Martial God Asura

Chapter 6705: Punished On the Spot

But Baili Xukong couldn’t care less about that. He grabbed Ling Mouzi’s upper body and raised it like a symbol of victory.

“Netherworld Sectmembers! Claim the heads of the dogshit Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members and collect your rewards from me after the battle!”

“Lord Netherworld Marshal, there is no need for rewards when we’re fighting for the young master!”

Those who had been holding the heads of the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members as spoils of war tossed them aside.

“Good!” Baili Xukong was satisfied with their responses.

He raised his God Armament saber and slaughtered his way through into the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s army like an unstoppable god of slaughter. Wherever he passed, ships were destroyed, humans were dissected, and blood splattered.

But this sight was not limited to where Baili Xukong was.

The Netherworld Sect had the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s army surrounded. The carnage was happening everywhere.

Chu Feng saw the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members around him being reduced to blood fog.

Screams of pain filled the air. The Netherworld Sectmembers weren’t just killing the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members; they were like ravenous wolves tearing into their enemies as if venting their anger.

“Does your grandfather command such strong rallying power? Baili Xukong didn’t hesitate to choose his stance after learning about your identity. Oh? That means that Dongfang Hansong is the only asshole in the Netherworld Sect. Their cruelty satisfies me a lot.”

Eggy’s eyes glowed in excitement.

Chu Feng felt conflicted. The Netherworld Sect had tried everything they could to kill him. He had even slaughtered his way into their ranks just moments ago, so the grudge between them should have been irreconcilable.

Yet, they didn’t hesitate to turn against the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion for him when they learned that he was their Netherworld Master’s grandson. They displayed extreme animosity toward the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion when there was no grudge between them.

Their reactions were so extreme that it shook Chu Feng up a little. In the end, he could only remark with a sigh, “The Netherworld Sect sure is interesting.”

...

Meanwhile, the palace, where Dongfang Hansong and the others were, was isolated from the world, so they were oblivious to what was happening outside.

A blood-red formation had been constructed inside the palace, but it was reaching its limit.

Dongfang Hansong’s subordinates were gasping for air on the ground, having expended themselves greatly from channeling the formation.

The six neutral elders had shedded their weakness and regained their previous dispositions. They were no longer powerless old men. They had regained their rank five Heavenly God level cultivation, though their fighting prowess was weaker than before.

In contrast, Dongfang Hansong was in a terrible state. He had been reduced to a soul entity, and his condition was even worse than Xiahou Jue’s. He kneeled feebly on the floor, looking like he would disintegrate at any moment.

“Dongfang Hansong, don’t think that we’ll forgive you just because you returned our cultivation to us. Your crimes will never be forgiven. You will be forever shamed in our Netherworld Sect!” Lie Shan glared at Dongfang Hansong wrathfully.

Even Cang Li couldn’t bring himself to forgive Dongfang Hansong. He could overlook the latter’s folly but not his betrayal of the Netherworld Master.

The six neutral elders quickly headed out of the palace.

Dongfang Hansong’s aides, despite being so weakened that they could hardly stand, struggled to their feet. They wanted to join the six neutral elders in rescuing Chu Feng.

Dongfang Hansong feebly spoke up, “Milords, I, Dongfang Hansong, am a traitor of the sect. I don’t expect any forgiveness. However, Chen Hui is loyal to the sect. I hope you won’t implicate him in my crime in view of his steadfast loyalty.”

The six neutral elders paused when they heard those words.

“Don’t worry. Your crimes are too grievous to be forgiven, but Chen Hui’s merits are inerasable as well. The Netherworld Sect will treat him well,” Cang Li said before crushing the palace gate under his feet.

They were about to soar into the sky when they suddenly froze up. There was a vast blood fog in the sky, and warship debris was scattered everywhere.

Netherworld Sectmembers were brutally massacring the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members!

“Hah...”

The crowd burst into laughter. They immediately understood Baili Xukong’s decision.

“I knew it. That lad, Baili Xukong, worships Lord Netherworld Master so much. How can he possibly betray Lord Netherworld Master for his son?” Lie Shan laughed heartily.

“That’s not what you said earlier. You said that Baili Xukong is too ambitious, and that he will stoop to anything for his son,” Ting Yun pointed out.

“You must have misheard. I didn’t say that.” Lie Shan awkwardly coughed.

“Enough. Now is not the time for us to bicker. Now that we have confirmed Chu Feng as our young master, how can we not participate in a fight against the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion? Let’s show those people the plight that befalls those who cross our young master!”

With that, the six neutral elders and Dongfang Hansong’s aides charged toward the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s world spiritists. They took Xiahou Jue’s tattered soul along with them.

Dongfang Hansong was the only one left in the palace. He was so feeble that it was strenuous for him to even flip his body over. He could only slowly move his body on the floor.

But even when he flipped over, he realized that he couldn’t see what was happening in the distance. The palace doors were open, so he could hear fighting sounds and the screams of agony from the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members.

He chuckled under his breath. His laughter carried a tinge of relief and bitterness.

“I was the only one who betrayed Lord Netherworld Master. Lord Netherworld Master, if there is an afterlife, may I be reborn as your cow or horse to repay your grace,” Dongfang Hansong said with the final sliver of his energy.

His soul finally dissipated into thin air.

The participation of the six neutral elders on the battlefield only hastened the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s downfall. It didn’t take long for silence to return to the surroundings.

All of the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion’s members, including the Saint-tier elders and the Shadow Corps’ elites and leaders, had been massacred. The sealing formation unraveled along with their deaths.

The Netherworld Sectmembers stood in a neat formation in front of Chu Feng as if an army awaiting inspection.

Baili Xukong and the six neutral elders stood at the forefront.

The six neutral elders couldn’t conceal their excitement; Lie Shan was even tearing up and leaking snot. Baili Xukong, on the other hand, had a conflicted expression.

Despite his fearless personality, he was visibly nervous right now. In the end, he mustered his courage to walk up to Chu Feng and drop to his knees.

“I was blind to not recognize the young master. I foolishly joined forces with the Seven Realms Sacred Mansion and made attempts on your life. I deserve to die a thousand times over. Please punish me, young master.”

Baili Xukong offered his God Armament saber with both hands.
