Pokémon: My Parallel World Daughters Revealed

[VIP Chat Group]

[Raihan]: One Diancie standee was enough to pry another five billion out of him! Hahahaha! Is this the true power of Selene?!

[Leon]: Rather than Selene being incredible, I’d say parallel-world Steven is simply beyond saving.

[Brawly]: Fun fact: Steven has never once denied anything his parallel-world self has done.

[Steven]: Why would I deny it? I don’t see anything wrong with parallel-world me. Everything he does speaks directly to my heart.

[Wallace]: Steven, serious question. If Ruri and Diancie both fell into the water at the same time, who would you save first?

[Steven]: Is that even a question? Diancie can swim. Ruri can swim too. Neither of them needs me to save them.

[Sidney]: Somehow, your logic becomes remarkably clear in the strangest situations.

[Wallace]: If someone told me Devon Corporation would someday go bankrupt because of Diancie merchandise, I wouldn’t even be surprised anymore.

[Mr. Stone]: Steven, come home for dinner tonight. We need to have a proper talk.

[Steven]: ...Dad, I suddenly remembered there’s a League meeting I need to attend. I’m logging off.

[Mr. Stone]: You’re not coming back? Finance department, later take every stone in Steven’s collection room and put them up for auction.

[Steven]: WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! I’M COMING HOME RIGHT NOW!

[Volkner]: The three things Steven must protect in this life: One: Diancie, whom he probably won’t obtain even if he spends his entire life trying. Two: the stones in his collection room. Three: Asher’s cool factor.

[Flint]: Hahahaha! Volkner, you really are a genius!

The scene changed again.

Inside Saffron Gym.

Sabrina walked out of the bathroom with her black hair wrapped in a towel, her cheeks faintly flushed from the steam.

She entered the living room and saw Asher leaning back on the sofa, reading an extremely thick book.

Its title was: Ninety-Nine Ways to Keep a Psychic in a Good Mood

Still drying her hair, Sabrina walked over and sat beside him.

She tilted her head and glanced at the title.

”Why are you reading something like that?”

”Obviously because I’m researching how to make you happy.”

Sabrina turned her face away, the tips of her ears faintly red.

”Books like that are probably scams.”

”How could any of it actually work?”

”That’s hard to say.”

Asher reached out and wrapped an arm around Sabrina’s shoulders.

”I found one method in here that seems pretty useful.”

”What method?”

Asher suddenly leaned closer and whispered beside her ear:

”For example...”

”When a psychic is in a bad mood, give her a warm enough hug.”

The tips of Sabrina’s ears slowly turned redder.

But she didn’t move away.

”Then...”

She turned her head slightly, her voice so quiet it was almost inaudible.

”I’m not in a very good mood right now.”

”What a coincidence.”

Asher smiled and opened his arms.

”I happen to be professionally trained.”

He gently pulled Sabrina into his embrace.

Sabrina buried her face against the crook of his neck.

Her body gradually relaxed, while her fingers unconsciously tightened around the corner of his shirt.

”Wifey.”

”Mm.”

”I’m going out in a few days.”

”Where?”

”That space-themed amusement park Selene just built.”

Asher rested his chin on her shoulder.

”That girl invited me to do the grand finale performance.”

”Want to come along?”

Sabrina fell silent for a moment.

The tips of her ears slowly reddened again.

”...I’ll think about it.”

”All right.”

Asher picked up the remote and dimmed the living-room lights.

”We’ve finished talking about the kids.”

”Next comes adult time.”

[VIP Chat Group]

[Diantha]: Oh my~ Hubby, you really do know how to flirt. How about flirting with me a little tonight too?~

[Misty]: Diantha, can you stop saying things like that in the group?! Elaria is still here!

[Cynthia]: ...She’s beyond saving.

[Caitlin]: By the way, is Sabrina in the group? Why hasn’t she said anything this whole time?

[Bianca]: Don’t tell me she’s so embarrassed that she’s hiding somewhere?! Aaaaah, this pairing is so good too!

[Shauntal]: I’m saving this scene as material. Please look forward to my next novel—Ninety-Nine Ways to Make a Psychic’s Heart Flutter.

[Steven]: Shauntal, can I commission a custom book called The Eternal Epic of Ore and Love?

[Shauntal]: Mr. Steven, you are not the target audience for my novels.

[Wallace]: Her novels are written for normal people.

[Steven]: Am I not normal?

[Raihan]: The fact that you even had to ask that question already makes the answer pretty obvious.

The video continued playing.

Kanto region.

Cinnabar Island.

It was the trial-opening day of the Sun-Moon Group’s Cosmic-Class Immersive Psychic Experience Park.

Selene stood beneath the gigantic moon sculpture at the park’s main entrance.

Then she activated the Sun-Moon Group’s newest livestream drone.

”Hello, everyone watching!”

”Welcome to the Sun-Moon Group’s official livestream!”

”I’m Selene, CEO of the Sun-Moon Group!”

With one hand on her hip and a brilliant smile on her face, she gave the camera her signature wink.

”Today is the trial opening of our Cosmic-Class Immersive Psychic Experience Park!”

”Originally, I prepared a full three-hour livestream schedule.”

”We were going to start at the South Gate and play our way all the way to the North Gate!”

”Nonstop excitement from beginning to end!”

Selene suddenly changed her tone.

Her expression became serious.

”But!”

”Just now, I learned that my biological big sister—Aurelia—is also here on Cinnabar Island!”

Selene winked again.

Then she lowered her voice toward the camera.

”Everyone...”

”Do you think I should go give Big Sis a little surprise?”

Less than five seconds after those words left her mouth—

The livestream’s viewer count jumped directly from eighty thousand to eight hundred thousand.

The chat went completely insane.

”GO GO GO GO GO GO GO!!!”

”WHO CARES ABOUT THE SURPRISE?! THE IMPORTANT THING IS LETTING US SEE LADY AURELIA!!!”

”Ciallo~ (∠?ω＜ )⌒★”

”IS THE SUN-MOON GROUP LIVESTREAM FARMING NUMBERS TODAY?! HOW IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO RESIST THIS?!”

Selene glanced over the barrage of comments.

The curve of her smile grew even wider.

”All right!”

”Then let’s go deliver some warmth to Big Sis!”

The moment she finished speaking, she activated the livestream drone’s high-powered zoom.

It began scanning the entirety of Cinnabar Island with a full 360-degree field of view.

Then Selene pulled out a Poké Ball and pressed its button.

A flash of red light and Zoroark appeared beside her.

”Zoroark.”

”Ready?”

”Don’t worry, Boss.”

Zoroark conjured a black top hat with a pop and placed it on its head.

”The thing I’m best at in this life...”

”Is giving people ’surprises.’”

”Excellent!”

Selene sharply snapped her fingers.

Two smaller drones shot into the air.

Zoroark kicked off the ground, leaped onto a rooftop, and vanished into the streets of Cinnabar Island within moments.

”Move out!”

”THE HUNT BEGINS!”
