School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 81: Chapter 93 Bacchus

When Chen Nan and Su Qingqing returned home, it was still early, so Su Yixuan and Yun Fei had not yet finished work.

Chen Nan had wanted to trick Su Qingqing out of the car keys to go out and have some thrill driving, but after last time’s lesson, Su Qingqing refused to give him the keys at any cost. She said someone like him, with no driver’s license and a penchant for speeding, was a road assassin who would only bring harm to others and himself by driving.

”This damn girl is too timid, if you won’t let me speed, I’ll do it just to spite you!”

Muttering curses to himself, Chen Nan returned to his room and sat down in front of the computer to play a racing game.

But just as he was really getting into the game, his phone rang with a call from an unknown number.

Interrupted while playing his game, Chen Nan felt supremely annoyed and picked up his phone to shout, ”Who the hell is this? Don’t you know to pick a better time to call?”

”Brother Nan, sorry, I didn’t know you were busy,” came Xiao Jiji’s voice from the other end.

Chen Nan was taken aback for a moment, ”What’s up?”

Xiao Jiji let out an awkward laugh, ”Brother Nan, do you have time right now? I’d like to invite you for a few drinks at the bar as an apology.”

Chen Nan’s brows furrowed, Xiao Jiji inviting him for drinks? Clearly, he was up to no good!

”You think you can just invite me like that? Do you think you’re that important? I don’t have time for this.”

On the other end, Xiao Jiji was completely dumbfounded. Chen Nan had been all smiles back in school, why was he now talking with such hostility? If it wasn’t for his own plans, Xiao Jiji really felt like cursing back – did he think I actually want to invite him?

Grinding his teeth, Xiao Jiji swallowed down the indignation, ”Brother Nan, I really did wrong by you in the past, and this time I’m specifically apologizing. Please do me the honor of accepting my invitation!”

Lighting a cigarette and taking a drag, Chen Nan said, ”Do me the honor? Are you ordering me around, Jiji?”

”No, of course not, I wouldn’t dare order you around!” Xiao Jiji felt an urge to punch someone as he struggled to keep his anger in check and said, ”I’m just earnestly asking you, hoping you will come.”

Chen Nan chuckled when he heard this. The kid must have set a trap, otherwise why would he beg so humbly?

”Since you’re asking so earnestly, why don’t you show some sincerity?”

When Xiao Jiji heard Chen Nan’s response, he was so frustrated that he nearly ground his teeth to bits. Damn it, pushing it too far!

Clenching his fist, it took him a while before he could say, ”Brother Nan, I’m begging you here, please show up.”

Chen Nan burst into laughter, ”Ah Jiji, you really took me seriously, I was just joking! Why would you really beg me like this? That’s so embarrassing!”

Joking?

Joke my ass!

Suppressing the impulse to swear, Xiao Jiji forced a smile, ”Brother Nan, you’re so funny. Pi Yan and I are waiting for you in the Heaven and Earth bar, in private room 203.”

”Alright, alright, I’ll be there soon.”

After saying that, Chen Nan hung up the phone. He was actually curious to see what kind of stunt Xiao Jiji would pull, and besides, there was free booze – no sense not drinking it.

After playing at the computer for another half an hour, Chen Nan finally left, hailing a taxi to the Heaven and Earth bar. Inside, Xiao Jiji was fuming with Tian Piyan, almost at the point of cursing his mother while waiting.

”Jiji, this son of a gun isn’t going to stand us up, is he?” Tian Piyan said, somewhat worried.

Xiao Jiji was also frustrated. When he called, Chen Nan had promised to arrive soon, but now, more than half an hour had passed and not even a hair of him had shown up.

Glaring at Tian Piyan, Xiao Jiji cursed under his breath, ”How the fuck would I know? I’m not some kind of worm in his stomach!”

Ten minutes later, the door to the private room was pushed open, and Chen Nan walked in.

”Jiji bro, I’m really sorry to have kept you all waiting, the traffic was terrible, even the pedestrian path was jammed, I couldn’t even sprint over here.” Although Chen Nan said this, there wasn’t a trace of apology on his face.

Jammed on the pedestrian path? What the hell, you’ve got to be kidding me!

Xiao Jiji had heard some tall tales before, but this was off the charts, ”Nan bro, it’s an honor that you could make it. Come on, let me raise a glass to you first.”

As Xiao Jiji lifted a glass of white liquor, Chen Nan walked over with a sigh, ”Drinking from a glass? Come on, Jiji, don’t treat me like an outsider! Real brothers drink straight from the bottle, it’s much cooler!”

Xiao Jiji was stunned for a moment; he had heard of chugging beer from the bottle, but white liquor straight from the bottle? Isn’t that courting death?

Clenching his teeth, Xiao Jiji grabbed a 400ml bottle of white liquor, ”Nan bro, since you’re so straightforward, I can’t dampen the mood. Let’s drink from the bottle then, I’ll take the first swig to you.”

If it’s courting death, so be it. I don’t believe the two of us together can’t outdrink you. Once you’re drunk, I’ll take you down for good!

While Xiao Jiji was plotting in his heart, Chen Nan abruptly grabbed a bottle, clinked it with his, and said, ”Jiji, you’re not being cool here. What’s this ’a sip to you’? If you’re paying a tribute, do it with a whole bottle. I’ll take a swig first, you decide what to do.”

After speaking, Chen Nan tilted his head back and drank.

”Gulugulugulu...”

Waves churned in the bottle, the liquid level plummeted; within a few breaths, a 400ml bottle of white liquor was drained by Chen Nan without a drop left.

Xiao Jiji and Tian Piyan were both dumbfounded. Is this guy drinking liquor or sipping a soft drink? Knocking back 400ml in one go, is he even human?

”Jiji, I finished mine. Why haven’t you started?”

Chen Nan picked up a pack of cigarettes from the coffee table, took one out, put it in his mouth, and looked at Xiao Jiji with a smile.

Xiao Jiji shuddered inwardly. Looking at the bottle in his hands, he thought, drinking all of this is going to kill me, isn’t it?

”Jiji, drink up!”

Tian Piyan nudged Xiao Jiji, reminding him to focus on the bigger picture.

I’m going all in!

Xiao Jiji gritted his teeth, stamped his foot, and started pouring the liquor from the bottle into his mouth.

After downing a bottle of white liquor, Xiao Jiji felt a burning sensation in his stomach as if he had consumed chili water, the discomfort was intense.

”Come on, come on, Pi Yan, a clash of wills makes for good company, let me honor you with a bottle.” Chen Nan grabbed another bottle from the coffee table and cheerfully said to Tian Piyan.

Tian Piyan’s mouth twitched convulsively. Having just toasted Xiao Jiji and now being toasted himself, was this guy out of his mind?

”Nan bro, I can’t really hold my liquor; can we start with half a bottle instead?”

Chen Nan shook his head, a bit displeased, ”How can that be alright? Brothers share deep bonds and drink in one gulp. Drinking half a bottle is worse than not drinking at all. I’ll drink up as my respect to you, you see what you’re gonna do.” After clanking the bottle with his, Chen Nan tilted his head and guzzled down another bottle.

Tian Piyan felt the urge to hit his head against the wall, shivering a little as he looked at the white liquor in his hands. Downing this bottle would mean at best a stomach bleed, if not getting dead drunk!

He was incredibly frustrated. The plan was supposed to be for him and Xiao Jiji to get Chen Nan drunk, but how did it end up with Chen Nan getting the two of them instead?
