I Can See Through All Things Information

Chapter 73 – 70: Shameless Sophistry, Heartbreaking

“Ah Qing?!” The villagers had all thought that Wang Da An was about to take a brutal beating from the mole-faced brute.

Unexpectedly, someone suddenly popped up, blocking that slap.

What shocked them even more was that the person was actually Lu Qing!

“Is it you, you little rascal?!” The mole-faced man was also surprised, and then he sneered viciously, “Perfect, I was just worrying about where to find you. I didn’t expect you to deliver yourself to my doorstep!”

“Quick, come back, Ah Qing, these people are bad news!”

Seeing the turn of events, Elder Zhang hurriedly shouted.

“Thinking of running now? Too late!” A cruel light shone in the mole-faced man’s eyes.

...
His grip tightened, attempting to free his arm and grab hold of Lu Qing.

However, when he exerted force to shake it off, he found that Lu Qing’s hand on his wrist was like a fine steel clamp, unmoving.

Not only did it not get shaken off, but it also tightened even further, causing his wrist to start aching.

Lu Qing watched him with a slight smile, gradually increasing his grip.

“You, release my hand right away!”

Feeling the pain on his hand intensify, the mole-faced man’s face changed, and he immediately barked.

At the same time, he let go of Wang Da An’s hoe with his left hand and threw a punch at Lu Qing’s head.

“I told you to let go, did you hear me!”

However, just as his fist swung halfway out, he heard a snap and felt an unbearable sharp pain from his right wrist, held by Lu Qing.

Before the mole-faced man could even cry out in pain, a great force transmitted from his chest and abdomen followed by a series of bone-cracking sounds; a sweetness rose in his throat, and a mouthful of fresh blood sprayed out.

His body went airborne, and while still midair, darkness enveloped him, and he passed out.

Boom!

With the mole-faced man’s body hitting the ground and skidding seven or eight meters back, leaving a long scrape on the ground, he lay motionless.

Everyone fell silent, gaping in disbelief.

Especially the villagers of Jiuli Village, who watched the scene in utter shock.

“What?!”

Seeing the mole-faced man getting kicked away by Lu Qing, the brooding man’s pupils suddenly constricted, looking at Lu Qing in disbelief.

Although Lao Qi’s skills were not as good as his, the difference wasn’t huge.

Yet, he was kicked by Lu Qing into an unknown state between life and death.

How did this kid do it?!

After breaking the mole-faced man’s wrist and kicking him hard, Lu Qing then cast his gaze upon the remaining few on the opposite side.

Lu Qing had been observing from the side for quite a while.

Having listened to Elder Zhang’s conversation with them, he basically understood that this group was likely the real culprits behind Little Yan’s parents’ deaths.

For this, he had employed his Superpower to probe the information of the group.

He found that these people were all members of a gang known as the Black Wolf Gang.

Among them, the brooding man before him was the leader.

[Han Wu: Peripheral member of the Black Wolf Gang, gloomy and cunning by nature, vindictive, ruthless, and bloodthirsty.]

[Skilled in martial arts, once instructed by a Martial Artist, just a step away from the Qi Blood Realm.]

Recalling the information he had just probed, Lu Qing’s eyes grew colder as he looked at the brooding man.

Even the Superpower assessed him as ruthless and bloodthirsty; this Han Wu must have committed countless heinous acts.

Pricked by Lu Qing’s gaze, Han Wu, still immersed in shock, abruptly came to his senses.

Looking at Lu Qing, he blurted out, “Are you a Martial Artist?!”

“Oh, you do have some insight,” Lu Qing said, somewhat surprised, “Speak up, who exactly are you?”

Hearing Lu Qing readily admit it, Han Wu was shocked once again.

He had seen Lu Qing with his own eyes just over a month ago.

Back then, Lu Qing was thin, dispirited, looking every bit the part of a short-lived person.

How long had it been since then? The kid he could have easily crushed with a flick of his finger had become a Martial Artist?

How did he do it?

Han Wu was filled with disbelief.

He knew all too well how difficult it was for those who trained in martial arts to become Martial Artists.

“Just like him, after practicing martial arts for over a decade and with the guidance of his elder brother, he still hasn’t broken through to become a martial artist.”

“He’s always been a little short of that legendary Qi Blood Realm.”

“And now this son of Lu Ming, who was frail and listless just a month ago,”

“is somehow now a martial artist, how is that possible!”

Lu Qing saw the shock on Han Wu’s face, but he didn’t care.

Instead, he continued to look at him with a piercing gaze, “It seems you haven’t answered my question yet. Speak, who are you people exactly?”

Han Wu felt the coldness in Lu Qing’s gaze and shivered inside.

No matter how Lu Qing had become a martial artist, it wasn’t important now.

What mattered was that if he didn’t handle the next moments carefully, it was likely that all of them, his entire group, would meet their end here today.

His mind raced, and Han Wu managed to squeeze out a smile.

“Young Master Lu, this is all a misunderstanding…”

However, before he could finish, Old Master Zhang shouted from behind, “Ah Qing, they are the villains who caused the death of your parents!”

“That’s right, Ah Qing, it was they who forced your parents to their deaths!”

“Ah Qing, don’t let them leave!”

“They even tried to take Little Yan away just now!”

The other villagers, having seen Lu Qing’s might, joined in the shouting.

Sweat broke out on Han Wu’s forehead, “No, Young Master Lu, your parents drowned themselves, their death has nothing to do with us…”

“Bullshit! If it wasn’t for your deceitful trap that ensnared Lu Ming, how could he and his wife have fallen into such debt and ended up drowning themselves? It’s you who drove them to their deaths!” shouted Old Master Zhang, as temperamental as ever.

“No, that’s not it…”

Each time Han Wu tried to speak, he was interrupted by Old Master Zhang, his killing intent filling to the brim.

He swore that if he could escape safely this time, he would torture the old man to death, lash his body for three days to sate the hatred in his heart!

“Young Master Lu, this is truly just a misunderstanding. Your father wanted to do business back then and he borrowed a lot of money from us. When the business failed and he could not repay his debts, he panicked, and that led him and your mother to choose to drown themselves.”

“From beginning to end, we never forced them, you see, the IOU is right here, and it bears your father’s own signature and handprint.”

Han Wu pulled out a piece of paper from his chest and quickly showed it to Lu Qing.

“You… shameless!” Old Master Zhang saw the paper and became infuriated, “You clearly said you had destroyed the IOU, and now you still have it, utterly despicable!”

The other villagers were equally furious, and they were puzzled as well.

They had clearly seen Han Wu and his men destroy the IOU, how could there now be another one?

Lu Qing glanced over the IOU and nodded, “Indeed, it does bear my father’s name, but what does that prove?”

“It doesn’t prove much, I just want to confirm to you, Young Master Lu, that your father truly owed us money, and that your parents’ deaths really have no relation to us.”

“Just think about it, we lent so much money to your father and hadn’t even recovered the principal. Why would we think about driving him to death? In doing so, wouldn’t we lose both person and money?”

“Who would willingly make such a losing deal?”

“It seems there might be some truth to what you’re saying.” Lu Qing nodded again.

“Ah Qing…”

The villagers behind, seeing Lu Qing seemed to be swayed by Han Wu’s excuses, became somewhat anxious.

This time, however, Han Wu had learned his lesson. Seeing Lu Qing’s hesitation, he felt a surge of joy and didn’t give the villagers a chance to speak again.

He urgently said, “But as the saying goes, ’debts are forgiven upon death.’ Since Lu Ming has already died, the debts he owed naturally can’t be held against him. Take this IOU as a gift from the Black Wolf Gang to Young Master Lu, returning it to its rightful owner.”

Saying this, he pulled out several silver notes from his chest and offered them together with the IOU.

“Additionally, the Black Wolf Gang has always been saddened by the passing of your parents. Here are three hundred silver taels, a small token from the Black Wolf Gang. We hope Young Master Lu will kindly accept it.”

Han Wu spoke earnestly and sincerely, as if everything he said was the absolute truth, without a trace of a lie in his heart.

Lu Qing looked at the silver notes and IOU before him, then at Han Wu with his earnest expression.

After a long silence, he suddenly smiled, “Indeed, this is quite a generous gift.”

Seeing the smile, Han Wu thought Lu Qing believed his words and was overjoyed.

“Then Young Master Lu…”

But before he could finish his sentence, suddenly, a palm appeared silently at the position of his heart.

Immediately after, an irresistible force burst from his chest, the energy directly piercing his heart and exploding it into pieces.

Han Wu’s body trembled, his limbs weakened, and he slowly fell to the ground.

Then, in his final moments, he heard Lu Qing slowly utter the remainder of the sentence.

“Unfortunately, if it wasn’t for knowing your nature, perhaps I could have believed you a little.”
