Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2302: Chapter 1747: Bidding War

Bai Xiaosheng, accompanied by Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying, said goodbye to Jia Chengshan and his group, left the tea house, and headed back.

Since the celebration, Dong Tianxiu hasn’t gone with Bai Xiaosheng and the others to the tea house, and no one from Jia Chengshan’s side noticed him. As Bai Xiaosheng had instructed earlier, Dong Tianxiu went off to report this matter to Lu Yun and Dong Tianlu.

On the way, Bai Xiaosheng also sent a message to Dong Tianxiu, giving him a heads-up about the situation here.

After pocketing his phone, Bai Xiaosheng asked Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying if they wanted to continue watching the celebration.

Of course, Bai Xiaosheng himself couldn’t go.

Not long ago, he had just been surrounded by Jia Chengshan’s group; the ”exposure rate” was too high. Going again to attract attention might be troublesome.

If Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying still had interest, them going wouldn’t be a problem.

”Forget it, it’s just a bit of festive hustle and bustle, whether I watch it or not doesn’t matter,” Lin Weiwei said indifferently.

Lei Ying was even more unconcerned, shaking the bag he had been carrying and said, ”All the interesting trinkets I’ve taken. I even brought a share for you guys, so there’s no need for me to go back.

Hearing their words, Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but laugh, ”Then let’s go back and rest early, catch up on some sleep.”

”There’s a big show waiting for us tomorrow,” Bai Xiaosheng said with a hint of a smile.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying exchanged glances; they naturally knew Bai Xiaosheng was referring to tomorrow’s land auction.

Bai Xiaosheng, on a whim, wanted to participate personally, also to counter Jia Chengshan’s group.

”Xiaosheng, did you change your mind? Are we determined to win that piece of land?” Lin Weiwei couldn’t help but ask.

If that was the case, they’d need to prepare early.

Acquiring a piece of land isn’t so simple; you need to prepare funding, estimate the final transaction price, assess the development value. In short, a lot needs to be prepared in advance.

Lei Ying also looked towards Bai Xiaosheng, inquiring with his gaze.

”You don’t need to worry about it, just go back and sleep.” Bai Xiaosheng had a carefree expression.

Perhaps Mr. Lu Yun and the others had already discussed the situation with Xiaosheng, and he had it under control, Lin Weiwei couldn’t help but think secretly.

Actually, for Bai Xiaosheng, with the financial strength of his several companies now, even acquiring a pricey piece of land on a whim posed no pressure. To say something reckless on the off chance, even obtaining it and letting it sit undeveloped wouldn’t be a concern. That’s the confidence of abundant funds.

Moreover, that piece of land held ”strategic” value for the development of Tengyun and their several companies.

However, the land was also of significant interest to other major domestic companies, so the attendance of major corporate representatives at tomorrow’s land auction would surely be many.

Bai Xiaosheng and the other two returned to their residence and rested.

That night passed quietly.

The next day, early in the morning, Dong Tianxiu came to join Bai Xiaosheng and his group for breakfast.

Just halfway through eating, Jia Chengshan and his seven companions walked in, their eyes swept around and spotted Bai Xiaosheng’s group, came over to greet them, and sat at the adjacent tables.

Perhaps Jia Chengshan, Lu Tiandao, and Zhang Qinglin had instructed the others beforehand that mealtime was just for eating. No one talked about today’s land auction nor disturbed Bai Xiaosheng.

Bai Xiaosheng and the four others quietly enjoyed their breakfast, occasionally chatting, not related to work.

In this mutual understanding fashion, both sides finished breakfast, nodded to each other as a greeting, and then departed separately.

At nine in the morning, Dong Tianxiu, with Bai Xiaosheng and the three others, drove to the Huajing East District Land Management Bureau.

Today, several pieces of land would be auctioned, among which the one with the largest area and highest potential was the one everyone was paying attention to, the potential ”Land King,” already pre-crowned by the media.

En route to the land management bureau, Bai Xiaosheng’s group went through security checks, following instructions to a building, where a long queue had already formed, with staff and security maintaining order.

Bai Xiaosheng and his group joined the end of the queue, taking a quarter of an hour to pass through, and went with the crowd to the auction hall.

The hall was large, with hundreds of seats divided into several bidding zones and a viewing area, facing a huge wall of display screens, and an auction platform set in front of it with staff adjusting equipment.

Bai Xiaosheng and his group took their seats based on the allocated numbers.

Before long, Jia Chengshan’s group arrived too, seated in a nearby area, nearly level horizontally with Bai Xiaosheng’s group.

Jia Chengshan’s group didn’t just come with seven people, but over twenty, in addition to the seven core moguls, the rest were a think tank.

Snagging a piece of land with the potential to be a Land King isn’t simple; it necessitates on-the-spot team evaluations of the final transaction value, including analyzing a competitor’s bid frequency to ascertain their base price, suggest bidding strategies and recommendations.

Other major buyers also brought their think tanks.

By comparison, Bai Xiaosheng, with his identity, only brought along three people, and those three were completely out of their depth, having done no prior homework, making them seem quite sparse.

Today, Bai Xiaosheng intentionally ”dressed up,” coupled with being youthful, sitting in non-core, slightly remote seats, resulting in little attention being paid to them.

Conversely, Jia Chengshan and his group had high notoriety and exposure, attracting numerous corporate moguls and company representatives to greet them upon arrival, bustling with activity, further accentuating the solitude on Bai Xiaosheng’s side.
