Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

With the Spacetime Disturbance stopping us from reaching our goal easily, our only way to get through that is by the Nightmare Cloud, a black cloud constantly reverberating with thunderous energies and spectral things surrounding it.

Apparently, its literally the only way we’re getting there… The Spacetime Disturbance also seems to be rather strange, but right now, it feels like we don’t have any other choice, and just wondering what it might be or who could be behind it won’t solve our problems either way.

However, it seems too powerful and big to be caused by a person, therefore, it is probably a bizarre natural phenomenon, of the many of this strange, gigantic Realm.

Or so we hope…

“That Nightmare Cloud… How are those even formed?” my daughter asked.

“They’re high concentrations of Nightmares, and these are enormous quantities of negative energy,” explained Morpheus. “They are breeding grounds for Nightmareborns… Once we get inside, we’ll be surely attacked.”

“So like what creates Hollows?” Wondered Mark.

“Yes, Hollows and Nightmareborns are related to an extent, both are conceptual beings born from accumulated negative emotions, but both are born in different planes,” Morpheus explained. “Hollows are naturally weaker as they’re born in the physical plane, even if most people can’t see them. Unlike Nightmareborns they primarily seek Mana… but they can also devour Souls if they’re powerful enough. And once they begin devouring Souls they can evolve and become even stronger, and smarter…”

“Huh…” Elena nodded. “I wonder if it could be possible to draw power from these beings… Ah, never mind.”

“I guess that’s what those sorcerers do right?” Jenny wondered. “Probably that’s why they want to come here so badly, Nightmareborns seem like even scarier Hollows.”

“Probably…” I nodded. “Ah, Morpheus, you said something about our attacks not being as effective against beings from this Realm, right?”

“Yeah, it is something that is probably common in other Realms as well,” Morpheus explained. “The laws of physics inside of Realms vary greatly, how beings are composed and made as well. In this conceptual realm entities here are very resistant to the physical planet’s magic and attacks. They’re conceptual beings born from imagination, dreams, and nightmares after all, “real things” won’t affect them so much. You need to use fire against fire… Usually, you would have to accumulate Dream or Nightmare Attribute Essence into your bodies, or Runes, to gain more of this power, once your each a certain level like Elayne, it should be possible to harm them. The more of this energy inside your body, the more you can harm them and resist their attacks… Other Realms probably have similar effects and requirements…”

“As of right now, only Elayne here can damage these monsters to the extent of being able to kill them and harvest their cores and other materials… I would recommend doing so as, well, we might as well do it if we’re fighting them,” he said. “My summons can also fight them, and of course me… If you could summon more Dream or Nightmare Spirits as well, that would be convenient, master.”

“Alright then… Is there no way for me to help everyone here get more Dream Essence so they can damage the monsters?” I wondered.

“Hmm, with my current abilities or your own? No…” he said. “But maybe if you can create a new Spell, that might do it.”

“A new spell you say?” I wondered. “You’re right… I do have several slots, let’s make one then.”

I quickly concentrated, closing my eyes and looking into my own internal Magic Circle.

Now that I am Tier 5, it has grown larger, it has five rings attached to it, and thousands of runes.

I can feel a great deal of power within me too.

There are empty areas though, where I can connect runes and create new spells.

I just have to touch these, tap them, and make new spells to help everyone.

I need to combine the Dream Runes I have, plus the Runes arranging other Dream Spells…

I glanced at all my available spells and even my Soul Traits and Abilities.

If I could combine their essences into this Spell…

Oh right, the [Mystic Bellflower Dreamscape] Soul Trait!

Can I make a spell off its power?

I tried connecting the Soul Orb I had into the Magic Circle through a spiritual thread.

And…

FLASH!

It works!

That’s right, these Soul Traits were formed using Spells and Physique Abilities too, so they naturally can combine with Spells.

If I can build new Spells and Physique Abilities off them, then I can get even stronger effects and powers, adding new abilities to the Soul Traits.

Mystic Bellflower Dreamscape is mostly to make people fall asleep though, where they’re protected in the Dream Realm…

But wait, can’t I use it here to get an opposite effect? If we’re already in the Dream Realm, then the Mystical Bellflower Dreamscape can unleash a domain with the tree that will protect us!

Isn’t it?

I never thought about it that way!

It requires a lot of Mana though, but I have plenty with my connection to my Avatar having strengthened.

I can also summon a Terrain here, it’s large enough.

Yeah, with the Soul Trait I already have, we already got a good defensive barrier and domain for us!

But now, the problem is giving dream power to everyone.

The barriers of the bellflower dreamscape are strong, but it mostly protects from damage, it doesn’t make people stronger.

So we’re going to build off that into a new spell that synergizes with the barrier, hehe.

Here, there, and that…

Like this!

FLUOSH!

I forged a new spell in a few seconds.

And the Voice of the World reached even here, another Realm entirely.

[You have successfully combined several Spiritual and Dream Runes with your Soul Trait: [Mystic Bellflower Tree Dreamscape] to engrave a new Advanced Spell inside your Magic Circle.]

[You have created the Advanced Spell: [Mystic Bellflower Tree Dream Armor]!]

[Mystic Bellflower Tree Dream Armor]: [Summon the [Mystic Bellflower Tree Dreamscape] through your Soul Trait to conjure this Spell. Once activated, the Spell will combine with the roots and wood of the Bellflower Tree, wrapping around any allies within the {Dreamscape Domain} and creating powerful Armor {Mystic Bellflower Tree Dream Armor} that will protect them from Dream Damage by reducing it by 50%, increase their own Dream Damage by 100%, and grant +5.000 Dream Runes for as long as the armor lasts, fueled by your and their Mana.]

Yes! It was perfect!
