I Can See Through All Things Information

Chapter 62 – 59: Critically Injured and Dying

Lu Qing walked slowly down the road.

But inside, he was not as calm as he appeared on the surface.

Those local thugs, after being crippled by him, would probably find it difficult to commit evil in the future.

Even if they wanted to live a normal life, it wouldn’t be easy.

As for why he didn’t just kill them outright.

It was because Lu Qing was not one to kill indiscriminately.

...
Speaking truthfully, in his past life, apart from killing fish, he had hardly ever killed chickens or ducks, let alone people.

Although since his transmigration, Lu Qing had been mentally preparing himself, telling himself that this world was different, much more brutal and with a law of the jungle.

Yet, killing people was still not an easy decision for Lu Qing to make.

Because he didn’t know what kind of changes would occur to him once he crossed that line.

After becoming a martial artist, killing people was not difficult for him.

What was difficult was that he wasn’t sure if he could remain unchanged after taking that step.

If those thugs were irredeemably evil, Lu Qing might have been able to go through with it.

But the information from his Superpower told him they were not.

So, in the end, Lu Qing decided to give them a chance.

Indeed, he didn’t have the same disposition as those novel protagonists from his previous life, who could start killing decisively without any hesitation right after transmigration.

He was, after all, just an ordinary person.

Lu Qing thought, somewhat self-mockingly.

However, after this incident, Lu Qing had at least begun to appreciate the power of a martial artist.

Even the weakest Qi Blood Realm was an invincible existence to ordinary people.

In terms of strength, reaction, or defense, the two were simply not on the same level.

When Lu Qing taught those thugs a lesson earlier, he could clearly feel it.

Their movements and reactions seemed almost like slow motion to him, posing virtually no threat.

That’s why he could easily break their limbs without suffering a scratch himself.

“It’s also fortunate that Martial Arts Cultivation is not easy and breaking through the Qi Blood Realm is extremely difficult, otherwise, I can’t even imagine what this world would become,” Lu Qing thought to himself.

It hadn’t taken him long to step into the Qi Blood Realm.

But that was because he had the help of his Superpower, the selfless guidance from his master, and the golden loach as a major tonic to make up for his deficiencies in his foundation.

Ordinary people practicing Martial Arts didn’t have the conditions he did.

Even after ten or eight years of practice, they might not even touch the edge of the Qi Blood Realm.

So, as his master said, in this world, anyone who can become a martial artist is extraordinary, at least one in a hundred.

Those without talent, who can’t grasp the secret of connecting Qi-Blood, no matter how long they train, will only be slightly more agile and stronger, and can only be ordinary martial artists.

They might be able to bully ordinary people, but facing a real martial artist, they would shatter upon contact.

While pondering over these things, Lu Qing arrived home.

After setting down his things, he felt a sense of relief.

Despite some hiccups at the big market, his mood was overall quite good.

Especially since he had successfully asked Ma Gu to get him a War Saber.

Thinking that he would own his own War Saber in a few days, Lu Qing felt quite excited.

Lu Qing had thought it would be another four or five days before he saw Ma Gu again.

However, to his surprise, they met again only a day later.

…

In a back house of a residence at the big market, Ma Gu had a worried look on his face as he called over a subordinate.

“Has Young Master Wei from the Wei Family not come back yet?”

“Master Ma, I’ve been waiting outside, and I haven’t seen Young Master Wei and his group return yet,” the subordinate replied respectfully.

“Why are they returning so late today?” Ma Gu felt uneasy, “Based on yesterday, they should have been back by now.”

After waiting for a while longer and still not seeing anyone return, Ma Gu grew increasingly anxious.

He paced back and forth, constantly reassuring himself, “Nothing would have happened, the Wei Family’s guards are all experts in the Muscle Bone Realm, and they just went into the mountains, what could have happened?”

However, as time went by, Ma Gu’s heart finally started to panic.

He couldn’t help but curse, “Damn it, what is going on in Young Master Wei’s head, why did he have to go into the mountains himself looking for a birthday gift? Couldn’t he have just sent a subordinate to do it? Doesn’t he know, if something happens to him, how many people will suffer the consequences?”

Just as Ma Gu was frantic, wondering whether to organize a search party into the mountain.

Finally, the attendant who had been waiting outside came running in.

“Ma Gu, Ma Gu, Young Master Wei and his party have returned!”

“Returned? Where are they?” Ma Gu was overjoyed and immediately asked.

However, his subordinate’s face was filled with panic, “They’re back, but Young Master Wei… he… he…”

Ma Gu’s heart instantly sank with a bad feeling. He immediately seized his subordinate’s collar, “What happened to Young Master Wei?”

“He… he seems to be dead…”

The words struck Ma Gu like a bolt from the blue, stupefying him completely.

The next moment, an overwhelming fear surged from his heart.

He grabbed his subordinate’s collar again, his face twisted with fury, “How could he die? Who did this to him?!”

“I… I don’t know, sir. When I saw the guards return carrying a stretcher, Young Master Wei was lying on it, and the stretcher was covered in blood. Young Master Wei’s eyes were closed, and I couldn’t even see him breathing, so I thought… perhaps Young Master Wei is…is…”

The subordinate was terrified by Ma Gu’s ferociousness and stammered out his words.

“Go to hell!”

Ma Gu now understood the situation. It was not yet certain whether Young Master Wei was truly dead, but the subordinate’s words just now were clearly his own conjecture.

“Wait until I come back to deal with you!”

He kicked the subordinate aside, cursed sharply, and then hurried out.

The fear in his heart, however, did not diminish much.

Although the fool had speculated wildly, it was clear that Young Master Wei’s current situation was indeed dire.

Whether he was dead or severely injured, the consequences were more than he could bear.

When Ma Gu arrived at the front courtyard, he saw several Wei Family guards gathered around a blood-stained stretcher with somber expressions.

And on that stretcher, Young Master Wei lay pale and with tightly closed eyes, his fate unknown.

“Guard Li, what happened?”

Seeing this scene, Ma Gu’s mind went blank, and he quickly called out to the lead guard.

“Young Master fell into a valley while we were in the mountains, and his stomach was slashed open by a sharp rock.”

Guard Li’s face was very grim, and fear also lingered in his heart.

Failing to protect the young master, he couldn’t imagine the punishment they would face upon their return.

“What about Young Master Wei now… now…”

Hearing this, Ma Gu’s heart clenched, his voice trembling, but he dared not ask the dreadful question.

Fortunately, Guard Li understood his meaning and answered directly, “The young master is still breathing. We’ve pushed his intestines back in and applied an antiseptic medicine, which has barely managed to stop the bleeding for now.”

Ma Gu’s heart twitched at the words, “And what are you doing now?”

“We had intended to take the young master directly back to the city, but his wound was too severe, and with the jostling, the blood kept seeping out, washing away the powder from the antiseptic medicine. Unfortunately, we’ve run out of the medicine we brought. Going on like this, we’re afraid that before we make it back to the city, the young master might bleed profusely again.”

“So we could only come back here to ask if you have any spare medicine?”

“Antiseptic medicine? Yes, I have some! I’ll go get it now!”

Ma Gu promptly fetched his stash of antiseptic medicine at top speed and handed it to Guard Li.

Although antiseptic medicine was expensive, at that moment, he couldn’t care less about the cost.

Watching Guard Li lift Young Master Wei’s clothes to apply the antiseptic medicine, the sight of the horrific wound made Ma Gu’s eyes twitch.

He couldn’t begin to imagine just how Young Master Wei had fallen to slice such a large gash in his stomach.

“Guard Li, what do you plan to do next?”

After Guard Li had applied the medicine, Ma Gu asked.

“We’re planning to take the young master back to the city immediately,” Guard Li answered without hesitation.

“But didn’t you say Young Master Wei might not withstand the bumpy ride?” Ma Gu quickly said.

“Taking the young master back gives him a chance at survival. If we delay any further, he might not even have that chance.”

There was another unspoken reality that Guard Li did not mention.

This was their chance for survival too.

But Ma Gu was in a panic.

If he allowed Guard Li and the others to return like this, and Young Master Wei was rescued, perhaps it wouldn’t be a big deal for him.

But if Young Master Wei died en route, who knew whether these guards would simply flee.

And then, he would be the one to suffer.

No, he must think of a plan!

Ma Gu’s mind raced, wracking his brains for a way to save himself.

Suddenly, an idea flashed across his mind, and his eyes lit up.

“Wait, I have a plan that might just save Young Master Wei!”
