The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 329: Chapter 328: Suggestion

On one side, Gu Tingyu went to his new workplace to report in, while on the other side, Yiyi was also preparing to return to school for classes. She had missed quite a few lessons during this time. Although she didn’t slack off at home, there were still some knowledge points in the textbooks that she hadn’t fully grasped, and she needed to ask the teachers about them at school.

When Yiyi arrived at the dormitory, Cao Panpan hurriedly laughed and said, ”Yiyi, you finally came back to school for classes. If you didn’t come soon, this semester would have been over.”

However, she laughed to herself as she finished speaking, ”It does seem like it’s almost over.” After all, they were going to have their final exams in a week, and this semester was nearing its end.

Wei Xiweng, on the side, said, ”Yiyi couldn’t help it either. Who would have thought she’d hurt her bones? It takes a hundred days to heal from such injuries, so she really needs to take good care of herself. It’s better than An Xueqing and Feng Yudan. They could have stayed at school for classes but insisted on going outside to take acting jobs. Now the professors are really troubled by them.”

Hearing this, Cao Panpan couldn’t help but sigh, saying, ”Yes, their minds are no longer focused on studying.”

At the end, she said with some emotion, ”But both of them are now celebrities at our school. Many people have seen their performances and think they are really amazing.”

Tao Cuizhu originally had the most opinions about this matter, but she remembered what Yiyi had said before: since others have made their choices, they shouldn’t interfere. So she just said, ”Alright, if it’s what they decided, let’s not say much. As long as they can pass all their finals, the teachers have agreed not to fuss over their matters.”

”Let’s see if they can pass. After missing so many classes, their usual credits are already low. If their grades aren’t good enough, they still can’t graduate.”

Wei Xiweng said lightly, then quickly changed the topic, ”Yiyi, let’s go to the little restaurant at the school gate for dinner tonight to celebrate your recovery and engagement.”

This suggestion was wholeheartedly supported by Tao Cuizhu and Cao Panpan, therefore after school, the group went straight to the little restaurant at the school gate to have dinner.

Other than An Xueqing and Feng Yudan, Yiyi had good relations with the other roommates, so they ate happily.

The busy school life always passes quickly. By Friday, Yiyi suddenly realized the semester really was almost over. After a two-day break, the finals week would begin next Monday.

However, she still planned to go home for the weekend. Now, her mother and she lived at the Ding Family’s house. Since starting school, her mother had been living alone there. She didn’t know whether her mother was used to it.

After packing her things, Yiyi went directly back.

Mr. Ding and Ding Yuejun were very happy to see Yiyi return. Ding Yuejun specifically went to the kitchen to cook two dishes that her daughter loved.

Mr. Ding pulled Yiyi aside to ask about school.

”Don’t worry, Grandpa, everything is fine. Exams start next week, then I’ll have two months off.”

Mr. Ding smiled and nodded at her words, saying, ”That’s great, then you can really take a good break. If you want to go sightseeing, you can go around with your mother.”

”Mother is probably going to be busy. I also plan to visit the pharmaceutical factory to check the situation, so the sightseeing will have to wait until later.”

Mr. Ding, hearing this, looked at Yiyi and said, ”Actually, you and your mother don’t have to work so hard. Grandpa will arrange everything for you in the future.”

He knew about Ding Yuejun’s clothing factory and Yiyi’s pharmacy, but now that he’s found them, they didn’t need to tire themselves out so much. With such a big Ding Family home, there wasn’t a need for them to work themselves to exhaustion.

But Yiyi shook her head and said, ”Mom loves designing and embroidery, so even if the clothing store is super busy, she finds it meaningful. So please don’t talk about closing, or she’ll probably be unhappy. As for me, I’ve always studied medicine, so building a pharmacy is great.”

After hearing Yiyi, Mr. Ding didn’t say much more but just said, ”Alright then, if you encounter any problems, you can always tell me. Grandpa will help you solve them.”

”Okay, thank you in advance, Grandpa.”

Yiyi naturally accepted Mr. Ding’s kind offer.

Ding Yuejun cooked quickly, making a fish fillet soup that Yiyi loved, as well as Mr. Ding’s favorite eel slices in hot oil, and added a few simple home-cooked dishes. The three of them enjoyed a simple meal together.

The next day, Yiyi was planning to visit Old Mrs. Gu, but unexpectedly, Fei Erya came by.

”Er Ya, what brings you here? Come in and sit.”

Seeing Er Ya, Yiyi’s face was full of smiles.

Fei Er Ya smiled and said, ”Yiyi, I won’t sit inside. Actually, I came over today to invite you to go shopping and buy some things.”

Yiyi immediately nodded and said, ”Sure, let’s go now.”

The two of them chatted as they walked, and Fei Er Ya spoke about shopping.

”The holidays are coming soon, but I plan to stay here and keep working, so I came to find you today to shop and buy some things to send to my dad.”

Yiyi, hearing this, couldn’t help but say, ”You won’t be going home at all during the summer vacation?”

”Yes, I have to work every day, with only weekends off, so I won’t be going home.” Fei Er Ya sighed, but the job’s salary was quite good, so she considered it thoroughly and decided not to go home.

Yiyi, hearing this, couldn’t help but say, ”Actually, even if you don’t go home, you can ask Uncle to visit you, and then take him for a nice tour around Shangjing.”

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Fei Er Ya’s eyes brightened.

”Oh, right! Why didn’t I think of that before? I can ask my dad to come. He’d surely be happy to come, and not only can we meet, but we can also tour around.”

Fei Er Ya became more and more excited as she spoke.

”But I still need to buy things. After sending them, I’ll call my dad and ask him to come if he can. I’ll show him around Shangjing.”

The father and daughter hadn’t traveled together much, and now, with this opportunity, she was quite happy.

The two went to the street to buy some specialties, but following Yiyi’s suggestion, Fei Er Ya didn’t buy too many. If her father really came to Shangjing, she’d take him to try them out personally.

After buying the items, Fei Er Ya went directly to the post office to send them. She also called her father, and upon knowing that he had agreed to come, she happily said, ”Dad, I’ll be waiting for you. I’ll pick you up at the station then.”
