Paragon Of Sin

1948 Chapter 1940: Unfettered Dawn!

The Void Altar, resembling a grand archway within the Neo Zenith Tower, sparked to life. A Void Portal, embodying the mysterious depths of space, manifested as a thin veil of black ether. From beyond this veil of the void, a tall figure of unearthly and majestic qualities stepped through with complete ease. An alchemical scent diffused into the air, carrying faint, profound qualities of the Alchemic Dao.

”Itʼs as effective as we theorized,” Wei Wuyin commented as Kratos, Eden, and Magus proudly vibrated their Mystic Forms.

The Void Altarʼs luminescent pearl at the apex point of the archway shimmered with seven-colored iridescent light. Within Wei Wuyinʼs right hand was a Star Disc, shining with freshly expended void energy.

”Lord Wei,” Su Meiʼs voice resounded in a calm greeting tone. She stood at the forefront of a group of four; standing behind her were Hong Xuannu, Pakhet, and Kang Min-ji. Not surprised by their appearance, which was garbed in battle-ready outfits, Wei Wuyin waltzed forward as his Imperial Heaven Aura pulsed outwards as naturally as breathing.

The trio greeted him in harmony, as if practiced and instructed by a steady hand. They were under Su Meiʼs direct supervision, acting on her orders while he was away, and she spared no expense in drilling certain etiquette. They were the Neo Zenith Towerʼs primary forces.

Wei Wuyin walked past them. Su Mei followed by his side, standing shoulder to shoulder with him, while the trio kept seven paces behind in equal measure. Their orderly attitudes were enough to cause Wei Wuyin to feel some admiration for Su Meiʼs methods.

”Heaven-Saint Ancient Zenithʼs invitation extends to her personal Zenith World,” Su Mei informed. The Zenith World was an artificial planet, but not one created through typical means of planetary-cultivation arts, but an artificial spiritual planet created solely by a Spiritual Spell. Normally, it would require all seven Zeniths to collaborate their spiritual power and Utmost Purity Mist to create, but Heaven-Saint Ancient Zenith could do so alone with spiritual qi, a significant sign of her status above all and below none.

Wei Wuyin acknowledged with a nod, not stopping his steps as he calmly made his way through the halls. After the Dawning Day of Supreme Death and his subsequent expedition for vengeance, the Utmost Purity Galaxy had grown rather quiet, especially the seven Zeniths. If he had to guess, they were digesting the recent truths that were exposed regarding his cultivation and talent.

”With her are several prominent and obscure talents of the Thriving Prohibition Galaxy, Prosperous Ruin Galaxy, Buried Sword Galaxy, True Rembrandt Galaxy, and Astral Gaze Galaxy, including our own. Daoist Su Yi is also there. Lady Luo is currently attending in your stead, alongside Miss Jiang and Enlightened Sage Imentet.”

ʼOh?ʼ Wei Wuyinʼs eyes briefly sparked to life. It seemed that Pakhetʼs ascension was translating well to the others, already showing results as Imentet had leapt into that difficult stage of the True Soul Phase. Alongside that news was Jiang Ling, his game of Mysticsʼ Chosen and the subsequent winner of the entire game, who was later taken under Pakhetʼs wing as her student, was showing her diligence here by shouldering some duties.

”Any orders, Lord Wei?” Su Meiʼs professionalism in public settings was impeccable, and her words, tone, and demeanor exuded respectfulness.

”Ready the Primes for deployment,” Wei Wuyin instructed as Su Mei nodded. Kang Min-ji and Hong Xuannuʼs eyes flickered with curiosity. Primes? Who were they? And what were they for?

Wei Wuyin didnʼt elaborate, and Su Mei needed no elaboration. Su Mei continued updating on a few topics, including how the Star Disc of the Incandescent Star Palace had regained its vigor after the public condemnation of an outside force deliberately lying about their effectiveness. It was then publicly announced that the discs were ʼimprovedʼ and were given discounts on certain bulk orders.

Once again, the Utmost Purity Galaxy gained an upgrade on connection and transportation, elevating importing and exporting ventures, reducing safety concerns of Void Pirates or Void Phenomena, and reducing time waste. It was already showing signs of deep societal integration in its early days, but after this event, including the renewed spread of the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saintʼs legitimacy, the level of exposure was peerless.

Among the readied updates was profit from business contracts and dealings of alchemical products. Among them was the effectiveness of issuing out a dozen or so loss leaders to further their reach and name in the galaxy. However, even then, profits were well within the green. Alchemy was simply that profitable.

Hong Xuannu silently gasped at the sheer profits, far beyond a century of her Void Pirate ventures. Kang Min-jiʼs eyes glittered with green light while Pakhet was entirely indifferent. She was fully aware of Wei Wuyinʼs absurd wealth. The price of the products she consumed far exceeded these profits by more than a hundred times. If the galaxy knew of Wei Wuyinʼs generous treatment of his Alchemic Knights, there would be a line from here to the edge of the galaxy of those desiring this position.

Wei Wuyinʼs eyes shone with genuine joy at hearing the profits rolling in. Even if he had billions or trillions or quintillions of times that amount, he was also happy to pocket a single qi stone despite a billion in the bank. This was furthered by the signs of opening a chain of emporiums and specialized alchemical shops after new contracts were negotiated. The incident where many of his business partners showed hesitation had given them greater room to implant themselves here and there.

Eventually, the quintet arrived at the entrance of the Neo Zenith Tower, stopping as the Dark Void was beyond.

Su Mei took a step forward. ”Your commission for a Void Vessel has been finished,” she informed as she tossed out a clear bottle containing a small galleon-shaped ship. Its silver hull was etched with the designs of eighteen vividly colorful dragons and the Neo-Dawn Empireʼs insignia, which was also inscribed on its sails. Each of the dragons was an array at the peak of the Mystic-World grade, and together, they miraculously united to rival a Mystic-Heaven grade!

A Mystic-Heaven graded Void Vessel!

While it had taken extreme temporal acceleration zones and the harsh labor of those talented few from the fallen Talisman Star Palace and Shattered Star Palace, including the joint efforts of Endless Star Palace and Forged Star Palace, which were very incentivized to put in their best effort after their stunt of assisting his enemies, covering every cost and sweat needed to be put into it.

It was even designed in accordance with the Void Vessels of the Ancient Sealed Regionsʼ ancient standards that were adopted by the Neo-Dawn Empire. Rarely were the Void Vessels beyond the Onestar Domain of a true ship design, and those were mostly ancient designs that had been replaced by other shapes.

”It has yet to receive a name,” Su Mei said with a faint smile.

Wei Wuyin grabbed the bottle, observing the beauty of the arrays and their distinct silver color that matched his eyes. With a grin, he tossed the bottle into the Dark Void and executed a hand-seal. The bottleʼs surface shone as various runes began to shatter, causing the bottle to dissolve as the ship expanded!

When it appeared in all its five-hundred-meter-tall glory, the eighteen dragons unleashed a roar, exerting extreme World Pressure and a vague Heavenly Force over the surroundings, and stabilizing space, anchoring itself without the slightest movement. It wasnʼt massive, yet it made an unforgettable impact.

”Unfettered Dawn,” Wei Wuyin named it.

The three behind were shaken to their souls. The eighteen dragons that swam animatedly across the hall as if a living painting unleashed a synchronized roar, each seemingly gaining a spirituality as faint wisps of primordial divine mist and spiritual divine mist were expelled from its lower keel. Briefly, they had the feeling that there was no place this vessel couldnʼt enter, and no place it couldnʼt exit.

”You...” Kang Min-ji was stunned. She noticed the dual divine mist, her heart shaken by the discovery.

”Great name,” Su Mei praised. She began to inform him that all his specifications had been adhered to, including its ability to be refined and improved upon with time, leaving it much room for growth and inclusion. This meant it could one day, with external refinement, attain the peak of the Mystic-Heaven grade. That said, the effort required would be unimaginable.

This wasnʼt the first vessel with this ability, but not a single one had reached the peak of the Mystic-Heaven grade through this method.

Wei Wuyin jumped onto the Unfettered Dawn. He didnʼt rely on those control arts filled with flaws and delays between command and action, but outright dominated the formations, imbuing the will of Eden and Kratos within. The Unfettered Dawn would be an extension of himself.

Already, Magus was cursing at the creator, correcting certain inefficiencies within the arrays and formations that composed them with Edenʼs help. Kratos seized control of the helm as Ori pestered it.

”Go fast! Go fast!” Ori wanted Unfettered Dawn to go top speed! This was their first personal Void Vessel that was all their own!

King remained silent amidst the chaos. However, it had stealthily entered the concealment array and was changing its properties. Meanwhile, Little Defiant had located the engine. The energy core was changed to a tiny, incredibly small version of itself. The eighteen dragons illuminated in their various colors, emitting frightening flares of solar power.

Seeing them each place their mark onto it, Athena decided to take action as well. Atop the Unfettered Dawn was a flag that fluttered majestically without wind, releasing faint sounds of battle and the scent of blood; the Nexus War Flag was flown at its highest height, etched with the Neo-Dawn Empireʼs insignia!

Su Mei and the trio came aboard after Wei Wuyin beckoned them with a hand gesture after these seven numbskulls finished their final touches.

”This...” All three of them sensed that the Void Vessel felt alive. Furthermore, the warmth of the solar light originating from its energy core was so comforting and pure that they all had an urge to cultivate.

”Letʼs go,” Wei Wuyin felt light as he ushered this order. And to the shock of the trio, the Unfettered Dawnʼs eighteen dragons seemed to have heard as a draconic roar was unleashed, followed by a violent propulsion of pure elemental origin and void power!

BOOSH!!!

They soar out! Speeds exceeding any Mystic Ascendant Realm cultivator!

Unbeknownst to Wei Wuyin, Unfettered Dawn would one day...determine his life and death!
