School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 681: Chapter 747 Huo Xinya’s Diary

Lan Yuqin snorted coldly, ”I saw it with both eyes!”

”That means you’re blind...”

Chen Nan muttered this and immediately Lan Yu exploded in anger. He quickly changed his tune, ”I just hugged her, that’s all. How is that considered harassment?”

”Men and women shouldn’t get too close. You already forcibly hugged her, and you still dare to say it’s not harassment!”

Chen Nan sighed, ”Why are you always like this? You could argue black is white. I was just trying to pursue her, how did that become harassment? You’re a language teacher, for heaven’s sake, can’t you be a little more careful with your words?”

Pursuit!

A sour taste welled up in Lan Yuqin’s heart; this guy actually dared to admit it in front of her!

”Come with me into the office!”

Lan Yuqin’s approach suddenly became much rougher, as she grabbed Chen Nan’s clothes and dragged him into the office. Then with a ”smack,” her hand slapped down on the office desk as she shouted, ”The school doesn’t allow puppy love, don’t you know that?”

Chen Nan looked at her innocently, ”Does your hand hurt?”

”It doesn’t hurt!”

Lan Yuqin said irritably, pointing at Chen Nan’s nose, ”I’m asking you a question! Did you not hear it? The school doesn’t allow puppy love!”

”I know that!”

Chen Nan nodded and said, ”But this isn’t puppy love. I’m already twenty-one years old. Have you ever heard of a twenty-one-year-old in puppy love? If I were in the countryside, people my age would already have kids old enough to help out with chores.”

”That’s sophistry!” Lan Yuqin glared and said, ”But what about Huo Xinya? He’s not as old as you are. Harassing her like that could affect her studies.”

Chen Nan looked uncaring, ”She’s also reached eighteen, almost nineteen. So tell me, is it wrong for an adult man to pursue an adult woman? As far as I know, the law doesn’t say that’s wrong.”

Lan Yuqin, feeling dizzy from his arguments, stamped her foot, ”I don’t care about that! The school rules forbid puppy love, so it’s not allowed!”

Chen Nan was speechless, said with annoyance, ”There are so many people in the class who are dating, yet you don’t stop them. Why is it that when it comes to me, you make me out to be utterly irredeemable?”

”I do what I like. You got a problem with that? If you do, then protest!”

”Protest? I’ll protest. You think I’m afraid of you?” With a glare in his eyes, Chen Nan grew defiant, ”I’ll pursue Huo Xinya, what’s it to you? If you disagree, then bite me, go on, bite me!”

Lan Yuqin pointed at him, ”You dare to provoke me?”

”Bite me then, go on, bite me!”

Lan Yuqin puffed up her cheeks, glaring, ”You bastard, say that one more time!”

”If you disagree, then bite me, bite me!”

”Aaah!”

Lan Yuqin, driven to madness, shouted and grabbed Chen Nan’s arm, biting down hard: ”I’ll bite you to death!”

”Yi...”

Chen Nan, caught off guard, shuddered with pain and retracted his arm, exclaiming, ”Have the guts not to bite, why don’t you!”

”It’s you I’m biting!”

Lan Yuqin, biting his arm, mumbled indistinctly. Just then, Huo Xinya’s voice came from the doorway, ”Miss Lan, may I come in?”

Lan Yuqin, startled, quickly let go of Chen Nan.

”Come... come in.”

She felt utterly humiliated, her aggressive side of biting someone being seen by Huo Xinya. It was a severe blow to her image and utterly shameful.

Huo Xinya also looked speechless.

Had she not witnessed it with her own eyes, she would never have believed a class teacher, in anger, would actually bite a student.

Lan Yuqin lowered her head, quickly wiping the saliva from her lips, ”Um, Xinya, did you need something?”

Huo Xinya walked in, glanced over at Chen Nan, and said, ”Teacher, I would like to ask for a day off, is that okay?”

”Why?”

”I...”

Huo Xinya sneakily glanced at Chen Nan, then shook her head, ”Teacher, please don’t ask, I don’t want to say.”

Lan Yuqin hesitated for a moment, then nodded, ”Have you written the leave request?”

After Huo Xinya handed over the leave request for Lan Yuqin to sign, she turned around and left the office.

”Hey, Xinya...”

Chen Nan was about to follow her out, but Lan Yuqin grabbed him, ”Do you still want to harass her? She took the day off, probably because you scared her away!”

Chen Nan did want to ask Huo Xinya why she took the day off and quickly said, ”Where do you think I’m going? I haven’t even had breakfast yet, I’m going to eat!”

”Then you owe me an apology first!”

”Fine, I’m sorry.”

”That was insincere!” Lan Yuqin pointed at his nose, ”Swear that you’ll never harass Huo Xinya again.”

”Fine, I swear I’ll never harass her again.”

”If you break your oath, you’re a little dog.”

Chen Nan nodded, ”Alright, if I break my oath, I’m a little dog.”

Lan Yuqin shook off her hand, ”Get lost!”

Chen Nan didn’t say a word and dashed out of the office, chasing downstairs.

It wasn’t until he had run downstairs that Lan Yuqin felt something was wrong and quickly followed him out, ”You little bastard, stop! It’s you who are the little dog, not me!”

Unfortunately, Chen Nan had already run far away.

Chen Nan chased all the way out, but by the time he got to the school gates, he still hadn’t seen Huo Xinya. He didn’t know where she had gone.

”Has she gone home?”

Talking to himself, Chen Nan ran straight to Huo Xinya’s house.

A few minutes later, Chen Nan arrived at the front door of Huo Xinya’s house, which was tightly closed. He didn’t know if she was not at home or hiding inside.

”Xinya, are you there?”

Chen Nan knocked on the door, but there was no response from inside.

After hesitating for a moment, he took out a dart, rolled it with his inner strength, and pulled it into a thin steel wire, which he then inserted into the keyhole.

Chen Nan wasn’t professional at lock picking, but after all, even a blind cat can find a dead rat. He fiddled with the steel wire for about five minutes before the lock clicked open, and he quickly pushed the door and entered.

”Xinya, are you here?”

He didn’t see Huo Xinya in the living room, so Chen Nan walked toward her room.

The room door was unlocked, but when Chen Nan pushed the door and entered, he found that there was nobody inside. Huo Xinya must not have come home.

He turned to leave, but at that moment, an open diary on the desk caught his attention.

What has this girl written?

Chen Nan was curious, although he knew that peeping at someone else’s diary was an invasion of privacy, a very impolite act.

But Huo Xinya’s attitude toward him had been so cold today, and he was eager to know what she was really thinking; after hesitating for a while, he walked over to the desk.

On the diary, there was Huo Xinya’s neat handwriting. Chen Nan randomly turned to a page.

”A big pervert came to the class, filthy hooligan...”

”It turns out to be a misunderstanding; he’s not a pervert. He’s actually my sister’s senior brother, unbelievable.”

”I think I’m falling for him.”

”Today, I did something I’m sorry to my sister for, I started dating him, felt guilty, scared, exhilarating...”

”My sister came back, and we broke up. We’re not meant to be together, so troubled.”

”Seeing him with my sister hurts so much. I hope I can forget him soon.”

”I can’t sleep, I miss him so much, but I dare not call...”

Chen Nan’s heart trembled, and he continued reading.

”I really want to make up with him, but I can’t do that; he belongs to my sister.”

”For Qingqing, he left without saying goodbye; it seems I’m of little significance to him, but I still miss him so much. It’s ridiculous.”

”Days without seeing him feel like years...”

”I must have committed sins in my past life; falling in love with him is Heaven’s punishment for me.”
