows, and as soon as Master Naikun appears, I’ll deal with him. The masked man, you’ll stay at the back; if he tries to escape through the back door, you can stop him!”

”Alright!” Ye Qing nodded in response, while the old man just nodded slightly, not saying a word from beginning to end.

Ye Qing couldn’t help but glance at this masked old man. According to Shen Tianjun, this old man’s strength wasn’t inferior to his own. But what was the true identity of this old man? He wore a mask the entire time and didn’t utter a single word, clearly hiding his identity. Why was he doing this? Who was he hiding from?

Ye Qing was filled with questions, but he didn’t ask. This old man had his reasons for not showing his true face. Regardless, as Shen Tianjun trusted him, Ye Qing would trust him too!

The three of them clearly divided their roles and set a time before starting their separate actions. The masked old man headed straight towards the back entrance of the manor, ready to intercept anyone trying to escape.

Ye Qing and Shen Tianjun walked towards the front door. As they approached, Shen Tianjun split from Ye Qing. He intended to hide and wait for Master Naikun to appear, while Ye Qing was to charge directly through the main entrance.

When they reached the manor’s gate, it was around midnight, and the street was empty, making it an opportune moment for Ye Qing and his group to act.

Ye Qing took a deep breath, gripped the Mu Ling in his hand, and walked straight up, knocking heavily on the door.

After about three minutes, the door finally opened, and a slightly dark-skinned man peeked out. He sized up Ye Qing from top to bottom and looked around him to make sure no one else was there, before asking in a deep voice, ”What are you doing?”

”Me? I’m here to pick a fight!” Ye Qing sneered coldly, suddenly kicking out and sending the door flying open, knocking the man back.

Ye Qing walked through the entrance, closing the door behind him, and rushed at the man, lifting his foot to kick him down.

The man was no match for Ye Qing, finally coming to his senses after taking two kicks. He suddenly shook his hand, scattering a cloud of white powder that enveloped Ye Qing. At the same time, he stood to the side, mumbling incoherently, clearly casting sorcery on Ye Qing.

Nanyang sorcery worked like this, using external objects and one’s power to achieve bizarre effects. These white powders were highly toxic, and any contact could poison an ordinary person. The sorcerer could control the poison’s properties through sorcery to control the person; this was the simplest form of sorcery.

This man was surely a sorcerer, and after being attacked by Ye Qing, his first thought was to cast sorcery on him. However, his sorcery had no effect on Ye Qing. Holding the Mu Ling, Ye Qing was immune to any poison, making it impossible for the sorcerer to control him.

This was the main reason Shen Tianjun dared to let Ye Qing enter alone. With the Mu Ling in hand, most sorceries had no effect on him, putting Ye Qing in a safe situation.

While the sorcerer’s incantations failed to affect Ye Qing, the white powder covered him. Ye Qing frowned slightly, taking a step forward to kick the sorcerer, who was still muttering, to the ground.

”W-What is this?” The sorcerer gawked, seeing Ye Qing covered in white powder. Even without being affected by sorcery, surely he should have been poisoned by now. Yet Ye Qing showed no signs of harm, still able to come over and attack him, which was beyond his expectations!

”Using sorcery on me, you really don’t know how to live!” Ye Qing replied coldly, raising his voice to draw out the sorcerers inside.

The sorcerer, beaten to the ground by Ye Qing, knew he couldn’t win and crawled back, wailing and begging for help, causing quite a commotion.

”Hey, what’s going on!” Finally, several people rushed out from inside, confronting Ye Qing and blocking his way.

”Who are you?” The leading man scrutinized Ye Qing, a frown forming on his face. He was also a Nanyang sorcerer, but he didn’t dare to cast his sorcery on Ye Qing.

He had seen clearly from inside when the door-opening sorcerer tried to cast sorcery on Ye Qing. Seeing it fail to injure Ye Qing surprised him. So, while they came out, they didn’t dare to use sorcery on Ye Qing. If the sorcery didn’t work and they ended up getting beaten, that would be humiliating.

”Who am I?” Ye Qing coldly glanced over the group and said, ”Humph, you sorcerers almost killed me at Beimang Mountain, and you still don’t know who I am?”
