Paragon Of Sin

Chapter 1906: Chapter 1898: A World Of War

The acrid scent of blood, sweat, and metal suffused the air. Sounds of pained cries, agonizing howls, and the clang of steel on steel reverberated throughout. As one listened closely, no two sounds were the same.

Wei Wuyinʼs consciousness and awareness of self was born.

ʼWhere am I?ʼ

The light that erupted dice primordial light blooming at the dawn of all creation, abrupt and instantaneous. Wei Wuyinʼs consciousness instantly connected to his Prime Devil Heart. It brought all of his consciousness into existence with the heat of mental strength, and smiling a soul into resonance with the light itself.

It was hope.

There was a heaviness. Trying to lift this heaviness was no different than pushing a boulder up a slanted incline. He knew this from the start. He was trying to push against it, but his body was weak and he had been wounded. The fires erupted that bloomed throughout his thought.

It was an ambition.

It was life.

It was a hope.

PUSH!!!

PUSH!!!

”OPEN YOUR EYES!!!”

”HAAARGH!!!” A forceful inhale triggered a rising reaction as a pair of silver eyes exploded open with the force of his last words.

The silver eyes, once lifeless, now held a fierce light, an unyielding resolve that made it possible while expanding and reaffirming the existence of oneʼs being and ability to breathe. The ability to live.

”What...What just happened?”

A heart wrenching throb resonated in the ears, capable of instilling fear within the heart.

”Who are you?”

”I am Wei Wuyin, of Bat King City. I am a Royal Mortal. I am a descendant of an Arima; however, I am an Orphan. I am a child of a disgraced family. I am an outcast. I am a slave. I am a subject. I am a product. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject. I am a subject.

”I AM ME!”

A myriad of things came to fruition within an instant. Wei Wuyinʼs eyes, which were forced open by his willpower, began to swim with a myriad of shimmering astral light. He saw the world, the colors, the light and night and day, and the blue ocean. He saw everything. He saw his body covered in blood and sweat. He saw a man to his left, who was covered in blood and sweat. He saw a woman to his right, who was covered in blood and sweat. He saw a small child with his back arched inwards, caused by a hard object beneath him. His vision was clear.

”This is...”

”The sky is... is that...?” Wei Wuyinʼs heart was gripped by disbelief. The sky was sanguine, akin to fresh blood with a slight hint of crimson flowing into its depths. The sky was a vibrant tapestry of colors, all flowing together in a majestic river, but the colors were of a different type. The colors were of a different type. The colors were of a different type. There were streams of black and white, and red, and orange, all rising from the horizon to the west, significantly different from the myriad Void Colors. This plane?

”This isnʼt an Astral-based world! This is a Law-based world! A world of pure Elemental energy, where every single particle, every single atom, every single molecule, every single fundamental particle was an active World Soul. This was an extraordinary world, ancient and thriving, but where was this planet? Was this a lost fragment of the world?

”There are no stars, no sun, no moon, no constellations, no nebulae. There are only clouds of pure Elemental energy, and they are all different. There are different lines, heads, and the purest of elemental organs, and there are even known fragments of organs, that come from an endless abyss where light is never born.

The boyʼs pupils flickered wildly, the information being assimilated too quickly. He looked at the bodies, then at himself. He tried to pull his body off of him. He grunted softly, exerting his strongest might, yet he couldnʼt move. He tried to move, he tried to move.

He couldnʼt move.

Too weak.

Sighing, he tried to access his cultivation base, mobilizing his innate energies to derive greater strength. However, the world was silent to him, and he could only hear his own breathing.

”Original King! Whatʼs this? Are you there? Element! Little Deviant Bat Xoi! Heavenly War Spirit!” He called out his Astral Souls. No reply. He tried to contact them, but he received nothing. He tried again. Nothing. He tried a third time. Nothing. He tried a fourth time. Nothing. He tried a fifth time. Nothing.

”CELESTIAL EYES! COME ON!” He grunted harder, trying not to activate his Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Sense. He wanted to activate his Celestial Eyes to confirm his internal state, but he didnʼt want to use them up. He was a Mortal, and he couldnʼt use his Celestial Eyes. He wasnʼt allowed to use them.

Wei Wuyin felt sapped of energy, what little he had when he awakened, but he didnʼt give up. He looked at the child beneath him. He was a small, pale child, covered in blood and sweat. The child had a large bump on its torso, and both of his little arms were in an awkward position, unable to properly lift or move.

”Help him!”

Patiently, he felt the stability of the entire situation, and looked at himself. He looked at himself, and the strength of his limbs, and the stability of the situation. He felt the stability of the situation, and then the stability of the situation. He felt a slight shift in his hips to see where the forceʼs existence existed.

Right.

Seeing this, he began to slowly worm his torso about, steadying himself with steadied breathing to ensure stability. He was exhausted. After a while, he felt his back press against a hard object, which had been beneath him, so he used the momentum of his body to roll the child off his body to a side, off and then tumbled to the bottom.

A loud thud reverberated throughout the silent world. Wei Wuyin sounded in pain, his thoughts somewhat disoriented, but he still held his bearing as he returned to his lying down position, gazing at the sky. The tiny effort was gargantuan.

”My...my body...” Wei Wuyin gasped.

Wei Wuyinʼs voice was hoarse and not his own. He recognized the voice in his mind, however. The recognition was instantaneous. The voice was him, but it was his past self, when he was younger. He heard the voice in his mind again, and this time, the recognition was even stronger. The recognition was instantaneous. The voice was him, but it was his past self, when he was younger. The recognition was him, but it was his past self, when he was younger. The recognition was him, but it was his past self, when he was younger. The recognition was instantaneous. The recognition was instantaneous. The recognition was instantaneous. The recognition was instantaneous. The recognition was instantaneous.

”I...I...I...”

Wei Wuyinʼs voice had lost its form as if they were shouting on the other side of a wall, muffled yet distinct. He closed his eyes, relying on their images, their presence, and their meaning to him, using his mental senses to determine their forms and what they meant to him, and what they meant to him.

”ROAR!” A tyrannical roar laced with grave desperation and desire, forcing the world to bend to its will as if it were a puppet. He was a child, and the other person was another child. A child like him. He looked at the bodies. He tried to pull himself away. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies.

”ROAR!”

He looked at the bodies. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies. He tried to pull himself away from the bodies.

”No!”

Element gently howled.

He extended his head wide. He looked to his side, finding a chipped saber embedded in the chest of the man. The saber was jagged and sharp, and it had been coated in something that looked like bile and grimy gunk. The spurt of blood followed as the saber was removed. The effort left him heaving and gasping.

He felt tired. His eyelids drooped. He had been through so much. He felt as if he had run a thousand mile or so, carrying the man with him. He had also fought off countless foes, and had been ambushed countless times. He felt as if he had run a thousand mile or so, carrying the man with him. He had also fought off countless foes, and had been ambushed countless times. He felt as if he had run a thousand mile or so, carrying the man with him. He had also fought off countless foes, and had been ambushed countless times.

The family is together! Yay! Yay! Yay! Girlʼs overly excited voice echoed within his mind, bringing a smile to his lips. He liked that voice. He liked the family. He liked the warmth. He liked the love.

”Not even Hell can keep us apart.” Often commented with a sly, prideful tone of rarely shown confidence. The voice of the girl, the child, and the family together, a cheerful bunch that radiated happiness, warmth, and hope. A family that radiated happiness, warmth, and hope, despite the circumstances.

”Ish.” King remarked.

”Ish?” Element murmured.

”I donʼt know.” Despite hearing their voices, Wei Wuyin couldnʼt feel their power. Any of their power. He knew they were there. He knew they were there. He knew they were there. He knew they were there. He knew they were there. He knew they were there. He knew they were there. He knew they were there.

”Are those my feet?” He looked at his legs and feet and the metal grooves and boots that covered them. The metal was old and worn, but it still held its shape. The grooves were from some kind of wear and tear, and the boots were made from a thick hide. There was a cut on his chest alongside countless others. They all seemed to originate from the same metal.

The smell of blood, sweat, and metal returned. His throat was dry. He heard jerks and his nose sniffed. Sounds were becoming particularly louder. One such sound was footsteps.

He saw the saber and what his other hand held. He tried to move.
