Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

As the Dream Fae were summoned and we saw them adorably wandering around aimlessly, shaped as pillows from all things, we moved to summon the second and last batch of creatures that will defend us in the Dream Realm, these originating from another of Morpheus’ new Abilities he learned after his most recent evolution.

“{Summon Cursed Nightmare Undead}!”

FLUOOOSH!

Instead of the clouds of pink color, this time, some black gas-like substance leaked out of Morpheus skulls, spreading everywhere around me, and rapidly taking shape. The smoke, or gas, quickly became humanoid, and then solidified into black bones, spectral-looking beings, and will-o-wisps.

These were Cursed Nightmare Undead, powerful Undead-type summons that were also Nightmare Spirits of some sort, they weren’t true Undead as you didn’t need any corpse or souls to summon them though, but rather, imitations of them.

Why does Morpheus have such a power? Well, his major ingredient are three Undead, servants of the Demon King of Death that joined me, and which ultimately became this huge scythe.

When they sacrificed themselves to protect me, I used their bones and souls, alongside the core of a powerful Dream Spirit, to create Morpheus.

Morpheus carries their three souls merged into one, creating a unique personality with their fused effects.

Therefore, within him, he also carries Nether Essence and the Undead Powers and “Origin” of his ingredients.

Perhaps thanks to that, his Dream and Nightmare Magic is quite unique and has been twisted in one way or another by this Nether he possesses within him.

And therefore, these Undead were born. There were apparently four times, and we could only summon them of them at random.

The most common type were Cursed Black Nightmare Skeleton Warriors, made of black bones and wearing rusty-looking black armor, carrying cursed weapons.

The next most common were Wailing Nightmare Banshees, spectral women-like ghostly beings, with pale white skin, long black hair, wearing gray dresses and covered on black feathers.

The third most common were the will-o-wisps, large blue colored phantasmal flames, which were actually burning phantasmal souls, but also were nightmare or dream spirits of some sort.

And the rarest, which we only had one specimen were the Great Nightmare Beast Zombie, a giant wolf-like zombie of pitch-black color and red eyes, a zombie and a nightmare spirit.

I think they can be a variety of other animals, but we got a wolf, and it is pretty big, over four meters of height at that.

“Wooow! These are Undead, right?” Lily wondered. “Elayne I had no idea you became a necromancer now!”

“I-I am not a necromancer, these are Nightmare Spirits I think, they’re just shaped as Undead due to Morpheus’ powers,” I explained. “Anyway, I think we’re done with the guardians, Morpheus.”

“Good, now the last step,” He said. “Come, all of you surround us as a group.”

The Undead and the Fae Spirits gathered around us, creating a circle to protect us, mostly floating in midair while doing so.

Our group was huge, we were more than ten members at that! So we barely fit inside the circle.

“Alright,” Morpheus said. “Now, master, with me…”

“Sure!” I nodded.

We synchronized our chanting and combined our Mana and Spirit Energies, combining several Spells together into a giant, large magic circle, a Fusion Spell!

A special one to ensure our survival and safety in this dangerous Realm.

“{Dream Manipulation} + {Dream World Travel} + {Dream Storage} + {Dream & Nightmare Distortion} = {Traveling Dream Cloud of Nightmare Protection}!”

FLAAASH!

Nightmare and Dream Power merged, encompassing us together until we found ourselves inside a giant cloud of fluffy pink colored clouds, resembling cotton candy.

The interior was also very spacious, and we could be inside without much trouble! Hell, there was even couches to sit on made of this comfortable fluffy dream cloud.

“And it’s done! We’ll be traveling inside of this!” I said. “Do you like it?”

“Wooow! It has an interior?! This is a spell?!” Katherine wondered, looking around. “I am simply amazed!”

“It’s cozy in here!” Gabriel said, sitting over one of the cloud-made couches. “I could get used to sleeping in here, honestly…”

“It’s pretty spacious…” Mark noticed. “Wow, it really is a large place… I-Is this really a spell? How long does this last?”

“As long as I supply it with Mana it should last indefinitely,” I said. “It’ll be how we travel; Morpheus will be controlling it. I doubt we’ll spend too long in the Realm though, but we’re better safe than sorry.”

“Yeah you’re not wrong mom,” my daughter said. “So when do we go?”

“Right now! Let’s do this!” I smile with excitement. “Morpheus!”

“Yes, master, on the way.” He nodded.

The entire cloud began moving rapidly towards the gate, as we passed through it rather swiftly, despite how large the cloud.

FLAAAASH!

As we did, we immediately felt some turbulences, the entire cloud began shaking constantly, as we saw countless colors coming through the clouds, we were moving through some sort of dimensional boundary between our world and the Dream and Nightmare Realm.

RUMBLE!

Then the cloud trembled a lot, but it remained stable and strong, until we completely passed through the gate, which I made to close itself once we were here.

“And here we are, the Realm of Dreams and Nightmares…!” Morpheus said. “You can see it if I make the upper area of the cloud invisible.”

FLASH!

Suddenly, everything became clearer to our eyes.

We were no longer in our world anymore, the entire landscape, the world around us, was completely different.

There wasn’t any “ground” for example, and the endless horizon around us was a combination of pink clouds, clear pink or dark sky, and black, thunderous clouds.

To the distance, there were dozens of giants, floating pieces of “land” everywhere, with all shapes and forms.

We immediately saw some strange sightings, such as a giant, floating rubric cube constantly twisting and changing colors, which was perhaps the size an entire city, a massive pink colored whale with a rainbow beard, and a… head, the head of a man, looking at us from above, it was enormous. It only watched for a second before flying elsewhere.

“T-This is freaky…” Anna muttered.

Well, she chose to come here, so she better bear with it, things are only going to get weirder.
