Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

With the combined power of the Soul Eating Curse and her Resonance with her Magic Catalyst, Monica was able to accomplish an incredible feat, allowing her Tedy Bear to easily kill dozens of Nightmareborns in mere seconds. This powerful yet dangerous and tiring to conjure spell, once imbued into a physical medium, became a physical contact-only effect.

Therefore, the Teddy can now eat away the souls of anything it smashes with its mighty, stuffy arms! Which it showed, as these Nightmareborns ended meeting their demise quicker than they could have ever imagined. And Monica wasn’t even done yet.

More buzzed towards her, hitting the barriers angrily, she spread her aura even further and then, sent the Teddy Bear-like ghosts within her Catalyst’s Aura.

“{Cursed Ghostly Spirit Companions Summon}!”

The ghostly companions rushed outside the barrier, as the Nightmareborns, resembling giant mosquitoes with deadly syringe-shaped heads, attacked them.

The little teddy bear were mostly weak on their own, however.

That is, if Monica didn’t do anything with them.

Like her teddy bear, they were mini catalysts to her magic to spread further, to do more interesting things.

“{Cursed Spectral Ghostly Resonance}: {Accursed Abyss Chains} + {Mana Draining Curse}!”

FLAAASH!

The teddy bear phantoms suddenly released their spectral and shadow auras, releasing giant black chains from their small bodies. Before the Nightmareborns could harm them, over fifty of them were trapped within countless black chains.

“I-I need more Mana, so please, give me everything you’ve got…!”

The chains, infused with the mana draining curse, began absorbing all the mana from the Nightmareborns! Unlike Hollows they didn’t die, however, but felt much more weakened.

FLUOSH!

As Monica harnessed the Mana within her body, which carried traces of Nightmare Essence which she felt weren’t harmful to her, as she expected, she raised her hands, and the chains rushed towards the barrier.

“Now, smash them!”

“…!”

The Teddy Bear’s mighty stuffed arms looked as if they turned super muscular out of nowhere, smashing the bodies of the weakened, trapped Nightmareborns, without even using Soul Draining Curse, as it was quite exhausting to conjure.

BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!

BOOOMMM!!!

The series of punches combined into a big explosion, consuming anything within the vicinity into a black hole that ate it all, before disappearing completely…

FLUOSH!

“W-Woah…”

Monica herself couldn’t believe just how powerful she had suddenly become. The combination of spells, techniques, and weapon abilities, and even her soul-bound skills…

Everything could create an even higher level of strength!

Her entire life the girl had felt weak, helpless, and lost. In a world that took away her happiness, her family, everything, she always wished she could die.

But after Elena, Anna, Elisa, and Elayne entered her life, things slowly improved over time, even though many challenges also came alongside them.

Perhaps her life was in even more danger than it ever was before but…

She felt happy!

With this strength, she didn’t plan to intimidate people, to intimidate others, and even less to abuse innocents or anything of the sort.

She was only going to use it to protect those she now loved.

Her new family…

“Mom, dad… Despite how dangerous things are, I’m having fun… And I’m happy!”

As she smiled to herself and confidently furrowed her eyebrows, she unleashed more chains, more curses, and more blows with her catalyst.

The incredible combination of all of this created an endless loop! Even when giant combined chimera Nightmareborns appeared, they were quickly dealt with moderately easy, as they were, like the rest, smashed to pieces.

“HMPH!”

Her Teddy Bear let out of a grumpy groan, nodding while crossing its fluffy, stuffed arms with confidence and strength.

She never imagined the little teddy bear her parents gifted her when she was only five years old would one day become such a formidable magical guardian.

In a way, it felt like the teddy bear carried their love for her as well, as the teddy bear would always protect her no matter what, even when not even told that as an order.

“Thank you for your help so far, Teddy!”

She patted the teddy bear in the leg, as its red eyes glanced at her, it still looked like a stuffed animal toy to her but… it carried a certain “liveness” to it.

“HMM!”

It let out a groan again, before kicking a giant Nightmareborn that got too close, before beginning to punch it again…

From a distance, Elisa, who had already begun fighting the Nightmareborns with her new spells, techniques, soul-bound skills, and above all her newly evolved weapon, could only watch with a slight smile.

“You’ve improved a lot, Monica… I have to admit it!”

As she smiled, feeling proud of Monica, her golden gloves gathered golden flames, and her aura grew stronger, channeling not just Mana, but Spiritual Energy, Ki, and Draconic Power.

“And that somehow really makes me happy… Ugh…”

She swung her fists forward, as her Aura resembled a fierce, roaring dragon, her gloves, now capable of turning into giant golden gauntlets around her hands, smashed the living shit out of the Nightmareborns.

“{Golden Dragon’s Claws}!”

BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!

As she destroyed them, spreading explosions of golden light everywhere, Elisa kept thinking about Monica, her improvements, and her changes.

She felt more and more flustered, especially by how awesome she had become lately…

And as she blushed, she remembered that kiss that Monica, the shiest girl she had ever known, stole from her out of nowhere back then…

She got flustered, embarrassed, and angry!

“You sure love stealing the spotlight, don’t you? Hmph! Damn perv!”

Her gauntlets overflowed with magical and blazing draconic power, as she noticed three giants Nightmareborns rushing towards her side of the barrier.

To allow them to strike the barrier would mean a lot of durability lost!

She couldn’t afford that; she couldn’t let them harm the barrier even more when they weren’t even in the Nightmare Cloud yet.

“Heh! Have you come to die? Then you’re more than welcome! Oohoho!”

As she laughed like a rich young lady would, Elisa’s fists moved forward, resembling giant draconic fists covered on golden scales, all while explosive bursts of lightning erupted with each blow.

“{Thunder Dragon Fist}!”

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
