Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2342: Chapter 1775: Journey to the Capital (Part 2)

Han Zizhi also immediately looked at the young man.

Upon hearing Bai Xiaosheng’s name, he too showed concern.

”I don’t know about that,” the young man shook his head and said, ”but so far, there’s no news of that gentleman’s arrival.”

Han He had no choice but to nod and smile at the man.

”Could it be that Bai Xiaosheng wasn’t invited?” Han Zizhi mumbled and couldn’t help but show a slightly mocking smile with his father.

If that’s the case, it’s interesting. The guy named Bai doesn’t even qualify to attend this visit!

Han He immediately glanced at his son, his eyes carrying a hint of sternness.

Han Zizhi quickly closed his mouth.

”I believe he will definitely receive an invitation!” Han He quietly affirmed.

About Bai Xiaosheng, Han He hadn’t interacted with him before, all information came only from rumors, news; it’s heard that Bai Xiaosheng had cooperated with many big business people and organized some business alliance, but the truth is unclear. However, today, with Zhenbei Group’s strength in the Greater China Region, it’s already qualified to attend, and the opportunity that allowed them to grow big originated from a reform, the direct promoter of that reform was Bai Xiaosheng himself.

Such a figure can’t possibly be left out!

How could he be overlooked!

His son talked so fast in front of outsiders; evidently, he forgot the advice given before departing!

Han He decided that upon reaching their lodging, he would firmly remind Han Zizhi once more.

”Tomorrow, there will be another batch of business people coming. Bai Xiaosheng might arrive then,” the young man leading the way proactively told Han and his son, ”Also, tomorrow night there is a banquet hosted by Director Hou; many leaders will come to meet everyone.”

Upon hearing this, Han He couldn’t help but ask eagerly, ”Is it Director Hou Yuncheng, the leader of this delegation’s visit?!”

”Yes,” replied the man, nodding.

”I’ve heard of his name for a long time, and I’ve wanted to meet him,” Han He smiled, his gaze actually full of anticipation.

Han Zizhi standing by was rather curious.

He heard there would be many leaders, and they must be significant figures, but why was his father particularly keen on meeting Hou Yuncheng?

In the presence of outsiders, Han Zizhi didn’t dare to ask much; he could only bury this doubt in his heart.

As they talked, they arrived at their accommodation.

It was a five-story building equipped with auxiliary facilities, including an auditorium and a fitness center.

Under the lead of the young man, Han He saw many familiar faces as they walked inside.

Han He shed his usual aloof demeanor and took the initiative to greet them, since none of those he met held a status lower than his own.

Not to mention, Han He not only greeted them but mainly introduced his son to them.

Just by passing through the first-floor lobby, Han He and the others stopped several times.

Seeing this, the young man checked the time and seized the moment when Han He and his son weren’t talking to others, interjecting, ”Mr. Han, we’re here. Your room is on the fourth floor; here is the key. I see you’re not in a hurry to return to your room, so feel free to socialize with your friends. I have other work to attend to, so I’ll leave you here.”

Seeing this, Han He immediately apologized to the young man, since they had made him wait several times along the way, then thanked him once more.

Han Zizhi, being articulate, also thanked the young man.

The young man handed over the key with a smile and then turned to leave.

With no one around now, Han and his son were more at ease, deciding to wander the first-floor lobby and greet people.

As a result, they indeed encountered a few heavyweight figures.

First were two middle-aged men dressed in casual wear and wearing baseball caps, seemingly returning from the gym, surprisingly it was Lu Yun from Tengyun Group and Jia Chengshan from Jia Group. Each was accompanied by someone, and they were quite conspicuous upon arrival, chatting and laughing.

Even Han He couldn’t help but be a little surprised.

He had heard that these two were not on good terms; did they go exercising together?

Han He’s doubts quickly faded; he didn’t care about the rumors, only the immediate benefits mattered, so he led Han Zizhi over with a smile.

When Han Zizhi saw them, his eyes lit up.

Whether Lu Yun or Jia Chengshan, each was a master in their business domain, achieving the highest level of success.

If he could leave a good impression on them, it would be a great fortune.

”Mr. Lu, Mr. Jia, you both arrived early,” Han He said with a smile as he went to greet them.

Lu Yun and Jia Chengshan noticed Han He and were slightly surprised, then smiled, ”Mr. Han, you’re here too.”

”When did you arrive?”

After exchanging pleasantries, the three started to chat.

Han He took the opportunity to introduce his son to the two business moguls. Lu Yun and Jia Chengshan politely complimented Han Zizhi.

Just this brief interaction was enough to excite Han Zizhi, his face showing a hint of blush.

After discussing for five minutes, Lu Yun and Jia Chengshan wanted to return to their rooms.

But before leaving, Lu Yun smiled and said to Han He, ”I heard Mr. Han is doing well with the new business expansion in the west.”

”I also heard it’s progressing quite rapidly,” Jia Chengshan chuckled.

”Are you interested, perhaps to join in?” Han He said at the right time.

This wasn’t just a polite gesture. If they could use this opportunity to form deep collaborative relationships with Tengyun Group and Jia Group, the profitability of those twenty-odd companies would be trivial.
