Transmigrated as a Peasant Baby Who is Pampered by All

Chapter 39: Chapter 39: Sated Desires Follow a Full Belly

Thinking that Xiaomi liked to eat fish, Jiang Hu waved his hand grandly, ”Tonight we’ll cook fish soup, make plenty, and make it thick!”

Even though Xiaomi couldn’t eat it, the second mother could eat more, which meant Xiaomi had eaten too, right?

And Xiaomi took the opportunity to go directly into the space.

”Little fish, little fish, my little fish~” As soon as she entered the space, Xiaomi eagerly rushed to the courtyard door.

”One, two, three, four... Eight in total, four crucian carp, four unknown wild little fish, this should be enough to pair up, right?”

Looking at the little fish swimming back and forth in the large water tank, Xiaomi was extremely satisfied: ”After raising them for a while, as long as they breed little fish, these big fish can be taken out for eating.”

The large water tank was something she found from the mountain of supplies. After all, the Spiritual Spring was needed for making milk powder and for the family to drink, so how could the fish just stay in there?

But the water was also from the Spiritual Spring, so it didn’t matter where they were raised.

After watching the fish for a while, Xiaomi went outside to the yard. All the cabbage had been pulled up and piled in the warehouse, and now they have planted wheat, which had already sprouted to finger height.

It wasn’t until yesterday, after Xiaomi finished her postpartum confinement, that she realized the family had planted vegetables, not cabbages, but something similar to Shanghai Greens.

Making a round around the wheat field, Xiaomi tossed a small handful of seeds into a corner, smaller than sesame seeds, about the size of cabbage seeds.

She had taken these when her parents were resting, secretly from her bundle, and it took her quite some effort.

Moreover, to avoid suspicion, Xiaomi only took a small handful, about a dozen grains in total.

”With spiritual energy nourishing them in the space, these vegetable grains will definitely grow better, and by then they will be specifically earmarked to be taken out to plant.”

Xiaomi pondered while touching her chin. The little baby, with a diaper still tucked on her backside, was making a thoughtful pose, utterly adorable.

Fortunately, there was no one else in the space, otherwise seeing this would make anyone want to pick her up and give her a kiss.

After over a month of growth, Xiaomi’s body and spiritual power have improved quite a bit, allowing her to accomplish more in the space.

During this time, when she got bored, she categorized all the supplies in the space, and recently she had been working on making an inventory.

She found a large drawing board and placed it a little outside the courtyard, drawing a map of the supply distribution and marking where each type was located.

Although it was her space, if she didn’t know where things were, she wouldn’t be able to find them in a hurry.

However, the distribution map was not yet complete. She had only drawn a draft and still needed a few more busy days.

Her spiritual power controlled the drawing board and pen, and the distribution map was rather skewed, like an earthworm’s crawl.

She had considered drawing by hand, but she was too small, and there wasn’t much strength in her hands, and the drawings weren’t as nice as those controlled by spiritual power.

Thankfully, she was the only one in the space, so as long as she could understand it, it was fine.

When she reached the appliances section, Xiaomi suddenly noticed something and quickly moved over,”A household intelligent egg incubator?”

Indeed, it was a small white box that she originally thought was an oven or something, only noticing the words ”household intelligent egg incubator” now.

Thinking of something, Xiaomi hurriedly threw aside the drawing board and carefully searched this section. Soon, she controlled a solar panel over.

”Haha, now it’s perfect, with a solar panel and an incubator, I can finally start my farming enterprise!”

Xiaomi was overjoyed, ”Meat pigeons, peacocks, ostriches! I’m coming!”

Having lost interest in fiddling with the distribution map, she threw it aside and controlled the solar panel along with the incubator to an empty space far away.

First, she seriously read the usage instructions for both items, then carefully followed the instructions to operate them.

Solar energy absorbs light and heat to generate electricity, and any surplus energy can be stored in the panel. The incubator was household-sized, quite small, with limited functions, not using much electricity.

However, just as Xiaomi excitedly set everything up, she found that the solar panel had no response whatsoever.

”Is it broken? It shouldn’t be, they were all just unboxed!” Xiaomi checked it thoroughly: ”Or was it disassembled when crossing through space?”

That couldn’t be right either. Although things in the space got jumbled up when she traveled to this world, none of the chicken, duck, or quail eggs were broken. There was no reason this thing should be broken.

Finally, Xiaomi looked up toward the sky...

”Oh my goodness! There’s no sun at all!”

The sky was filled with layers of white fog, surrounding every direction.

Though it was always daylight here, there was no sunlight, no breeze, the temperature was just right, neither too hot nor too cold, and no matter when you entered, there was no difference felt at all.

After all that effort, it was all for nothing!

Xiaomi angrily glared at the equipment in front of her, feeling it was a waste of emotion!

Just as she was about to put the stuff back, she noticed someone approaching and quickly left the space. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw the second mother approaching with a smile.

”Xiaomi’s awake. You played all day, are you tired?” She said, touching Xiaomi’s forehead.

Nearby, Iron Egg saw it, quickly babbling to remind his mother not to just focus on his sister.

The second mother also touched him and picked him up: ”Iron Egg was very good today too. Are you hungry? Mommy will feed you now.”

Each time they fed, it was almost always Iron Egg first. It couldn’t be helped; the little guy would cry as soon as he got hungry, whereas Xiaomi hadn’t cried once.

Hearing the second mother’s words, Xiaomi patted her stomach, realizing she was hungry after spending so long in the space.

Looking at the sky outside, it was already pitch black, and the air was filled with the aroma of fish soup, coming from her mother’s body.

It turned out they had already finished dinner.

Listening to the sound of Iron Egg nursing, Xiaomi felt even hungrier, but she had forgotten to dissolve the milk powder earlier, so she quickly drank some Spiritual Spring water herself, feeling a bit better afterward.

After eating and drinking enough, her father called the second mother over to wash up, and soon the whole family returned to their room.

”Second mother, after these next few busy days, I’ll head up the mountain to find some wood to make new beds for the big kid and the second girl. The children are no longer small and can sleep separately.”

Before, there was neither time nor energy, and now that he had both, naturally he started to plan.

Lying on the bed blowing bubbles, Xiaomi watched her father holding her mother’s hand and secretly rolled her eyes.

Dad, don’t think I don’t know, your true intentions are elsewhere.

As the saying goes, ”A full stomach leads to thoughts of desire,” perfectly applies to her father, who no longer worried about food and drink, started to have illicit thoughts.

But on second thought, Xiaomi understood. After all, her dad appeared to be only around thirty, and considering people married early and had children early in ancient times, her dad was probably only in his twenties, just looked older due to life’s hardships.

Young and energetic, with her mom pregnant and escaping from famine, he must have been abstinent for a long time, so now...

Xiaomi sighed, ”Mom just gave birth, Dad, please be careful, don’t let us end up with a little brother or sister, you won’t be able to afford to raise them!”
