Chapter 2603: Chapter 2603: Beating The Bully’s Underlings

”Well, I also have some paperwork that I think you will find...enlightening. Do you want to talk in front of everyone here?” Yu Qi tilted her head slightly.

Manager Kang narrowed his eyes as he heard the word ’paperwork’. Then he sneered, his face reddening as he looked at Yu Qi. He did not like the way this ”little doctor” spoke to him, and he liked the calm look in Long Hui’s eyes even less.

”You think a few big words and a lab coat make you untouchable?” Manager Kang scoffed.

Manager Kang turned to his men.

”Clear the path. If the ’help’ gets into your walk, break a few of his ribs. It should serve as a lesson to him. Don’t worry too much about the consequences. We will call it an accident caused by some unfortunate factors.” Manager Kang ordered his men with a voice full of malice.

The burly men stepped forward, cracking their knuckles loudly as they advanced. The villagers gasped in fear. They quickly stepped back, instinctively pulling the children behind them for protection.

The members of the medical team became worried about this sudden turn of events. They had never expected to become involved in such a dangerous situation. Last time, they had been caught up in the bride kidnapping incident, and now this...

Nurse Shin Teng held her medical tray tightly with a worried expression on her face.

”Doctor Yu Qi, maybe we should...” Nurse Shin Teng tried to speak.

But Yu Qi turned to her and smiled reassuringly.

”Don’t worry. Nurse Shin. We will be fine.” Yu Qi said.

”Will your fiancé be okay?” Nurse Shin Teng asked with concern.

”Nurse Shin, did you forget who my fiancé is?” Yu Qi chuckled softly.

Nurse Shin Teng remembered. Long Hui was a soldier. Not only that, he was the youngest person to receive the Colonel rank in the military. A few burly men like these should not be a problem for him at all.

The first thug lunged at Long Hui with his fist. He wanted to punch Long Hui in his face. In his own mind, the punch was extremely fast, but to Long Hui, it was moving in slow motion.

Long Hui did not bother to move his body. He shifted his head slightly, an inch to the left.

The thug’s fist passed right Long Hui’s ear and missed the target completely.

At the same time, Long Hui stuck out a foot.

The thug tripped and stumbled forward before his face landed straight on the ground. He growled loudly in pain.

Seeing his friend fall in such a miserable state, the second thug, who was already holding a metal baton, immediately charged at Long Hui. He swung his metal baton aggressively, wanting to hit Long Hui’s shoulder.

This time, Long Hui moved. He stretched out his hand, gripping the thug’s wrist just before the baton could make contact. With a subtle twist of his thumb against a specific pressure point, the thug’s fingers involuntarily flew open, and the baton clattered loudly to the ground.

Long Hui did not stop there. He approached the thug, pulling his hand forward and delivered a powerful back throw. The man flew backwards five feet before he landed heavily against the tyre of Manager Kang’s SUV.

”Is that all you’ve got?” Long Hui scoffed. ”I expected more from ’professional’ debt collectors.”

The first thug scrambled up from the ground. His face twisted with anger. He swiftly pulled a switchblade from his pocket.

Everyone around them began to panic when they saw the blade.

”Brother Hui.” Yu Qi called out.

However, there was no fear or sense of urgency in her voice.

The thug charged forward and swung the switchblade wildly toward Long Hui. As the switchblade swung, he calmly parried the hand which held the switchblade and delivered a sharp kick to the thug’s kneecap.

Crack.

Everyone could hear the sickening sound. The unmistakable sound of bone breaking.

Long Hui caught the knife before it could hit the ground. He casually flipped it into the air and caught it neatly by the handle. Without hesitation, he threw the blade forward.

The knife stabbed deep into the wooden doorframe of the SUV, inches away from Manager Kang’s head.

Manager Kang froze instantly as his back pressed against his vehicle. He was shocked and panicked at the moment. Both of his men had already been completely defeated by Long Hui and were now lying on the ground, unable to stand up.

Long Hui walked over, approaching Manager Kang. Manager Kang thought Long Hui wanted to punch him. However, Long Hui was reaching out for the knife embedded in the doorframe. He plucked the knife from the doorframe and folded it shut.

At the moment, Yu Qi stepped out of the communal hall. She stopped in front of the trembling Manager Kang.

”Well then, shall we go into the office and discuss that contract. Or would you like to see if your third driver is any better at fighting than these two?” Yu Qi said while tucking her clipboard under her arm.

”The... The office... Let’s talk there.” Manager Kang stammered nervously.

”Chief Su, join us.” Yu Qi called out for Su Longuo.

”Yes.” Su Longuo nodded immediately.

After all, he needed to be present for this discussion since he was the chief leader of the village.

Everyone who had witnessed the chaotic scene could not help but feel relieved and satisfied. The fight had been incredibly impressive to watch. Long Hui had even broken someone’s kneecap with a single kick.

”He... He did not even break a sweet.” An elderly man, who had been waiting for a blood pressure check, let out a shaky breath.
