School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 589: Chapter 663: The Enemy’s Retaliation

After running on the road for a while, Chen Nan realized this was no good.

This place was over ten miles from the West Suburb, and by the time he got there, he didn’t know how much True Qi he would have exhausted. If he encountered a powerful enemy then, things would probably not go well.

”Since I’m no gentleman anyway, I might as well do something unscrupulous,” he thought.

Chen Nan stopped, surveying the vehicles coming and going on the road, and quickly set his sights on a Volkswagen Touareg.

Seeing the car roaring towards him, Chen Nan charged into the middle of the road to block it.

The driver of the Touareg thought he had encountered a madman and hurriedly slammed on the brakes. The vehicle stopped two meters away from Chen Nan.

The driver was sweating bullets with fear but before he could recover, Chen Nan rushed forward and with a ”smash”, punched the car window to shatter the glass, and grabbed the driver by the collar.

”Buddy, please step out and take a break. I’m taking your car for a spin.”

While speaking, Chen Nan dragged the driver out through the window and tossed him to the side of the road. Then he jumped into the car, pressed the gas pedal to the floor, and like an enraged tiger, the car sped off in an instant.

The young driver left on the side of the road simply couldn’t believe what had just happened.

Broad daylight, the sun had just set, and someone was brazen enough to carjack on the main road!

After cursing up at the sky, the young man hurriedly took out his cellphone to call the police.

Meanwhile, the carjacker, Chen Nan, had already sped off for a mile or two. The 4.2-liter engine had immense burst power—it was not just hype. His foot on the gas, the speed of the car soared to 280 mph, surpassing the official top speed.

He raced all the way, straight to the West Suburb.

...

Provincial capital!

Within the courtyard of a grand and imposing villa.

Ling Dongqiang, the Family Head of the Ling family, a man over sixty years old, was currently lying in a recliner with a smoking pipe in hand. His sharp gaze exuded an aura of natural authority and might.

He was feeling extremely irritable at the moment.

The Divine Sky Sect and the Red Snake Gang were his Ling family’s hounds, but now they had both been consecutively destroyed, which had made him unprecedentedly furious.

Moreover, direct descendants of the Ling family had died together with these two groups!

When the Divine Sky Sect was wiped out, his third son, Ling Tianfeng, was crushed to death by Chen Nan’s fist. Now, with the Red Snake Gang destroyed, his second son, Ling Tianhua, and his fourth son, Ling Tiangu, had also fallen to the enemy’s hand.

What infuriated him even more was that despite employing the entire Ling family’s intelligence network, after half a day of tracking, they still couldn’t identify who had wiped out the Red Snake Gang!

Not even knowing who the enemy was!

Having a bellyful of rage with no outlet for release.

The more Ling Dongqiang thought about it, the more stifled he felt. His prestigious Ling family was being humiliated, and they were losing face!

He clenched his fists tightly, and a nearly tangible Killing Aura surged around him, on the verge of erupting. But at that moment, a voice came from behind: ”Family Head, our people have found out. The person who destroyed the Red Snake Gang is...”

Ling Dongqiang stood up abruptly and bellowed coldly, ”Who is it!?”

”It’s... It’s that Crown Prince of the Sky Team again, Chen Nan!”

”Smack...”

Ling Dongqiang, unable to contain his fury, punched and shattered a nearby rockery. Gang Qi raged, sending stones flying in all directions.

The middle-aged man who brought the news shuddered with fear, anxious that in his anger, Ling Dongqiang would commit indiscriminate slaughter and inadvertently harm him. He quickly fell to his knees with a ”thud” and pleaded, ”Family Head, please calm your anger!”

Ling Dongqiang clenched his fists tightly, veins bulging on his face.

He glared at the middle-aged man before him and said coldly, ”This Chen Nan is merely at the Qi Dao Ten Layers, while my son, Tian Gui, has already attained the Third Level of Tao. How could he possibly have been killed by him!”

The middle-aged man, trembling with fear, cautiously suggested, ”Could it be that this Chen Nan has some kind of divine weapon at his disposal?”

”Impossible!”

Ling Dongqiang flatly denied, ”Even with a Divine Artifact in hand, it’s absolutely impossible to kill across three ranks!”

Ling Dongqiang was correct in what he said; indeed, with only the Demon Sword, Chen Nan would struggle to confront Ling Tian Gui. However, Chen Nan had mastered the ”Dou” Secret Technique from the Nine-character True Words, which had dramatically increased his combat prowess—a fact Ling Dongqiang could never have anticipated.

Looking up at the sky, Ling Dongqiang fell silent for a long while before turning to the middle-aged man and asking, ”In your opinion, should I kill this Chen Nan?”

”Family Head, it mustn’t be done!”

Although the middle-aged man was intimidated by Ling Dongqiang’s killing aura, he couldn’t help but advise, ”Forgive my frankness, but with the Dragon Soul Organization backing the Sky Team, it wouldn’t be difficult for our Ling family to kill Chen Nan. But if we were to anger those old fiends from the Dragon Soul...”

The middle-aged man did not continue, but his implication was already clear.

”Are we not to avenge my son’s death, then!?”

Ling Dongqiang roared furiously. Although he was aware that the Dragon Soul Organization was not to be trifled with, how could he remain calm in the face of his son’s death?

The middle-aged man quickly added, ”In fact, I took it upon myself to send people to capture Chen Nan’s beloved woman. Taking revenge doesn’t necessarily mean we must kill him; there are better ways than death.”

Ling Dongqiang fell silent for a long time, then nodded and said, ”Good, where is this woman now? Bring her to me immediately. I want her to suffer the greatest pains in the world, then give Chen Nan her mutilated body, so he suffers for his entire life!”

”Yes, I’ll have them bring her back at once!”

The middle-aged man, knowing he had made a significant contribution, replied excitedly and quickly took out his phone to dial a number. ”Shan Gui, the Family Head has ordered you to bring the person back immediately, yes, quickly!”

...

Chen Nan drove recklessly on the road, barreling through several intersections and running red lights, nearly colliding with other cars. He was terrified that if he arrived too late, Huo Xinya might be in danger.

Before long, Chen Nan entered the West Suburb area.

After checking the navigation, he found there were three abandoned factories nearby. Chen Nan had no choice but to start searching from the closest one.

The first factory was empty, there was no one inside.

Now that the sun had set, it was gradually getting darker. When Chen Nan arrived near the second abandoned factory, he saw flickering light inside the building, as if someone had started a fire there.

”It must be here!”

To avoid alerting the enemy, Chen Nan parked his car in the roadside bushes, got out, and snuck toward the location.

But when he reached the abandoned factory, he discovered it was empty except for a burning pile of firewood. On a large pillar next to it, there was an untied rope, and the air still carried the faint scent of Huo Xinya.

Chen Nan’s brow furrowed deeply.

It was clear that Huo Xinya had indeed been tied up here just a moment ago, but had she escaped or had the enemy moved her to another location?

”Xinxin!”

Chen Nan shouted anxiously as he burst out of the factory.
