The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 336: Chapter 335: Not Wanting Him to Get Hurt

Originally, Yiyi was very happy to receive a call from Gu Tingyu, but as soon as she heard that Fei Erya was injured, her expression immediately darkened.

”What happened, how did Er Ya get injured?”

Gu Tingyu briefly explained the situation and then said, ”Fei Erya is currently undergoing emergency treatment at the Central Hospital, you should come over quickly.”

After hanging up the phone, Yiyi didn’t say another word, quickly gathered her things, and ran out the door. When she arrived at the hospital, the door to the emergency room was still closed. She walked straight to Fan Qianshu with a grim expression and asked, ”What on earth happened? Wasn’t Er Ya out shopping with you? How did she end up getting hurt?”

Upon hearing this, Fan Qianshu glanced at her and said, ”She got hurt while protecting me from the knife.”

”Who were those people?”

Fan Qianshu slightly frowned and said, ”Those people wanted us to hand over our wallets, probably intending to rob us.”

Hearing this, Gu Tingyu raised his eyebrows slightly.

”Those people don’t look like robbers.”

Fan Qianshu didn’t speak for a moment because even he didn’t know who those people were or why they wanted him dead.

Yiyi wanted to continue asking questions, but just then, the emergency room door opened. She couldn’t be bothered with anything else and ran straight to the doctor who came out first, asking, ”Doctor, how is my friend? Is she okay?”

”Don’t worry, the surgery was very successful. She’ll be transferred to a regular ward shortly, but she needs to rest for a while, so take good care of her,” said the doctor before leaving.

Hearing this, Yiyi finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Fan Qianshu, nearby, also exhaled deeply and then quickly looked at Fei Erya, who was being wheeled out.

At this moment, Fei Erya was still under anesthesia and remained unconscious.

Seeing Fei Erya’s pale face, Yiyi was filled with heartache and accompanied the nurse to the ward.

Fan Qianshu and Gu Tingyu naturally followed along.

Once in the ward, everyone helped the nurse transfer Fei Erya onto the bed, and Yiyi sat by her side, waiting for her to wake up.

At that moment, Gu Tingyu suddenly said, ”You should go get your wound treated first, then come back with me for a while, I need to understand the situation.”

Upon hearing this, Yiyi turned back to look at Fan Qianshu and realized he was also injured. It was only because he was wearing black clothes that it wasn’t noticeable without careful observation.

”Since you’re injured, go treat it first.”

Yiyi said lightly.

Now that Fei Erya’s condition had stabilized, Fan Qianshu could finally relax. He gave Fei Erya a glance before going outside to find a nurse to treat his wound.

This finally gave Yiyi a chance to speak with Gu Tingyu.

”Tingyu, how did you end up there at that moment?”

Gu Tingyu answered, ”Today, I was leading a practice team when I suddenly received intelligence about an unusual incident nearby, so I took the team over to handle it. I didn’t expect to find Fan Qianshu and Er Ya surrounded when we arrived.”

”Have those people all been captured now?”

”Don’t worry, Zixiao has already taken them all back. After questioning, we’ll know exactly who they are.”

Yiyi nodded in agreement, ”Yes, make sure to question them thoroughly. I don’t believe they were robbers. If they really were, they would care more about money. Why would they go to such lengths to kill?”

”I agree, I doubt they were robbers. Maybe Fan Qianshu has enemies, but what kind of enemies could a Jing University student have?” Gu Tingyu was puzzled by this.

Yiyi shook her head and said, ”I don’t know either, but I always felt Fan Qianshu isn’t simple. I mentioned it to Er Ya before, but Fan Qianshu saved her, so it’s understandable that she feels fond of him. But if this keeps happening, I’ll have to warn Er Ya more. She can’t keep getting into danger because of Fan Qianshu.”

Seeing the frown on Yiyi’s face, Gu Tingyu gently touched her head and said, ”Alright, don’t worry. I’ll look into this situation thoroughly and let you know once I have answers.”

Yiyi nodded, ”Okay.”

Then looking at Gu Tingyu, she asked with concern, ”Is it okay for you to stay at the hospital? Will it delay your work?”

”No worries. I still need to take Fan Qianshu back later, so it’s like I’m working outside now.”

Upon hearing this, Yiyi felt relieved and added, ”Then you should take Fan Qianshu back soon, so it doesn’t disrupt your work.”

While they were talking, Fan Qianshu came back, having his wounds all bandaged.

So Gu Tingyu looked at him and said, ”Alright, let’s go now.”

Fan Qianshu looked at Yiyi and said, ”I’ll leave Er Ya in your care for now, don’t worry, I’ll be back soon to take good care of her myself.”

Seeing Fan Qianshu’s concern for Er Ya, Yiyi couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

She noticed Fan Qianshu’s attitude towards Er Ya had changed. He always seemed indifferent, but now he genuinely seemed to care.

”Don’t worry, even if you don’t say so, I’ll take good care of Er Ya.”

Hearing this, Fan Qianshu smiled at Yiyi, ”Thank you.”

Gu Tingyu also said goodbye to Yiyi.

”We’ll head back now. I’m off the day after tomorrow, so I’ll come by to see you then.”

Yiyi smiled and said, ”Okay.”

After Gu Tingyu and Fan Qianshu left, Yiyi stayed by the hospital bed the entire time.

Fei Erya woke up two hours later.

”Yiyi...”

Fei Erya turned her head with difficulty and looked at Yiyi, hoarsely calling her name.

Hearing this, Yiyi hurried forward and said, ”Er Ya, you’re injured, you need to rest well, don’t talk for now.”

But Fei Erya looked around and asked, ”Where’s Qianshu? Is he... alright?”

Seeing that Fei Erya was still worried about Fan Qianshu, Yiyi glared at her and said, ”You should worry about yourself first. Fan Qianshu is fine. He just had something to attend to and will be back soon, so don’t worry.”

Upon hearing this, Fei Erya finally breathed a sigh of relief, ”That’s good.”

Seeing Fei Erya like this, Yiyi shook her head and said, ”You silly girl, don’t you realize you were lucky this time? If that knife had hit your heart, even a miracle worker couldn’t save you. Next time, think about yourself first before saving others. If something happened to you, can’t you imagine how devastated your dad would be?”

An expression of fear crossed Fei Erya’s face, but she still weakly said, ”But I couldn’t bear the thought of Qianshu getting hurt either. I’d be heartbroken if something happened to him.”
